Hi
I'm looking for a 32gb version of the S4 and can see Verizon and AT&T have one. I've been searching for a few days now and can't seem to find any definitive answer to my question. Will either of these carrier's phone work in the UK on T-Mobile, along with the 4G technology? I'm due to arrive in the US in August so would love to get my hands on one then! Alternatively, maybe there is an offline version unlocked to all networks, including the UK T-Mobile one.
I hope someone can help or point me to a link that will help.
Thanks
Shy

I think more than anything its going to depend on what bands T-Mobile UK uses..

Does anyone know if this dual sim version of the phone will be getting an international release?
I know the S4 Mini dual sim is already out, but I'd rather get an S4 with actual S4 advertised functions.
I'm very tempted to buy this from China and root it, but I hear that it's pretty unstable. I'd much rather wait for an international release, but I also dont want to be waiting around for nothing...
If anyone has heard anything or any opinions on whether markets outside of China will ever see this phone, please share your news here.
Thanks!

I doubt it, I own i9502 dual sim, it's stable using SVA ROM, it's just the battery life that worries me (I Think it might be just the ROM).
If you want international release, get the S4 Mini Duos (i9192).

Yeah, I was thinking exactly this, I was about to buy the Mini Duos but realised that I was basically getting the same phone as I have now (S3) with dual sim and paying the price of a new phone for it. As the S4 Mini has almost none of the features that the S4 is advertising.
The retailer told me to wait for the S4 Duos to be released internationally, but when I asked him if it was even planned, he had no idea.
I would be interested to know about the stability of the SVA rom, I read the whole thread (the one starts with "Wonted") and it seems people are having issues with caller ID and battery life. I'm also not very experienced with rooting and all that so I'm really torn about whether or not it's worth buying.
Hi all,
Quick question, Im heading to New Zealand in April and ill be taking my note 3 which i bought out right from JB Hifi, with no sim locks as far as im aware.
Question: Will i have the regional lock problem if i were to purchase a NZ Sim card and use it in my phone?
Im currently on Android 4.3 with a Optus Simcard.
Thanks in advance!

Region lock was supposed to be disabled after using your phone to make phone calls for about 5 minutes...
Whether the lock may affect you is anyone's guess but the UK & European phones that come with region lock have a sticker on the outside.
I don't believe you will have any problems but that is still just a guess....
So far as I know genuine Australian Note 3 handsets are not region locked. Was there a sticker on the box when you got it? If not then you are good to go.

Ahh thats good, ive seen pictures of the stickers on the boxes saying that the phone is region locked, my box has no such sticker so i guess im in the clear.
I cant take my optus simcard over to nz as its not mine, so i cant do the 5 min call part, but i might grab a prepaid simcard just incase.
Hey guys, I'm planning on buying one (note 3) for me...
But the fact is that I mostly find here on my country the Dual-SIM variant (N-9002) and it is similar to 9005 except that it doesn't have LTE and it has two SIM slots...
So I was wondering if I can use the developed stuff for N-9005 on this N-9002...
Can I?

I'm under the impression that Straight Talk branded phones usually don't work well with other companies' SIM cards... on the flip side, they advertise themselves as being able to bring your own phone to straight talk by having them provide many different types of SIM cards for your unlocked phone. If you find a solution to this, can you post a reply, as I am curious about this as well.
