Has anyone tried marvin zx emululator, when I run marvin though the ouya (make) it just exits. When I run it though the play store it works fine,
am I doing something wrong? as anybody else tried this, it was installed though the play market and is free any ideas thanks
It probably needs some frameworks that are only availble through the Play Store app.

I downloaded Zenonia 2 and Spider-Man Total Mayhem from V-Cast, but when I slide my phone open and the Xperia Play App launches, they don't show up in here. They are advertised in the app, but don't show up here when I have them. They show up with the rest of my apps and work, but I feel like they should also be in the Play App. Is there a reason for this? Can I change it?
clear the cache in app settings then reboot that mite help
No cache to clear in the app... plus I also downloaded Assassins Creed at the same time and that one shows up properly in the app...
have u updated the play app on andriod market mate ?
uh, when I go to the android market, it isn't listed with the rest of my programs that need updates
usually happens when you download games which are meant for other phones..
is the gamepad working on those games?
The D pad and such work for them, not the touch sensors. I would think it was the right game for the Play... since I clicked on the Ad for the game when it popped up in the Xperia Play app, then I downloaded the game from the link it provided

It wont pop up saying it needs updating. Well mine didnt. If you have not updated it since you have had the phone just search xperia play and the game launcher will come up on the market to download/update. It depends on the game developer as well. Doodle Jump which does not use the gamepad shows up in my launcher but other games that use the gamepad dont.
Downloaded and updated the Xperia Play App, still no change. I could kind of understand some games not being supported, but it would be weird if that were the case here, since the same app is advertising them in a way that looks almost identical to "games you own" section.

Older games which used Joysticks and Dpads on resistive screen devices will use the XPlay DPad as well.
Just gonna bump my thread incase anyone else has a clue to fix this issue
Spiderman didn't show up for me until I updated the Play app.
Already Updated my play app T.T

I'd guess since you don't know what DPI is, we can be pretty safe that you haven't changed it. However, you can change it by going to /system/build.prop with a root enabled file explorer and navigate to where it says LCD density and change it to 240. I think there are also some apps on the market which allow you to do this anyway, I know that ROM Toolbox has a build.prop editor built in. I've just logged into the market with my account and it says the app is compatible with my 'O2 HTC NexusHD2' and my Desire S.
Thanks for helping out, but my build.prop already says:
ro.sf.lcd_density=240
Google play store recognises the device as Vodafone HTC HD2; I tried Angry Birds and that was compatible.
Any further tips?
Sometimes when it says "not compatible", i download the apk on the web and it works (for free games as megajump (for example), the apk installs and the game works)
Did you try using market enabler?
You can also try going into Setting > applications > manage applications > all and clear the market data
EDIT: says its compatible with both my ancient Touch Pro 2 and HD2. So im sure a market wipe will work.

I've been working on this for a week now. It seems to me that you will have to root your phone if you reaally want google play. I still haven't got it working but there are several dependent apps that you'll need like Google Services Framework and
Google Play services. Some of the dependent apps will need to run as system apps, Well, that's where I am in this puzzle with a sm g5308w.
Let me know if you find the complete answer...
Hello guys, so i was reading (and watching samples) that Google Camera app improve photos/videos drastically and i read that u need root your phone and change some build file and blabla but then i found that i can actually download the app normally from the play store (which is this one): ht tps://play.goo gle.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera
So my question is, it will work perfectly just downloading it officially from the Play Store or i need to make this "port"? If yes why and what is the difference?
Thanks very much guys!
Cheers
Well why not try it and advise people here of the outcome. What do you have to lose?
