Thanks in advanced for any answers, but this has been bothering me. Whenever I play music and then connect to an aux port or or headphones the music is still playing through the phone and then to make it play in the headphones or aux I have to disconnect and reconnect from the phone and the headphones or aux port. Also when I plug into aux/ headphones the symbol appears then disappears then I have to unplug everything for it work. So, I am wondering if anyone else has this problem of continuous lost audio connection and a way to fix. Thanks

Ive been using the mogul as an mp3 player for my car. I have an adaptor to plug into the usb connector to which i connect a 2.5 to 3.5 mm jack to my car's aux in jack.
Since the rom update (dcd clean rom, gps, reva) I can't get music to play thru the aux out! I tried making a phone call with the phone connected, and it worked fine. I could hear the person I was calling thru the car stereo speakers. But when I load up an audio app, media player or audio manager, there will be no audio when somthing is playing. as soon as I unplug the usb connector, the music will play from the phone speaker, and will go quiet when I plug it back in. volume is turned up and audio is turned on.
everything else on the phone works fine with the update (gps, reva, tethering, etc...)
Any ideas?
Sorry guys, didnt realize there was a thread already on this. See here:

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew how to activate the microphone while its plugged into the car? I use a 3 in 1 adapter where one of the ports converts it to a headphone jack so I can plug my HTC Herald to my car and listen to music. The problem is that when someone calls me and I answer the phone they dont hear me because the microphone is disabled. I have to unplug the entire connection just to talk at that point and replug it when I'm done. I noticed that my friends Iphone he doesnt have this problem and he just talks to them while having it connected to the car so I'm pretty sure it has to work!
Oh and selecting "Turn Speaker On" is disabled when plugged into the adapter as well.
when ever i plug in a standard stereo jack plug into the headset socket
the phone randomly dials the last call made.
anyone come across this? is there a way i can stop it
i need to be able to play music via my cars aux socket. via a stereo jack lead
I'm seeing some weirdness with my HD2 when I connect the headphone socket to my car's stereo (via an aux in that I have soldered onto my head unit). Basically, as soon as the jack is connected, the phone resets itself and then works perfectly until i disconnect the jack (when it resets again).
I know the connection to the car is OK as I've tried it with other phones and MP3 players, but for some reason, the HD2 doesn't seem to like it.
Possibly worth mentioning that the phone is also connected to the car's handsfree kit via bluetooth, but this doesn't support A2DP so need the headphone output for music. Also, normal headphones seem to be OK, it's just the line in that doesn't appear to like!
Anyone else seen something similar or (even better) have a solution?!
Thanks
Has anyone of you bump into this problem?
When I'm in the car, I connect the audio cable to play music on my phone but when the phone rings, i use the speakerphone function but somehow the other end doesn't hear me at all.
I didn't try anything in particular and would appreciate any solution.
