No.
If there is a way, VMware will probably be first to make it. But not for windows XP. It's too old for anyone to care about it. If there is anything, it will be for Windows 7, 8 or 9 or something.
I found this though: http://www.pressbyte.com/3723/vmware-view-client-app-android-3x-honeycomb-tablet-pc/
It's an old article, so sure there has been some progress since then.
Found something else, but haven't tested it:

Ouch! I think I just had my credulity strained.
I better go see a doctor.
Not sure if you need xp or just some of the apps but I remember reading a while ago a russian company was working on a x86 emulator for android but only had it running at 20 percent. If you can get away with windows98 Ive installed that before through dosbox for some gaming.

you have to install device center 6.1 from microsoft.
Version 6 doesn't work with our phone.
Had me stumped for a while last night.
Yep - that worked, thanks.

I have done that but CabViaActiveSync does not work, it denies me access. Is there an updated version for windows7 or am I missing something?
Has anyone got it working in windows 7?
Currently the only release is WMDC 6.1 for Vista, which installs and works on Windows 7. I honestly haven't tried installing CAB files via ActiveSync so I can't chime in whether that works or not. I usually just copy them to my device and run them from the device.
i used my disc with active sync on aswell

That partially worked for me. Get stuck half-way with syncing with a strange pop-up notification window: "the name doesn't match owner's name" (or sth like that)

I saw news about htc hd7 and the windows mobile 7. Hd7 is exactly the same as hd2. This should make it easier to port windows 7 to the hd2 for cotulla

thank you captain fu*****g obvious for your brilliant worthless post... next time use the search button..
What the other guy was trying to say, but in a very rude way, is that although the spec's are the same there are other issues that will cause the HD2 to not run windows phone 7 to it's full potential.
For example, each WP7 phone comes with a specific key (so to speak) embedded in it which is kept on MS's server, which will allow each phone to authenticate itself with MS to get most of the on-line features, I.E. Xbox live integration, yada, yada.
So yes, it is easier in that it's already been proven (check the video's about it) that WP7 will run on the HD2, but with-out most of the WP7 online functionality.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Hey everyone,
I just recently came up with the idea to create some sort of 'Wine' for Android devices running on the ARM architecture. Fortunately, Windows Mobile has been designed for the ARM architecture aswell, so in theory it's possible to implement the WinApi ourselves.
I am not sure if it's worth the effort, is there any WinMob Software that would be sweet to have on Android? I'll probably do this anyway, just for educational purposes, but I figured if you guys have interest in this in general, I'd make the code public aswell and continue to work on it until it reaches a final state.
DO IT!! GARMIN XT FOR ONE, sorry, yeah that would be awesome Im sure there are others too, but off the top of my head it would be awesome to have garmin since they are being a$$ holes about an app for android...
2nd best thing to actually running WM on Android (Which is highly unlikely) But yeah Do it! It'd be great
Android applications already run in virtual machines. You want to run a virtual machine inside a virtual machine?

Gonna have a hard time with that.
It's amazing that windows mobile will run on such varied hardware. I even remember the older versions running on a 200 mHz processor with 64 megs of ram.
It would be neat to see from a technology standpoint and probably but useless from an app standpoint.
Windows CE programs are diffrently compiled for ARM, and that is true, but even if WINE ran on it, I dout that it will work, but if I am wrong, have at it.

For the HD2 of course
Android 5, windows 8, windows rt, battery drivers for windows 7, or...
Realistic guesses welcome.

Maybe Project Butter on JellyBean?
^I am hoping for this more than anything else
And maybe a fully working Sense 4?
apple os 6.1 that would be great
Yeah, probably iOS since almost all OS runs on HD2. WP8 probably gets released to the public.
I agree with Marvlesz, project butter on jb, fully working Sense4. Others will come..
Just one question:
Why the heck would anyone want iOS to be ported? You can't do anything special on it and it's a waste of time for devs although it would be nice to have it in our collection.
iOS, just because you can...
And how upset would Apple be

yes you can install windows probably these are the steps;
1) Make Sure your house have an aluminium window.
2) Buy a super glue and stick your phone with it (make sure to do it properly or else ur phone will drop and will no longer be windows phone).
If you have done every thing right you should see something like this:
