Can anyone tell me how to automatically sync pix that I've taken on my Nexus 4 so that they automatically appear in one of the galleries on my Nexus 10?
I assumed that I had to use Picasa but that seems to have vanished from the sync list in the Google account!
Just turn on sync in accounts in settings.

Lol, if only it were that simple! I turned on Sync Photos on both the phone and the tablet and nothing happens.

Use the Google+ auto backup feature and have it enabled on both your phone and tablet. I use that to sync photos from my nexus 4 to my nexus 7. Once the backup is set up it should appear automatically in the gallery of both devices. Hope this helps.

Now I'm noticing that an address for an appointment in the Calendar is underlined and I can open the address in Maps or Sygic or Glympse.
Is this new or did I just miss it before?
It's something I wanted for sure.
Using 4.1.2. I think the Calendar app was upgraded recently.

can I Sync Music with Nexus 4 like one can do with their iPhone and iTunes?
I would prefer it to be wireless sync
Play music from the app store, and download Google music manger on PC or use play music chrome browser app. It is goggles cloud based music service

Oh I bought Wifi Explorer Pro instead. More convienent. And only a buck
Double twist also syncs with iTunes. The free version needs to be plugged into your computer, but the paid version can sync over Wi-Fi.

Winamp can do wireless sync. You need Winamp both on desktop and phone.

But does it work with nexus? I know AirSync for DoubleTwist works great, because I am using it... On the other hand USB probably doesnt work with nexus phones, does it?

E.g pictures from profiles in Facebook appearing on Contracts.

It syncs but not very well as Facebook has a crap android app. Only about 3/4 of my contacts sync, and I use Contact Picture Sync to get the rest synced. It has something to do with Facebook not using Android API's or something to that effect as why it doesn't work well. Facebook and Google aren't the best of friends and we suffer.

I think haxsync screws up the display pic of contacts.. The quality of the image is really bad...

Log into Google plus and delete the album's, then go turn sync and auto backup off in the g+ settings

But what if I want Google+ to backup my photos that I take? I just don't want the autobackup galleries to appear on my phone from Picasa.

well, as far as I know either you use it or you don't.. I don't think you can hide albums unless you use a different 3rd party gallery..
You can switch off sync for Google Photos, and then clear cache and data for Gallery. (It won't delete any photos).
This will help you to show only the offline photos in the gallery.
I have a nexus 4 running kit Kat. It's completely stock. I'm trying to get mainly my Facebook photos to sync into my android gallery without having to manually sync with apps like "my album". It wouldn't hurt to be able to sync contracts and events too.

I'm not sure that this is as simple as you think it is. Facebook doesn't have the same integration as Google obviously. I have not heard of a way to sync your Facebook albums with your phone.
Contact pics are easy. I have never heard of pulling albums though.

yeah it is for contacts, it allows you to pick if the person it finds is correct or not on initial setup. Which is nice in case their name on facebook isn't exactly the same as you have it on your phone. Yes I'm a Subaru guy.
Oh ok. I'm more looking for a way to sync my face book photos to my phone. Subaru for life!!

The skinned versions of android can do this (touchwiz, sense, blur, etc) but im pretty sure you can't with vanilla android
