Hello Everyone,
We all know Crysis and how it busts most PC configs, just wanted to know that is there any Android game out there which make I9500 or I9505 stress out. Or at least the I9505. Thanks.

HI there folks,
I am a newborn noob here. Would like to introduce myself.
I have recently bought the first Android device I have ever owned which is the i9500 Octa Core and I am loving it, I have found that Android is 100000000000x999 times better than any other mobile operating system and so I have a huge interest in it. Have been reading about it for a month now and I want to many things to my device but unfortunately can't because the i9500 does not get much love, especially here in South Africa, where Samsung can't even provide us with the latest firmware update.
I really want to root & flash my phone however I don't want to Void my warranty and I know that the Triangle Away app can remove the flash counter however it does not support i9500 Octa yet...
I am an experienced Graphic Designer, have been doing it for 5 years using Photoshop and sometimes CorelDraw, so if anyone would like me to help out with designs for their applications, I don't mind helping out.
I have a lot of knowledge about Computers and Cellphones however not enough about Linux based systems, that is why I am here, to learn, learn and learn.
Also I wanted to ask if I can put Google Stock Android OS 4.2 or 4.3 on my i9500 Octa instead of using Samsung's crappy TouchWiz? Is it possible?

If you wanted a lot of developer love (and namely AOSP love) you should have looked into buying/importing an i9505. Sad, but true. DocRambone has successfully ported the Google stock android OS to the i9500 but is fighting bugs. Though the CM team has announced that they've (or one of them at least) gotten an i9500 and will get CM on it.
It's basically like this:
AOSP love = Qualcomm equipped phones or Nexuses
Of course exynos phones can have AOSP love as well, however since there isn't much reference out for the exynos chip (not a single shred of documentation or useful source), getting AOSP to those devices will be hard. The Nexus 10 tablet has exynos 5, though, but it's a different chipset than the one in the Octa S4. Exynos 5250 is the N10 and 5410 in the S4 and both use very different GPU's.
Hello guys, good night, how are you?
I'm currently planning on getting the Galaxy S4 I9505 but I was wondering about some things regarding the model. I'm a little bit new to the Android experience (I only had one smartphone until now, and was the Xperia Mini) and wanted to know if you guys could help me.
I am sorry if I am just at the wrong space and if there are a topic that already cover these questions, I will just read it with no problem.
Let's go:
1. I am tempted to get it transformed to the Google Play Edition, are there any way to transform it "totally", I mean, like if it was bought directly from the Google Play Store, with the original ROM and getting further upgrades via OTA?
2. I saw in some reviews that the App Menu Button on S4 is at the last position at the right side. Can I move it to the center?
3. How big it really is, and is it a problem? Could you guys give me a simple overview regarding it?
4. I saw some news around a new model released by Samsung, which comes equipped with the Snapdragon 800. If there is a way to totally transform the 9505 to the Google Play Edition as original, can we expect the same for this new model, or we can't just say that yet? I am asking this mostly because perhaps it would be best to wait for this new model (but we don't know if Samsung will release an International version), but the possibility to install the Google Play Edition on the 9505 is a huge driver actually, as the pure Android experience seems to be very, very good.
5. How "future proof" is the S4 when talking about games, as it sports a Full HD screen? That screen and the model specs are sure fantastic, but won't a Full HD screen demand much more from the GPU in the future, with newer and heavier games being released? Does it perform well today? By the way, can we change the resolution of the games on Android?
Guys, I appreciate a lot the help, thank you! :good:
Guys, I'm sorry, it seems I just made a mistake and posted a thread in the wrong section, It was meant to be on the Q&A Forum.
Could you guys delete this thread?
Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

Hello here I found this amazing clone S4 , with almost all the functions of original S4 , but the processor is mt 6589 , also the RAM is only 1gb ROM is 4GB only .But the important thing is in the phone it shows quite higher data than the real .So I wanna know is there anybody , can tell me
how to correct the wrong data in right way , I wanna it shows mt 6589 and somethings like this way but not random things not real .If anyone can help pls kindly contact me .
better be careful with those worthless imitations, cheaply made, and they do not have the same hardware.
Wrong forum, this is the galaxy s4 forum, not the goophone or some other knock off phone forum. Any answers you get here could brick your phone!
is it possible for anyone to port windows rt on i9500
You should. I'm sure two or three people would love you for it.

Personally i would opt for the i9505 as it has more developers supporting it so if you want to flash a rom it's a lot easier than with a i9500
Just my opinion

well it depend on your usage..and if your network got LTE why don't you try i9505..for android smartphone you don't need to worry about sound quality because they got plenty of mod that you can use.
I do not know which is better

I know but modifications are helpless if hardware is weak ( Hexagon QDSP6V4 vs wolfson dac: Confused unfortunately, I have no comparison
I have seen the number of custom rom on i9500 and in my opinion it is sufficient

guys which one is jflte and jfltexx for i9505 and all roms for one of them will work in the other ...i mean same zip file can be flash in both of them withou hard brick ....thanks
I would agree with Poroto!
Go for I9505. I have the I9500 and really struggled to get a decent ROM for that. Before this, I was using thd S3 I9300 which has a very good ecosystem of custom ROMs.
Hope this helps! Cheers!

Choose s4 i9505 for its vast ROM support. You can also easily find solutions to your problems because there are more users of i9505 than i9500
