you may have a bad stock firmware download. Try downloading the files again.
pull out your battery for a couple of minutes. then retry with odin
if you can access another pc, it is good to try.
out of options.

Connection problem with almost bricked phone

Hello
I have a big problem with my note. today i wanted to change rom from imilka's AOSP ICS [IMM76D/4.0.4] to newest version of rocket. after flashing Abbys 4.2 kernel I missclicked to reboot button, after reboot phone got stuck and starting screen "Galaxy Note" I can even enter recovery, but can't do anything because if I try to move up or down then cwm got rebooted. Download mode works also BUT... The main problem is that after that fail with flashing I can't connect to pc. I tried with another cable/another pc/ reinstalled drivers and kies and still pc can't recoginze this device. any solutions? thanks in advance
If while flashing with Odin you receive an error message or got stuck on factoryfs the only thing you can do is to go to Samsung Assistance..

[Q] Multiple SMS duplicates, Unmodified device.

Hey there!
My gf has a Samsung Galaxy Y and it suddenly started receiving multiple duplicates of every SMS sent to her.
The phone is completely unmodified and stock in every possible way.
3 days ago the phone was sent to phone shop for service and it seems they flashed it.
Today the phone was received and it still has the same problem.
Network operator claims they see no problems on their side..
What can i do?
Hmm unusual problem
Well I admit I don't know the reason y this is happening but I know flashing stock rom via Odin will help if it is a software defect
Hit thanks if I helped
No wait try a factory reset and see if that doesn't help then flash stock rom via odin

If you have not already tried this then turn off the phone and pull the battery out and leave it out for a few minutes.
Put the battery back in and try to boot the phone normally, if that fails then pull the battery again and leave it as before then follow the below process.
Put the battery back in and boot the phone into download mode
Start Odin and find the md5 file under PDA
Let Odin run the file check
Once Odin has done the check connect your phone to your PC (don't connect your phone before this step) and wait for the ID com to highlight usually in blue
Once highlighted click Start and the firmware should flash onto your phone.

You're out dated. Latest Odin is 3.10.6.
EDIT: I flashed the lolipop update again and it worked. i tried to do it few times before but it failed. weird :X
you need to turn on the option of MTP and ADB and you can do that from dialer but i dont remember the code..... ...because your device is not connecting to your computer , no matter how many drivers you are installing....it should be charging though
edit.... here is the code *#0808#

Download Odin if you don't already have it and the matching firmware for your model put phone in download mode and flash with firmware should bring you back
Don't panic!
Firstly, make sure you have the correct drivers so that Windows can see your phone (search on here).
Secondly, if Kies won't work, Odin probably will. Odin (again, search on here for it) allows you to flash any Samsung firmware to your phone (Search sammobile.com for firmwares, but MAKE SURE you get firmware for the correct version of Note 4).
Hope this helps.
ive downloaded the correct firmware for my phone now what do i do in odin
I'm at work at the moment, so I can't spend too much time on here, but this should help you out:

my phone keeps disconnecting then connecting while i connected to odin
Try setting everything up in Odin, and then connecting your phone (in Download mode). Wait for the connection to be recognised by Odin, then click the button to start the flashing. Always works for me.

If you used an extra back cover remove it and connect the cable again.Check if there is any lose connection.

sorted it just didn't like my laptop, I'm going to try and root it again
Glad you got it sorted out, and good luck with rooting your phone.
ive rooted but it starts up ok but it keeps restarting itself, when it starts up it has yellow writing at the top saying "getting Warranty bit : kernel" it vibrates once then vibrates again as it normally does when booting up. it's working ok now
