Hi all,
I am not sure this question is answered or not but the search shows bo result. Does anyone know if gs4 will have fast charge from snapdragon that reduces 50% of charging time. I have seen htc one does not support.
Thx in advance

[Q] Something moving/loose in earpiece?

Hi all, got my nexus 4 yesterday through O2 yesterday and started using it today, first impressions are it is a brilliant phone, much better than the s3 of mine which after updating to 4.1 became very slow among other things!
Anyway the purpose of this thread is to find out if you guys have the same 'problem' as me! Basically when I shake the handset I can hear something moving inside the earpiece, this don't sound normal to me but if it is a regular thing then ok, but if not I'm going back to O2 tomorrow.
So, does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks
Same here mate.. I didn't noticed that until now. I hope it will not cause me any hearing problems..:what:

Doesn't really bother me (yet) but don't want it to turn into a problem!
It should be definitely ok, let's hope this will be the only problem with the handset. So far I am impressed. I need to be carefull and not to drop it.

To charge, or not to charge

So after three months of painful waiting, I will finally be getting my Nexus 4 tomorrow!
One question though: Is it necessary to fully charge the battery before using the phone? I know a lot of people (and the manual) recommend this, but what is the reasoning behind this? Lithium batteries don't have the memory effect...
Thanks
Iirc it comes aroubd 75% charged. I wouldn't argue with the manual. While Li ion batteries have for the most part done away with " memory". It's still advisable to follow best practices.
It will not make a difference. At all.

I remember Googling this for ages a while back. I think that charging before use was just something that carried over from the older batteries, and isn't necessary for newer tech.
I always charge them full before use, only for the simple fact of being able to easily measure usage. No need to worry about where battery was at at the start of using the phone, it was at 100..
Yeah nothing to loose sleep over, The manual has a lot of stuff that are not really required
Charge whenever you have the possibility..
Thanks for your help guys!

Things which everybody must know..

Hi ppl..I just wanted to share one thing..
Charging time of any mobile can be determined by using simple formula
(Battery capacity/charger output current)
E. g let's consider s2
(1.6/0.7)= 2.28
This means s2 should be charged with in 2.28 hr..
Hope this helps all.

This is true only when the phone is charging while it's shut down.
If the phone is running, it's consuming some of the current to maintain contact with it's network, sync and to keep background services running, thus prolonging it's charge time.

In my experience kernel makes much more difference compare to ROM on battery life and its relatively easy to try few around (no wipe needed) just give 2-3 popular ones day or two and in weeks time you can come to conclusion

What is LG Intelligent Agent?

I am interested to know what is LG Intelligent Agent? I think that maybe taking some battery away from me, and want to know if it's safe to disable it without messing with anything? Thanks.
I'm like 99% sure it's safe to freeze, but if you want to be sure there's a thread somewhere where someone found like 50+ apps that are safe to freeze and listed them all.

Nobody really knows, just like much of the other bloatware on the phone
Rumors say it will turn your phone into a dumbphone Nokia 3310 without the same durability, so I am afraid to do it myself.
it's needed for some stock features like Text Link.

So far I can't notice a change in battery life with the screen on, but I've noticed at idle it is a little better with battery consumption.
