What did you do to fix it?
Probably went into Messaging > Settings > Vibrate
So I just upgraded to official gb using method 2 from rooted stock group and now when I get a text message on gb, I get nothingin the notification bar and no led light or vibration.
So his can I fix this? And I use the stock messaging app if that helps.
Thanks!

Open the messenger and press the options button.
On the bottom is "Display messages notifications in status" on?
Yeah that's the first thing I checked and it's on. Any other ideas?

Try a different text messaging app. Gosms would be my recommendation
Not sure if it's me or what but whenever I receive a MMS I don't get a notification. I've checked all the settings and everything looks fine. I get notifications on regular text messages. Any ideas?

why is it that adding emojis automatically converts a txt message into a multimedia message? i literally have to turn data on to send one message with an emoji. ive used a nexus 5 before and it didnt convert txt messages with emojis into miltimedia msgs.

Hi does anyone know what I can do to fix my text messages that are coming in out of sync. If I send a message then the one I receive is being put ontop of my original message and its putting them in different places in the text
