[Q] Unable to copy root de le vega files to my phone - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Using a note 3 just clashed the files with oden and when I try and copy the files from the root de le vega folder is will not let me as though I do not have access to my root through windows explorer...I'm sorry this is the first android thus first root for me..

All good I figured out the issue and I wasn't able to drag and drop I needed to physically copy and right click then paste into my root directory...

[Q] Unable to Write Files to Nexus 7 Plz Help

I get an error message saying unable to write file, when try to write files to the System folder.
Can anyone help me out with this Plz?

This is to stop people unwittingly breaking things.
Only play in the system folder if you know what you're doing.
You'll need a file manager with root privileges, the most popular is probably root explorer.

Thanks for that.
What can I do, as Nexus 7 isn't rooted and I just want to add a few notifications to the System directory, to alert me to various emails?
Rooting is easy and reversible if desired. If rooted, you could use ES File Explorer (free) or Root Explorer (costs, but worth it) to make the notification additions.

[Q] ES file explorer or TitaniumBackup can not delete system apps

Hello,
i9500, Stock MJ8, rooted
I just updated to 4.3 MJ8 and want to get rid of some additional system apps.
I run into 2 problems:
1) If I use ES file explorer (Root enabled), I can access the files, but the delete operation fails because "read-only file system", although I can see that read and write is enabled for root. Permissions for the folder are "rwx r-x r-x", the file permissions are "rw- r-- r--". Actually, it shows me that I have read and write permissions on both folder and file but I have no idea how to change them, if necessary.
2) Instead, if I want to delete those system apps with Titanium Backup Pro, I (or better TitaniumBackup) simply does not find them. One example is the system app "InteractiveTutorial.apk". If i enable all filter criteria, TB just does not display, although I can see that it is in the /system/app- folder. This is valid for many other system apps. A support question to TB was not answered.
I checked the search within XDA, but I either get 2900 results or none. TB-website and EStrongs website also didnt help me.
Does anybody of you have a helping hand for me, please?
Kind regards
Your going to need root explorer for that

Thank you. But ES file explorer IS a root explorer
Did you acquire fully root access ? If not,try to flash an Adam kernel(or perseus,up to you).Or maybe you have to update your TB and Es Explorer. Hope it will help u

I know. But root explorer is better and easier when it comes to deleting system apps. I don't think u can delete system apps from es file explorer.

Used another explorer and succeeded. Strange thing: It worked with the old version of ES file explorer but not with the newer 3.x.
Thanks for your help, guys.

Which app are you using and did u check root permission in app?
Edit. Sry root Explorer just read it. Try es file Explorer and check root permission.
Root Explorer Pro is top one, permission is ok.
used NextApp SD fix, still same error
EDIT: found the reason, i was moving some songs, some of them has symbols, renamed those, and managed to move all!!
Stupid Google!(^o^)
