Hi all, got my nexus 4 yesterday through O2 yesterday and started using it today, first impressions are it is a brilliant phone, much better than the s3 of mine which after updating to 4.1 became very slow among other things!
Anyway the purpose of this thread is to find out if you guys have the same 'problem' as me! Basically when I shake the handset I can hear something moving inside the earpiece, this don't sound normal to me but if it is a regular thing then ok, but if not I'm going back to O2 tomorrow.
So, does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks
Same here mate.. I didn't noticed that until now. I hope it will not cause me any hearing problems..:what:

Doesn't really bother me (yet) but don't want it to turn into a problem!
It should be definitely ok, let's hope this will be the only problem with the handset. So far I am impressed. I need to be carefull and not to drop it.

Hi fellow nexus 7 users. I just received my nexus 7 this morning. No problems so far! It is telling me to update to 4.1.1 but I have heard so many issues after updating to this so should I leave it or take the risk?? Thanks in advance guys.

What issues? If you're concerned based on what you've read, maybe ask in those threads so people know what you're talking about... (this is not a flame, just a suggestion. If there are existing threads on the topic, then just ask there. You'll get better responses from people who know why you're asking. A new thread without any of this info is confusing to other users and sort of mucks up the forums).
Physical screen issues are hardware. If you mean the flickering, you get that with all the updates, including stock firmware.
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
not aware of any update related issues other than rooting related tomfoolery. I think you've maybe read a few things and conflated different issues into 4.1.1. The screen-lifting on my unit was there when I opened the box, and the light flickering on first use disappeared quickly, although I am not sure if that was due to the updates. I'd do it, as I already have!
Anyone had this issue?? my screen is like touching itself does anyone know about a solution for this problem¡?

That's a naughty Nexus 7 you got there. I hope it's fixed now. If not try deleting all the porno from your device. That should stop it from touching itself.
You are all wrong! You should sit down with your n7 and explain its perfectly natural to be curious....and if it wants to touch itself....to only do it in private and don't feel ashamed. Every tab does it!!!

I would spank my n7 if he'd touch himself. That's not how a gentleman behaves.
DO you guys think is a motherboard issue o a display problem? the reason im asking is because im from costa rica and i have no way to get the warranty from asus :S

Hey guys. I saw a video and an article that the Nexus 7 become very lag if the memory is below 3gb.... is that true???
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
Not all of them, but it is known that sometimes it isn't happy with the amount of space left and does go laggy.
Can't say I've personally experienced but yes I have seen it.

As I said in my last post.
I haven't personally experienced it, but I've seen it happen.
If your on custom rom/recovery you could wipe cache/dalvik.
Sometimes Android causes "Dead Space" which is where residual files that may even have been deleted, Android still reports that space in use.
Also try "Re-scan SD" an app from market.
That may help remove listed files that are no longer there.
Finally:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5jbGVhbm1hc3Rlci5tZ3VhcmQiXQ..
That is a brilliant app for removing dead/unused and useless files on your device.
Good luck !!
Yes it's true. There's a thread about it somewhere on here. Check my post history. Close to 3gb and it lags to unbearable speeds. Mine already does that
Forever Gone helps, same thing as what the guy above me suggested, but once you start updating apps again and installing new ones, it gets Laggy again. Forever gone helps, but it's like a temporary fix. Still a great app though.

No offence, but you can't RMA a device because you've filled the space and still expect it to be as fast as when you unboxed it.
Things slow down, imagine walking with 1 brick in your hand, you could easily do it. Then put 40 bricks in your hand and try to run... you could hardly move..
Same with Nexus, silly analogy I know, but its a silly reason for an RMA also.

I just want to say. ........I think the note 3 not only looks better, but is better! The S5 is so ugly! And the 5.1 inch screen is just too small lol.... That's what she said. .... anyways, I would like to hear yalls opinion on the matter. My buddy had been waiting on the S5..... Only to b let down! I have no idea where Samsung was trying to go with this, but I think it's pretty safe to say that it is a fail of a upgrade coming from the S4. My buddy is now going with the Note 3, and I don't blame him one bit! This phone is beastmode in every way!!! The size is perfect, I have no problem using it one handed, and the spec sheet is on par with anything out right now. The only part of the Note 3 I have a problem with its that the camera lacks ois.. That's it. And I'm a huge htc fan. So this coming from me is huge! The Note 3 opened my mind about something other than htc, and I'm proud to say that.
Anyways enough rambling. .. Let's hear what u guys have to say on the matter.
Oh and btw, before u come in here and try bashing the topic, Lets all please remember the xda rules! Lol.
