Is My Android App a Spy Cam - General Marketing & SEO

Hi All,
I wouldn't mind some feedback on our new Android App. Its not a spy cam but want to promote the app for people going on holiday and capture photos, time and place and make it easily shareable on the web.
AutoPIX is the Next Generation in Photo Sharing, Tagging and Collaboration. It is designed to easily take photos, upload and share.
All photos taken are geotagged and gps locations are also captured automatically. Photos and GPS Locations are uploaded at certain intervals which can be viewed at AutoPIX.me

GPS and Camera (geotags)

Hi Gang,
I used this feature (stored the photos in the My POI folder) and what do I do from here.
How can I determine what the Latitue and Longatude for the photos were? Am I missing something or have I mis-interprited the feature?
Thanks
hi, the gps information is saved in the exif data of the picture.
if you want to see where your photos were taken you need to have google earth and Panorado Flyer installed on your computer, right click in a geotaged picture and choose panorado flyer -> show location in google earth...
hope it helps you a little...
Dude i got it working, thanks for that.
Is there like an exsisting thread about this that shows tips and tricks and cool staff about this feature?

Send phone pics to a gallery (must have server)

The camera on the Incredible is by no means anything comparable to a good digital camera but for a phone I think it takes pretty good pictures.
OK, this is a really neat way to post your phone pics to an online gallery.
NOTE: you must have server access and basic knowledge about installing a simple script to the server.
It requires 2 programs.
1 a program called MG2 or MiniGal 2 available free here (they accept donations)
http://www.minigal.dk/mg2.html
A program available from the Android Market called "Instant Upload"
Both programs are relatively easy to set up providing you have server knowledge and access.
After the set up and installation is done, all you need is to open your explorer program on your phone (I use Root Explorer but Astro file manager works as well) and navigate to the folder where your pics are located, click on the pic and you will be given several options - One of which is "Instant Upload". You need to have Instant Upload configured to upload to the directory that you installed the gallery on your server.
Your photo is uploaded to the gallery but not live yet.
Next you need to go the your gallery page and log in, click on the "Import" icon at the top of the page and the thumbnail and image will be placed in the gallery automatically.
There are several options in the gallery set up, you can change skins, allow user comments on your photos, display xif information and many other options.
Here is a link to the gallery I set up to show you what the end result will be.
http://www.kooldezine.com/droid/
As you can see, the gallery will let you add folders to categorize your photos if needed.
Hope some of you find this useful.
I will try to answer any questions if needed.
I hate to burst your bubble, that cat pic was cool btw, but have you heard of Picasa?

Click to collapse
Not bursting my bubble, if you prefer Picasa that's fine with me.
Adobe has a nice program that's similar as well.
And for most people Picasa would also be a much easier route to take. But for me this is the way I like it.
I guess I'm just "Old School"

Restricted Profile + Photos/Gallery in Lollipop?

I have three (3) User Profiles on my N7. Mine (Admin), Wife's (Std User), and Kids' (Restricted User)
After updating to Lollipop the Kids' Restricted Profile no longer has Gallery/Photos access. I've gone to my Admin settings and checked the restricted access, there are two for Photos, I can only turn on one and the other says not available for Restricted Users. Turning on the one I can, gives me the Photos icon, but I can't open it.
I have a "Nexus 7 camera app" installed, I can scroll right from the photo screen and see old photos, but I have no access to the Gallery/Photos.
Is there a way to get Gallery/Photo access to a Restricted Profile?
Or an app that gives my kids access to their Photos, Screengrabs, Saved Images?
Thank you.
Photos is part of G+ so you need to enable that as well, or just install something like Quickpic.
G+ is prohibited on a Restricted Profile too. I installed a third party gallery from the Play Store, looks like that will work alright.
what app did you install that worked? I also want to do this because photo and video is what my youngest children use the most!

Google + business page photo problem

I have a Google business page for my company and I have a problem with uploading photos to it.
Ive checked all my settings camera and in app settings and when I upload a picture from my note 4 either from my phone or from the net it uploads in a lower resolution and looks pixilated.
Is there any other users on here that runs a business page that can check if the same happens to them?
Here is a link to my page.
