Hello,
I9505 here with Samsung rom 4.2.2
I have downloaded several apps now and the all apps list is a mess.
I can't believe I can't organize them in folders. How to do it?
I mean I can have folders on the home screen, but I need on the all apps list screen.
Sorry for the question but I did not find answer elsewhere.Thanks.

Hi,
i have problems with my 2 months old tablet.
First big problem is that i cant install certain apps, its random
when i download and it try to install from market it says "cant install the software on to the standard installation place" its translated from swedish, im no expert on english.
But when i install from the pjone it just say that it couldnt be installed.
Some apps that i had i could use but if i unistalled them and try to install it didnt work.
Second problem is that i cant find system files, when i go to "my files"
i know im on internal sd and there is a folder named "external_sd" dunno howmuch space but i cant move so mcu into it.
Need to take away music.apkbut cant find it with a file explorer app that shows hidden files.
3th problem i have is not so big, but since a unistalled several apps its hmm how can i describe it, you have the app place where all apps are, its 20 on each page but now its 12 on one and. 7 on another and 19 and 16 etc, thr apps is gone but it hasnt been organised so its 20 on each page.
And 4th are more of a question, why does message shows up on "active programs"
it should exit when you leave it like phone and other integrated apps.
Where are Metro Apps Installed. I know there is a folder in Program Files\WindowsApps but Are they User related or System Related? Or they are like Preinstalled and get installed on new account creation?
Also I see a lot of folder of the same Apps with different versions. Is it safe to remove older versions (folders)?

Apps are indeed placed in "Program Files\WindowsApps"(all apps) I have removed the older versions with no noticable issues. To delete a current App, simply flick up on the app tile, (be it on the start menu, or in all apps) and select "uninstall". Note that this will only uninstall the latest version of the app. You will still have to go to "Program Files\WindowsApps" to delete any prior versions.
Ok with that, thanks. But I uninstalled and want them back, how can I reinstalled without Store? BTW I'm using PC, not tablet.
Sent from Sony Xperia Live with Walkman
Ummm... you can't reinstall them without the Store. The store is how you install apps... that's the point of it.

OK, and why the heck the older versions are leftover? they use unnecessary space.
The original versions of the built-in apps persist so that any newly-created user accounts will be able to install those apps. Additionally, if you already have multiple user accounts on your system, but they have different versions of an app installed (for example, because they were never updated on the other accounts), the leftover versions will be present as well. There may be some other circumstances where old app versions stick around, too... it's not fully understood. Bear in mind that sometimes empty folders will stick around, consuming trivial space but appearing at a glance to indicate entire apps left behind.
Mind you, this has all been discussed before. Please search before posting.
Hey All,
we got 2 Note 3 (9005) at home - both are rooted with Vega method on stock MJ3 + wanam xposed
I've noticed that in the "Application Panel" (don't know the suitable name in english), when creating a folder to place the apps icons in it (one folder for all the rooted stuff for example), this is fine until next reboot.
Next reboot, is emptying the folders... so all "moved" icons are back with all the other applications. The folders remain but they are empty.
Anyone has this behavior as well ?
Note that this does not occur for Home screens... strangely, desktops folders remain with their shortcuts in them.
wondering if this is coming from MJ3
Cheers
it's because of bad rooting
what do you mean with "bad rooting" ?
Everything went fine when I rooted the device
Hey guys, I just want to ask these couple of questions:
1. I want to download an apk from an unknown source (not from google play). Given if it has a backdoor or something in it, will it be removed after I uninstalled it?
2. Is there a way to know if the application is backdoored or not before installing to my device?
3. Is there some applications that automatically blocks an app if it access for example my contacts, gallery or emails?
4. Are there apps that on the permission screens, all are not listed? Let's say on the permission popout only access to gallery is shown but the app can access my messages. Is it possible?
Thanks for the response guys.
I have a Galaxy s4 i9505. Android 4.3 unrooted.
Hi Guys. Anybody can send to me list these System's Applications may delete safe.

You could search the general forum. There are at least two different threads with lists of apps safe to remove.
