atFolix Fx clear screen protector .
Dry and have a great feel. covers the whole back and front
All wet screen protectors like zaagg or xtreme guard have the same problem.
They reduce the touch response due to rubberry feel. And they get dirty very quickly

Bit late now I know but I always go for Spigen screen protectors, used one on my GS3 for months and it was fantastic. Not a mark on it.
I got these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00A0721CS/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1362436750&sr=8-1&pi=SL75
Cheap & resilient. They have a matte finish which takes a little getting used to, but I've got to like it over the last while (well I've kept them on anyway!)
Quick delivery from Germany to Ireland (anywhere in the EU I guess)

Cheap and cheerful, does the job. Fit is fine. Doesnt cover the full screen, upto the point where the screen slants. And doesnt have cutouts for the proximity sensor. But it fits fine, hasnt fallen off yet (had it on a week now) and for the price I cant complain. Its matte and stops finger prints/grease which is what I wanted.
I'd go for the Zagg Invisible Shield.. They have been by far the best screen protectors I have used on my phones in recent years. With a lifetime Warranty and excellent customer service. Yeah its £15 and maybe a couple £ for shipping but in my experience I (touch wood) have never had any issue with them!
Has anyone ever ordered and received a Nexus 7 screen and digitizer assembly unit from them? I cracked my screen today rendering my device useless and ordered a replacement from them. I am curious to know if they are legit.

Hey all,
My Nexus 4 recently had a run in with some concrete and I've shattered both the front glass and the back glass on the phone. I've lost touch response below the crack running horizontally across the screen.
I'm assuming I not only need both faces of glass, as well as a new LCD to recover touch response in that area. Does anybody happen to know a good place to get parts for it? (read also: as cheap as possible without getting a garbage product)
EBay.... I bought my screen for about $90 it was the real one and high quality

Did it include the glass and replacement screen?

Today my dad's nexus fell face down on ceramic and the screen broke, the screen turns on fine but from about the bottom half of the screen doesn't work.
The phone is rooted but he bought it in July so its still on warranty
Should I send it to Google for fixing in my coming trip to USA or should I buy a replacement and fix it myself?

I don't think Google will fix it under warranty. You will probably have to pay.

Here it is

I don't think the warranty covers physical damage. You'll be better off getting a new screen from ebay and replacing it yourself.
So my wife dropped her phone...screen isn't cracked, I've got her using my old note 4 for now, but wanted opinions on what is going on and whether I can fix it or not.
Thanks!

The display ribbon cable might have gotten dislodged. Google ifixit. There should be a guide on how to open the device. See if you can re-attach the ribbon cable.

Cool, that's what I was thinking too, I'll give it a shot.

I had something similar happen. OLED screens can have this "bleeding" effect when dropped. Mine started off fine after a drop and progressed to unusable like that. I ordered a repair kit and a screen with frame and did the replacement myself. Just look on Amazon and make sure you get one that says it's made for our model: the frames are slightly different and the cable to connect the buttons near the bottom of the screen connects to a different place on the strip on the side. These words make more sense looking at the inside of the phone ;P
