Audio out (aux out) not working for media - Mogul, XV6800 General

Ive been using the mogul as an mp3 player for my car. I have an adaptor to plug into the usb connector to which i connect a 2.5 to 3.5 mm jack to my car's aux in jack.
Since the rom update (dcd clean rom, gps, reva) I can't get music to play thru the aux out! I tried making a phone call with the phone connected, and it worked fine. I could hear the person I was calling thru the car stereo speakers. But when I load up an audio app, media player or audio manager, there will be no audio when somthing is playing. as soon as I unplug the usb connector, the music will play from the phone speaker, and will go quiet when I plug it back in. volume is turned up and audio is turned on.
everything else on the phone works fine with the update (gps, reva, tethering, etc...)
Any ideas?

Sorry guys, didnt realize there was a thread already on this. See here:

Phone Resets When Headphone Jack Connected

I'm seeing some weirdness with my HD2 when I connect the headphone socket to my car's stereo (via an aux in that I have soldered onto my head unit). Basically, as soon as the jack is connected, the phone resets itself and then works perfectly until i disconnect the jack (when it resets again).
I know the connection to the car is OK as I've tried it with other phones and MP3 players, but for some reason, the HD2 doesn't seem to like it.
Possibly worth mentioning that the phone is also connected to the car's handsfree kit via bluetooth, but this doesn't support A2DP so need the headphone output for music. Also, normal headphones seem to be OK, it's just the line in that doesn't appear to like!
Anyone else seen something similar or (even better) have a solution?!
Thanks

Regular headphones on HD2?

Will a regular earphone work on the HD2. I hate the ones that comes with the unit and would love to use my noise canceling earphones.
I don't care about making calls with the earphones. I just want to listen to the FM radio / music with it.
Since it's got connectors to control the calls, I didn't want to short out my HD2. I searched and found a thread about someone's HD2 reseting everytime the plug in an adapter to the headphone jack. He said it works for other MP3 players, but as soon as he plugs it into the HD2, it resets the Unit and will not function.
i use my ipod earphone to listen to my device
like youtube vids and FM radio
yea, i use sony headphones fine
regular wired headphones will do fine, however i dont know about anyone else, but i can't use the phone mic in calls, i have to unplug the earphones to answer calls.
Okay, thanks. I'm going to give it a shot.

Car stereo + vibrant, what do you use?

Currently, I'm just using the aux port in my sony head. It has a USB port that is "ipod" ready. I connected the vibrant to it and set the usb mode to "media player" and I could play music just fine, but charging was almost nonexistent. It shows that it's charging but the battery percentage did not rise over the course of 30-45 minutes, and it was at approximately 35% when I started. I'm guessing perhaps the usb port isn't supplying enough voltage for charging purposes so I'm trying to find an alternative in the mean time that doesn't require plugging in a separate car charger and the aux audio cable. Has anyone had any luck with using a blue-tooth usb receiver in their stereo and transmit the audio from the phone that way? Just curious what other people are using for setup. Please share!
i just use my 3.5mm aux-in on my car. Works great for me. No charging of course, but I have a short commute.
I have a 2010 Ford with MS Sync installed.
Streaming bluetooth audio works flawlessly, as it did with my G1. You do need to control it on the actual phone, which is a pain because you know, you have to drive and all, but I guess that's how you would do it through a line-in as well (I have USB-in that works with my Zune so I can control my media though my steering wheel and by voice command, so I'm perhaps a bit spoiled)
But anyway, the audio will play fine, and if I get a call, the media player will pause, I can answer and talk, and when the call is ended it resumes the music.
I have a Sony Xplode and use bluetooth to stream music. Work well for the most part but taking calls on it sucks.
I use the aux port and a usb charger for longer commutes.

[Q] Problems when connecting headphones or to Aux port

Thanks in advanced for any answers, but this has been bothering me. Whenever I play music and then connect to an aux port or or headphones the music is still playing through the phone and then to make it play in the headphones or aux I have to disconnect and reconnect from the phone and the headphones or aux port. Also when I plug into aux/ headphones the symbol appears then disappears then I have to unplug everything for it work. So, I am wondering if anyone else has this problem of continuous lost audio connection and a way to fix. Thanks

Radio FM (with jack antena) over bluetooth

Has anyone had succes with listening to the radio fm over bluetooth speakers?
I use a cut down headphone jack as an antena and I can hear it from the speaker, but as soon as I try to use the bluetooth headphones it cuts the sound.
The case is that after some trying i have been able to listen to it over the bluetooth headphones but a restart of the phone (update to miui11) has made it to not work again. It doesn't matter in what order I connect the headphone jack or the bluetooth headphones, it doesn't work.
It even can record the radio while connected to the BT but there is no sound while the redio is ON. Even if I listen to MP3 music as soon as I start the radio it goes muted and as soon as I stop the radio app it starts playing the music again.
I know It can work as it has worked for me in the same phone (9T) and previous phones (redmi 4, and pocophone F1). Usually I had to first connect the jack and then the BT headphones to be able to hear the radio.
Edit: Tried with real headphones and it seems that the radio app will output to the jack headphones every time, even if there is a BT headphone connected.
