After that my phone does not work, it will only boot to screen saying "Odin mode" ....... "UDC START".
The firmware have I downloaded from sammobile.com.
I have to mention that I come from Denmark and the firmware is meant for "France (Orange)" - version 4.3 is not yet released for other european countries.
Afterwards I've also tried to reinstall 4.2.2 - but this one fails with following error:

Thanks for your reply
Is there a simple way to do that; and which files should I use for GT-I9506 ?
Regarding my SIZE error trying to flash with 4.3: <ID:0/003> FAIL! (Size)
Should I use 'repartition' doing the upgrade with Odin ??

you have successfully flash 4.3 bootloader (not the complete rom) , what means you will not be able to flash a 4.2.2 rom anymore, so if you try to do that you will be wasting your time. Just concentrate on flashing successfully stock 4.3.
Repartition option is only indicated if you have inside the flashing file a pit file with the partition information table (pit). I see in the first flashing chance as it has a pit file, so yes, try to check repartition. Important: use odin 3.09, none else...

This photo is DOWNLOAD MODE. I think is better u dont update coz u still having ur KNOX (0x0). This mean u still having warranty. Anyway ur phone dont have this update ready either for ur country.
EDIT: U know ur phone have to be in DOWNLOAD MODE (photo u attached) when u wanna flash new firmware with Odin (I recommend u Odin 3.09)? Are u using Win 8 or 7 maybe?
I am using Win 7.
What is the problem if I would try using 'repartition' with Odin ?

No problem if you have the stock pit file inside the stock rom tar, if you put repartition and there is not a pit file, you will get error in repartition and it will not do anything, so no problem at all...

I suppose I need to repartition in order to flash 4.3 to my phone as it seems to need more space i different partitions.
From 4.4.2 -> 4.3 system.img has grown from about 1.9 GB -> 2.1 GB.
PIT FILE needed
I found a pit-file for GT-I9505 - will that be suitable for flashing 4.3 on my GT-I9506 ?

Actually I am able to boot to "Android system recovery".
I have now done 'wipe data' + 'wipe 'cache' - what should I do next ?
If I simply choose 'reboot' - it ends up with the SAMSUNG logo.
Tried once more to flash 4.3
Tried once more to flash firmware - but same error (FAIL! (Size) )
I guess that I need the correct pit-file for GT-I9506 used for Android 4.3.

I understand you still can access download mode successfully.
Yes, maybe inside the pit file it has an entry with the model for that pit (i9505), odin detect you have a i9506 and it doesn't success (fails).
You should download the correct firmware i9506 with pit included, or any other firmware, because consider you still have a partition made.

Thanks a lot for your big help
My phone does now seem to be running ok, but with a major problem.
The firmware image I have flashed was meant for France (Orange) - and I am from Denmark
I don't understand a single word of french
In order to use the phone, I need to change language on the phone - how will that be possible ?
Afterwards I will try to get rid of all the Orange applications installed on the phone.

[Q] [Resolved] MK2 flash failed. EXT4 error. Import.

Hi there.
I got my Note3 N9005 yesterday, and it had a slight problem : it didn't have cursive recognition for my native langage.
So I decided to get a local firmware for it.
I was in MK1. (JB 4.3 ; Hong Kong version)
I downloaded my local firmware, version MK2, with the XEF product I want.
I launched Odin V3.07. Chose PDA. Didn't check any other boxes. Connected the phone in DL mode.
And "Start".
And I got the following error :

What I understand is that I have an EXT4 partition and that Odin cannot write on it.
Since then, I have used many other versions of Odin, including 1.85 which is supposed to overcome that peculiar problem on the Note 3.
I'm currently downloading MJ7 firmware on Sammobile hoping to try another firmware, and also a Kitkat NC2 version.
Any other idea ? Thanks !
EDIT : may my phone be "region locked", making it impossible to flash a local firmware ?

Ok.
It's been fixed. I downloaded a MK1 HongKong rom and it worked flawlessly.
Tried Factory reset and new flash of XEF rom : fail.
Went back to MK1 TGY. Working.
Will try to see what I can do to bypass this limitation.
Not sure but you might want to check specs of your phone. If I remember correctly, the HK version comes with 16GB whereas the European version with 32GB of internal memory.
This might be the reason that you can only flash HK fw.

Thanks for the warning. However I did check and everything is fine, with 32 Gb of memory, Qualcom processor, 3 gb of ram, etc. ^^
Sorry my bad. I was convinced that the HK version had only 16GB of internal memory.

You are not the only one. Someone else told me that. It happens that Samsung DID make a version for HK with only 16 Gb of memory. But it was just at first. Now, all versions are availble in HK.

N910H stock firmware fail

Hi. I had stock kit kat on my galaxy note 4 which I rooted using CF-Auto-Root which worked. Today I went into SuperSU and pressed the "Full unroot" button in the settings tab, I hit continue and the phone rebooted into a boot loop. I then pulled the battery and booted into twrp recovery. I did a factory reset and booted into odin mode attempted to install stock firmware for my N910H which failed. I tried various ones for the N910H and kept getting this :

[Q] Problems with 4.4.2 in sm-G7105L

Hi, i am new, and noob.
I have this sm-G7105L, i upgraded it to 4.4.2,at first i flash with G7105LUBUBOD1_G7105LCHXBOD1_CHX, and i can not root my cellphone, there is this message from SU "supersu there is no su binary installed and supersu cannot install it. this is a problem". I tryed a lot of things to root it, but no succeed.
Another thing that i was not able to flash the recovery CWM, i tried several times. I start in recovery mode and the cellphone turns into Download Mode, and the message is something like the phone is unable to boot in recovery mode.
Now, i thought that may be we can go back to 4.3, but i did no backup, and my kernel updated too.
Then, i tried to flash this AUT-G7105XXUBNI2-20140926180119 (SWITZELAND), but Odin says
