Hi guys ,
I wrote a small tutorial to teach you how to change your xperia play so that it can serve you as the latest nvidia comes out.
With help to the free application available in PlayStore Splashtop, you can stream everywhere in your house and a bit more around your pc. The screen of your pc IS now the screen of your XPlay. No lag or what.
Now, you can simply taping your Xperia Play to an Xbox 360 Controller like :

I will post pictures of my XPlay because in this one it's HTC phone
The Xbox Controller controls YOUR PC not your XPlay, so when you play with, it controls your pc game simply.

well yes, but i dont think u understand what im tryin to get at, this "Project Ghetto Shield" they used Splashtop to View the pc and then they used an xbox controller to control the pc, however why would that be usefull for us XP Users, we have a game pad, so what we need is app to view the pc while also mapping hardware keys (like dpad and x, ill be fine without touchpads if i hav to...) to like WASD and Space and etc for PC gaming otg, like the Shield does, and GameKeyboard is an app to map xp buttons to onscreen buttons,

I started using PocketDos First, its the demo/trial version. I am trying to play either version 1 or 2 of the classic dos game "street rod" by california dreams. I have pocketdos loaded, the nag screen clears and then i execute SR to open the game. I get a choce of video options, ega, cga, vga etc. I use vga as its the only choice that semi works. Game loads up just fine and looks great. Sound works too! 2 problems. First the mouse doesent calibrate properly. I have tried to recalibrate the mouse from the menu and it works for roughly 3 clicks or so and the mouse is then uncalibrated again and off by quite alot. Secondly and most importantly, once you exit your garage to either head to the burger joint to race, or the gas station to fill up. the graphics from the inside view of the car are all glitchy. from the top of the dash and up(windshield) looks fine, but below the dash, all the gauges, steering wheel, and shifter console are displaying strange blinking graphics. Basically you cannot drive a vehicle because of this graphics issue. When your in the garage everything works great! any ideas as to why the graphics would glitch while driving? I have a post on a forum where the pocketdos tech support is...but they are not very willing to help. I have also tried a couple other emulators listed in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1276884
however i either couldnt figure out how to configure the emulator, or once i got the game loaded the Mouse didnt work at all and i couldnt navigate thru the game.
Here is the link to the forum where i was asking for help from the pocketdos admins
http://forums.pocketpcfaq.com/viewtopic.php?t=19883
And here are a couple screenshots of the game running on my advantage..the last two shots show what the graphics are doing when i try to drive....if you have any advice, please let me know. And these screenshots are from POCKETDOS, walls port i cannot get the mouse to click, so i'm currently only able to use this emulator, pocketdos.

I am now trying walls port pDOSBox2.0. I get the game to load, everything seems to be ok, i can see the mouse in game, but when i click...nothing happens..the pointer isnt registering the clicks in game..any ideas if I am going to use this port? I just want to be able to play this retro game on my advantage! Thanks for your help
and just so everyone knows the game works perfectly on a windows machine..so its not something wrong with the game itself
I know its kinda a tough question, as its probably got to be answered by a person with PocketDos experience....I know your out there somewhere oh wise pocketdos person
on a side note..anyone else ever play either of the two dos games back in the day?
nobody out there has experience with pocketdos?
Well here is my response from the pocketdos support:
Dear Sir,
It appears as if this software is using a hardware feature of the EGA/VGA chipset which is not supported by PocketDOS. Unfortunately, this feature is non-trivial to implement in PocketDOS, and is used by very few software titles as it is not even supported by all VGA chipsets. In short, there is no way to run this software correctly under PocketDOS.
Thank you for your interest.

To change the PSN-ID's you have to edit 5 HTML-files: index.html / contact2.html /contact3.html/ contact4.html / contact5.html
You can find these in the programfiles/panels/Playstation_Trophy_Panel/ -directory.
Make your own card by registering at http://playstation.com
is the id card the same as my ps3 account?

Haha, naah! I would still L O V E a xbox panel, and I think a lot more people would love one too
an xbox panel would be cool too. The Playstation one is a little small.cant really read what it all says. And in portrait view, half of the screen is left blank. Would also be nice if you could tell if a person was online with it. (or maybe you already can and I just dont know how?)
Anyway, dont mean to be such a critic, I like the panel. I just think it could be optimized a little.

Unfortunatly it is not possible I think. Xbox360 works with these kind of camecards : Example
The problem is that these are not simple images, but a webpage. I could make a panel that redirects to this page, but by tapping the screen you will be redirected to another page and it is not possible to return to the card.
If there are gamercard-images for the Xbox360 please let me know...

Yes I guess your right. But thanks for even thinking of it and looking in to it!
I don't know if there is some kind of solution to the problem, but not that I can think of.
Thanks once again

It's only HTML so you are a little limited: you cannot make 2 different pages for landscape or portrait mode: it is the same page.
This panel is made to be used in landscape-mode.
It only shows the Playstation Cards, nothing else...
Under One Panel
If it only show the ps3 cards why not join it with other consoles eg xbox360, to make it all under one panel...just a suggestion
Thanks alot for this panel.
i play cod4, pro evo 8, and fifa 09 alot add me if u want a thrashing

Can anyone pick up where the developer of aDosbox left off? There hasn't been any work on this project in forever and it's truely an awesome application that is pretty close to fully working.
It's open source and is available at http://code.google.com/p/adosbox/
Current need additions and changes:
Correct the Key inputs on the Virtual Keyboard.
Add full 101-key support so that F-keys are emulated and arrow keys.
Add support for controller device configuration (ie, map joystick buttons to keyboard keys as a visual representation on touch screen.)
Audio + Midi support.
Mouse emulation Support in running programs.
Speed Optimizations. (perhaps a compile with GCC to make it faster?)
Anyone think they can take this kind of challenge?
I'd already be working on it if I had enough programming background experience.

Oh man, I'd love to be able to play Master of Orion and Master of Magic (and tons of others I'm sure) on my new Android!
I've already been able to completely get into the Star Control II original PC game. Just can't control the ship once I'm in game. :/ Damned Virtual Keyboard needs correct key support and additional key support.
Able to completely run Dune II on aDosbox. Figured out the mouse support. However still no sound support, and it runs a bit slow. But for a first release and it works without a hitch, that's pretty amazing. Someone really needs to continue the support off the open source code.

question
i installed borland c 3.1 on the dosbox, the problem is i can't find alt key or mouse click key to use it on my HTC Desire, anyone has any idea?
I've only found this thread from the developer.
It's from April 2011 so quite a time ago.
I've posted some comments there for the 0.2x version.
However the dev works on the project, here you can download the last one (curently it's 0.2.5 WGA 480/800 from may 2011).
For some reason:
- the dev has not shown up from that time on xda forum.
- there is no feedback on users comments concerning bugs and other issues
- THERE IS NO HELP FOR MAKING GOOD SETTINGS (ESPECIALLY MOUSE EMULATION AND SO ON) ANYWHERE. EVEN ON THE PROJECT PAGE.
I love this work. I keep thumbs for it.
However the communication sucks.
Oh. And here you've got a link for adosbox for G2/Desire Z.

It's running inside my old Debian chroot I've migrated from my old Mytouch 3G and Cliq.
It uses a VNC server with geometry 800x480, TWM window manager, and DOSBOX with a config file disabling scancodes, scaler=none, and all audio disabled.
Runs quite well. I haven't tried anything particularly demanding yet, but Moraff's Revenge, some old SSI gold box games, and various Ultima games play just fine.
The Swype keyboard is a GODSEND for emulation on this device. the cursor key input mode is PERFECT for MS-DOS games.
That's awesome. Haven't touched linux in Android since I played around with it back on my G1. Any tutorials you'd recommend?
If any X-Com or UFO games run nicely, I will never get anything done ever again. Officially.
Can you post the source for this?
i doubt it would run and if it did, probably not very well but i saw dosbox and suddenly thought about m.u.g.e.n. it ran on dos back in the day, i remember wasting countless hour setting up mugen with various characters and such
Sorry everyone, forgot about this thread.
An update: The mouse is seriously messed up; any game that relies on mouse input is basically unusable. Not sure if there's a work around for it. It's also fairly slow, but that's not all that surprising considering this is a cellphone.
I'll try to type up a decent how-to this afternoon.
Games I've run:
Dungeon Master
Ultima Underworld
Ultima 0 - 5
Legacy of the Ancients
Just about all of the SSI gold box games
Telengard
Hi, great job, but please post the how-to...thankyou!

Yes Please! I have an old DOS calculator that's critical for my job, I'd love to be able to run it on my Vibrant and Tab. Then I could finally get rid of the old XP laptop I have to hang on to JUST for this 1 program. (Can't get it to run on my Win7 machines).
Wich keys do you use for ctrl and alt?

Virtual Gamepad
https://www.youtube.com/embed/bvWmEMKOuyo
This feature lets you configure and layout your own Virtual Controller. You can move and re-size buttons, configure a joystick or gamepad and label your controls. It supports most of games and software in windowed mode by simulating different kinds of keyboard operations like shortcuts, joysticks and mouse click, etc.
Therefore, you can use it to play FPS games like Call of Duty, Minecraft or other Emulator games including PPSSPP.
Virtual Mouse
https://www.youtube.com/embed/rEeYTdbYoq4
Users can precisely control the mouse pointer on touch screen, just like using the touchpad on laptop. So it is so convenient that you control the windows program by touching the screen without real mouse, like doing efficient document work.
Video Assistant
https://www.youtube.com/embed/JTFOIUFp_wc
This function can let users control most of the video players by providing fast forward, backward, screen lock and light control and volume control with simple gestures, etc.
Night Mode
https://www.youtube.com/embed/y_F4D91CR5U
This feature provides users with customized transparent keyboard. And it can allow users to navigate IE browser in night mode and lower the lightness of the screen beyond the system Configuration.
