Phone always shutsdown because of the battery - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

When I use my phone normally always when the battery quantity down to %60's or below, automaticlly says "there's no battery left, please plug in"
and shutsdown, when I try to re-open it, when its oppened starts with %1 battery and shutsdown again :crying:
It started on AOSP, and this problem even continues with stock ROM (odin not working) and other ROM's...
What should I do?
Note: My battery does not fit properly into the case

Battery calibration: for good battery life

Battery calibration is simply done by running it down completely until the phone shuts off by itself...
Then remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, insert again, repeat...
If the phone shuts off again in less than a few minutes you're done.
Now remove battery and hold power button for 1minute.then insert battery.dont switch on the phone. plug the charger and recharge the battery fully until the green light is on...
then remove battery, hold power button for few seconds, insert it and switch on the phone...
yes its done......
do this initially once in 3-4months when the phone is new.then ince a month after a year to gain maximum battery performance...
REMEMBER THIS WILL NOT DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE YOUR BATTERY LIFE....
BUT THIS WILL SAVES YOUR NEW ONE TO BE DEAD BEFORE AGE
DONT EXPECT MORE FOR ALREADY SWOLLEN OR DIED BATTERY...
no one is interested to test it?
tested, working fine, but i haven't impoved battery life, and also my battery works same as first day. I recommend to use this on all types of batteries LiIon, NiCd etc...

yupz... u're right bro...
i am a flashing junkies and i always do this after flashing to WM 6.5 ROM.
last nite i've just flashing Onyx 5.1.1 ROM (the fastest WM6.5 ROM i felt) . well.. as expected from every WM6.5... battery drain veeeerry Fast!
i just use it normally till switched off on it's own. then charge the battery (while my elfin still turned off) and...
voila....
from 08 pm last nigt till 12.00 am today, it's only consumed 10%!!!
WOW!!!
in fact, i use G-alarm (which usually drain my battery faster in WM6.5).
and this morning, it's need 30 minutes my G-alarm ringing to woke me up.
YES I WANT THAT ALL MEMBER SHOULD TRY THIS AND GIVE THEIR FEEDBACK..

this is called "POWER CYCLING"....when u hold your power button for a while when no battery inside it drain your backup battery which resposible for your device to remember date, time etc.....
after doing this all the power from the device will be gone....
after that u can do the procedure otherwise it will not gives u good results..
i have tested it myself
It works fine for me!
Now battery drain is proportional to the usage and for sure battery life is longer

[PROBLEM] Battery gives wrong info. Even battery calliberation Doesnt work

Hello...
I am now on stock XXJPM.
I was on Kyrollis and have changed a lot of roms.
Ok... so my battery is having an error.
Once i plug in my charger within 2 minutes it says 100%. And once plugged out it says 5%. WTF is it ?
I had flashed XXJPM twice and removed both my sd and sim card.
idk whats the problem.
Even tried battery calliberation when it was 100% and in a couple of seconds it went back to 5%.
Plz help me guys.
May be you discharged battery to much and damage a safety chipset on battery.
It may happened too with to high battery temperature.
Anyway how long phone may work on that 5%? Did you make data wipe?
And you aren't able to check rom/phone with other battery?

ok try this...
1) Discharge battery completely...try switching on the phone even with 0 battery...it may just switch on and then switch off automatically, do this until it becomes completely dead..
2) Start Charging with phone switched off...let it charge for like 2 hours i say...even if it shows full battery in that charging animation.
3) Switch ON...use battery calibration, without 100% also do it...
4) Restart Phone and let it charge till 100%...
5) Should work then...if still then flash, DDJG6 eclair and update via kies...then take it to samsung center

[Q] [H] i9500 Battery instantly to 0

Hello friends,
MY i9500 international edition has been having this problem for several months now. I have flashed about 3 or 4 ROMs and the result is always the same. I charge to 100%.. use for little while and then I do something like open the Camera, or xyz app and BOOM the screen goes black, upon rebooting the low battery popup appears. The phone will heat up during this process. Sometimes, removing the battery and rebooting acts as a temporary fix. The battery percentage reappears at a higher number and I can use the phone.. But, then the phone rings or I try to reply to a text message and BOOm screen goes black, etc..
currently using 4.4.2, kernel 4.3.5-CM-gbe05dd6 (SuperNexus ROM)
help!

Perhaps a battery problem? Try replacing the battery. Or borrowing first, at least.
cheers ~

well bro do you see the golden plates on your battery? So these pins might get damaged while flashing not every tym but it happens. Replace your battery or just sit and caliberate the battery which of no use.All the best.

[Q] LG G2 D802 battery problem after getting overheated

Hi all,
I would like to ask you(with better skills than me) something about my LG device. Once I got up after listening to music my device was approximately 42celsius degrees and i had to turn it off for 30 mins to get it on a normal temperature. After that I realized my device battery is draining so fast. I don't know why....my idea is that: because of the high temperature or it's a software bug. I plug my phone off at 6:30am and after using it a little I only have maximum 20% at 4:00pm. I'm using Alegen's 5.0.1 rom and all the people who use it said they haven't got a problem like me. I downloaded CPUz and it says my battery life is good. So please help me because I don't know what to do.
Sorry about my English.
42 is a verry low temp. My G2 have 45 in idle, doing nothing. Dont worry, there is no pb with battery

Thanks for your answer but what should I do with my battery draining? I'm using it on a very low brightness and wifi is turned off,etc...
Make a nandroid backup and then try reflashing to stock after a full battery charge. Use the phone until 5-2% and then fully charge it. Then use as normal and see if it helps. If that hasnt helped it could be battery issues.
Also when the phone heats up is it near the top beside the camera?

Maybe you have some apps which keeps your device awake, try with another rom/kernel kombination (dont use 5.0 roms to test battery as battery is better on stock based roms)

99% of the time this is the case - a rogue app running, or one of its services, keeping the phone awake and running in the background.
OP, try this: reset the phone to factory settings, restart it and then just leave it like that for 30 minutes or so. Don't even enter your SIM PIN or anything. If the phone is still heating up, the unit is defective and requires service (it is not impossible that the battery is shorting out somewhere somehow).

Under factory reset you mean I have to backup the original LG software or my lollipop rom is good?
No, just try resetting to factory defaults (obviously, back up everything important), you can do it either through the menu or the recovery.
