Reboot problem after theme flash - Xperia Play General

Hello!
Recently I just flashed my Xperia Play with the newest xperia S theme. Afterwards when ever the screen isn't on and I slide out the game pad it reboots just the Sony Ericsson logo. I'm running the newest doom kernel and the stock UK rom.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Sent from Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 using XDA Premium app
yes ,
oh sorry , so tomorrow i will find out in stock rom
ThereĀ“s a video on youtube where a guy does it, but he does it with X8 1.6, so I think you have to downgrade to 1.6 if you wanna do it.
It works with 2.1 stock S.E. ROM.

[Q] Xrecovery question

can we install xrecovery on a rooted, unlocked boot loader xperia play?
or is it just for x10, x8...?
You can only use cwm. Which comes free of charge with dooms kernel. Even if you don't need any of the features of the kernel, it's still great to be on. And you get recovery!! Try it out

is that the same clockwork mod from the market?

I think they can work together. In the sense that if u have recovery installed clockwork mod can reboot into it. But they are 2 separate things. I think.
The only way to have a permanent recovery installed that I currently know of, is by installing dooms kernel (version 2 and up).
If your bootloader is unlocked, its as simple as running your phone in fastboot for a couple of seconds as it installs your new kernel. Try it out. You won't regret it I've been on doomlords kernel since version 1 ^_^

I'm in really big trouble. I just wiped /system /data and /cache from xrecovery. I thought I would be able to clean install new android but now my phone only shows 'Sony Ericsson' boot screen . My phone is Sony X8. I'm really terrified right now. I couldn't think anything. I think now i'm dead. Please help me !!!!!

You need to download "Sony ericsson update service". Then follow the instructions. It will reset your phone and install the official software (android 2.1)
Stay calm, try flashtool or seus, then everything will be okay.
This is not a big problem, relax, calm down....
Can I use update service of sony even if i 've rooted my phone. Because my phone is already rooted.
Just relax, dawnload seus from sony ericsson, fleshtool or etc and evrething will be fine
