I had the same question myself some time ago but if you follow the method in the following thread link I can confirm you shouldn't have any problems, at least it worked for me, all the best of luck
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1536829
you could use easeus or mini partition tool to copy the whole SD as is & adjusting the size.

You don't have free space left on the SD Card, delete unneeded files.
I vote this as the thread of the week.

SD Formatter.....!!!....To Format FAT32 the propper way...!!

There is a lot said about how to format/repair an SDcard ,in my opinion and due to experiance a lot of different devices besides Android(Navi-Cams-Eproms etc.etc)for quite some years now, there is only ONE tool that should be used at first and that's SD FORMATTER !! a tool what has been around for quite some years now......a tool thats recommended by all the SD vendors.....and can be downloaded for free from the SD Association website....!!! Also everything you want to know about SDcards and what they are all about can be found here...
sdcard.org
So never mess things up again and use it because its made for the job,and never waist useless time preparing your SDcard !!!
The reason i tell you this is that i read over and over again problems getting it right....so before you go partitioning it,prepare it....!!! The way it should....:good:

Probably it has something to do with CWM . Download SD Formatter from this link ,format and its perfectly fresh again.Otherwise it disfunctions and its broke....give it a try and let us know if it did the job right OK...?!

Hi kayZ81, welcome to the forum. If you have the same problem as the OP of this thread, perhaps you could both provide some more information, such as install method, nand/sd partition sizes, type of hd2 (eu or tmous), download link (if not from first post)..... the more info, the more likely someone might answer. It might be a bit late for the OP, but maybe not for you.
Well,
1st try: I followed the installation instructions as it is described under http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639932 , and partitioned my MicroSD with MiniTool Partition Wizard (10GB Primary, Fat32, Cluster 32K & 4+GB Primary, Ext4), flashed the ROM but only the internal memory was usable.
2nd try: I followed the installation instructions as it is described under http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639932 until bullet 13. I then partitioned my SD card with CWR (1GB EXT, 0 SWAP), moved the .zip file onto my SD card, flashed the ROM...... Same result
I simply can't make that IDE work.... Any ideas where i might have done wrong???
My third try is gonna be this: I'll follow the installation instructions as it is described under http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639932 with a non-partitioned SD-card, I'll load into MAGLDR after bullet 17 and follow these instructions > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661892
This might not the right way to do this but i'm gonna give it a try anyway!
Let's see how that goes!
Well, so far so good. Had to give the phone approx. 10 minutes to boot, but as soon as it was booted up i had a whole lot of memory.... I'm gonna give it a couple of days to test and then I'll report with a complete guide on what i did. :fingers-crossed:
It seems like you set your card up initially for NativeSD version, but flashed the nand version. Then used a script to get data on the ext partition. When you could have used NativeSD version. Anyway, hope it works for you.

You're right... I made it harder for me than it actually was..... Well the golden rule is read the whole thread before asking questions.....
So actually my third option worked.... I managed to make that script work with the ROM, BUT.... The Wifi was slow, and as for the GPS, it couldn't get fix. And overall performance of the phone was degraded. So....
... after reading through the whole thread i found out that you had some ideas regarding the 16b1 but what I actually did was installing the 15b6.
And now the IDE works..... Job done i guess (well i'm still testing it)!

So I apparently just bricked my SD card?

Someone gave me a bad suggestion about using beta 3.72 safetrap, and it blanked my card. My phone can't format it, and neither can my computer, even when I use the "tape over the write protected" thing
so any way to format it or what, i really just somehow made this thing worthless and have to buy another?

thanks, i get shutdown at step 1:
In the Disk Management window, complete one of the following procedures, and then continue to step 2:
To create a new partition, right-click unallocated space on the basic disk where you want to create the partition, and then click New Partition.
To create a new logical drive in an extended partition, right-click free space on an extended partition where you want to create the logical drive, and then click New Logical Drive.
there is no option to click "new partition", at all, so that makes this kind of hard to do.
Any more suggestions would be welcome before I guess I just trhow this brand new SD card away....
