is it possible for anyone to port windows rt on i9500
You should. I'm sure two or three people would love you for it.

Has anyone heard if, or tried for that matter to run, android on WP7 phones? I am fairly new to windows phones, but heard that they all could run android. Now that I am thinking about this, I have only seen it run on HTC devices. I am thinking of getting the focus tomorrow OR getting a telstra HD2, on which I know android works.
Why not just buy a new phone that already comes with Android? The DesireHD or something like that?
I want a phone with both, You know that 2 birds one stone thingy
Ah right
HTC HD2 is probably such a phone to support 2 versions of Windows OS as well as Android.
Windows phone 7 devices cannot run android yet, Windows mobile quite a few devices will have android ports.
Focus is windows phone 7, HD2 is Windows mobile 6.5
(there is a huge difference between windows phone and windows mobile)
Hello Everyone,
We all know Crysis and how it busts most PC configs, just wanted to know that is there any Android game out there which make I9500 or I9505 stress out. Or at least the I9505. Thanks.
HI there folks,
I am a newborn noob here. Would like to introduce myself.
I have recently bought the first Android device I have ever owned which is the i9500 Octa Core and I am loving it, I have found that Android is 100000000000x999 times better than any other mobile operating system and so I have a huge interest in it. Have been reading about it for a month now and I want to many things to my device but unfortunately can't because the i9500 does not get much love, especially here in South Africa, where Samsung can't even provide us with the latest firmware update.
I really want to root & flash my phone however I don't want to Void my warranty and I know that the Triangle Away app can remove the flash counter however it does not support i9500 Octa yet...
I am an experienced Graphic Designer, have been doing it for 5 years using Photoshop and sometimes CorelDraw, so if anyone would like me to help out with designs for their applications, I don't mind helping out.
I have a lot of knowledge about Computers and Cellphones however not enough about Linux based systems, that is why I am here, to learn, learn and learn.
Also I wanted to ask if I can put Google Stock Android OS 4.2 or 4.3 on my i9500 Octa instead of using Samsung's crappy TouchWiz? Is it possible?

If you wanted a lot of developer love (and namely AOSP love) you should have looked into buying/importing an i9505. Sad, but true. DocRambone has successfully ported the Google stock android OS to the i9500 but is fighting bugs. Though the CM team has announced that they've (or one of them at least) gotten an i9500 and will get CM on it.
It's basically like this:
AOSP love = Qualcomm equipped phones or Nexuses
Of course exynos phones can have AOSP love as well, however since there isn't much reference out for the exynos chip (not a single shred of documentation or useful source), getting AOSP to those devices will be hard. The Nexus 10 tablet has exynos 5, though, but it's a different chipset than the one in the Octa S4. Exynos 5250 is the N10 and 5410 in the S4 and both use very different GPU's.
Hi all,
I'm considering buying a Note 3 through sprint, but I want to see if it will be compatible with what I want to do. The goal is to get Aroma Installer running and be able to dual-boot Ubuntu Touch when it's released. However, I want to do this without losing any of the S Pen or Galaxy Gear Smartwatch communication. Does anyone know if what I want to do is possible or even plausible?
I realize the phone pretty much just came out and Ubuntu Touch isn't out except as a dev preview, so I know the odds of someone having the exact correct answer is slim. But I'd be interested to know what people do know.
HI guys,
Newb here, My dad has been using a samsung omnia gt I900 for some years, ive been trying to convrt him to android and now wondering in with all the advances if it is possible to put an android OS on a microsoft phone. I might regret asking this question but taught i would give it a go , as you developers are coming up with some amazing sh*t these days.
:good:
Nothing is impossible but the important factor is reality. I'm not an expert but I know when you port a new OS you need to write drivers and programs to control the underlying hardware. This is especially difficult if you are unrelated to the phone manufacturer.
So no you won't be able to change the phone to Android.
Remember everyone is different, especially across age groups. You should chat to your dad and find out what he likes and doesn't like about the Omnia. If he really likes certain things about Windows, have a look at upgrading him to a newer WP8 model; it has many more features and he'd get an upgrade to WP10 too. However maybe he would like testing out an Android or iPhone. Go to a phone store sometime with him
