Hi.. I used this program (ISO-8859-1__xda_ii_172187_final) which I downloaded here to update my XDA II and then for some reason, the update failed. I didn't know why then my screen showed "Serial" on top and "v1.06" on the bottom of the screen. Then when I connect it to the cradle, it says "USB" on top and same goes for the bottom. Help me, I can't use my XDA...
just rerun the update
Sir, I can't rerun the update because I'm stuck in the bootloader. To run the update, I need to perform a restart which I am not able to do..
no to run the upgrade all that is needed is connecting the usb as soon as it change from serial to usb or is it the other way around i forget one can just rerun the update
don it a million times that way
windows detect the device as ms usb da device or something and when it's finished with the driver one can run the udate again without any problems
when i tried that i got an error "101" like that.
now i can't even power up my XDA ... can u also help with that? tnx so much.. i think i have charged it long enough.. but it still doesnt go on..

It is actually the disconnection error
1 - first fully charged battery.
2 - install mobile device center or active sync ( as per your OS )
3 - Enter in to the bootloader mode
4 - connect USB cable with ppc device.
5 - wait for detection of the device
6 - drivers are automatically installed if you are using windows7 it shows
driver installed successfully & device is ready to use.
7 - extract the rom update utility from the posts whichever you like ( remember choose it carefully as per your device )
8 - just double click on upgrade icon in extracted folder and yeah you done.
if still any problem persists then fell free to contact me on [email protected]
Hello friends,
I'm new to android, and tried to install app2sd, but the attempt was not recognized sdcard.
After that I was somehow trying to fix it using FlashTool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746), but after I used the "Optimize" the program and then restarted the phone is still only in the text "Sony Ericsson".
I've tried reset, hard reset, remove battery, but nothing worked until now.
Has anyone experienced this? Or know how to solve? Therefore only used the phone for 2 days and managed to catch it!
PS: Sorry if anything in the text does not make sense because I used the google translator to communicate.
Thanks!
use SEUS or pc companion to repair
I've tried using the PC companion and I returned that has no update to be done.
I used adb logcat and found that the boot goes in a loop whenever he gets in this command:
D/AudioHardwareMSM72XX( 4911): setVoiceVolume(1.000000)
With that you know what I should do?

Man, I've downloaded this file, says that when I install the software already installed is the latest.
When I turn on the phone, no button works to turn off it, only removing the battery.
use SEUS, it will repair ur phone in off state..

Hey guys , my not so smart friend tryed to be smart and tryed to flash custom rom WITHOUT rooting, and WITHOUT any recovery :highfive:. Long story short the phone is bricked completely. Mainly it stuck in LG logo for a long time and sometimes it actually load the system but crashes after a few secs, again, to LG logo.
Is there any way to root the phone without going into the system( usb debugging etc)?
p.s.
tryed to do factory reset and the result as above.
Thank you in advance guys!
After 7 hours I found a solution to this insane situation. I never had to recover such a dead phone. No root, no recovery , no backup, no rom on the device. Any way Im proud of myself
If someone has the same problem I might be able to help!

After installing the driver, when the phone is powered off, no. When the phone turn on, no. When the operating system turns on, I dont know, not enough time (phone restarts after a few secs).
I do hear the indication sound from windows that something is connected but nothing turns up..

Just so you know how :
1. Need to be in fastboot mode
2.Do like in this thread with the CMDhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
3. Then basicly follow the steps here http://choimobile.vn/threads/huong-dan-cuu-soft-brick-lg-g2-f320s-l-k.12932.html
4. Whats important though I think is turn off your computers internet connection, dont know why, but it will fail otherwise.
Step By step
After you collect those DLL & TOT files, here's step by step :
1. Disconnect any internet connection
2. Set the computer time before Juli 15th, 2012 ( I set March 1st, 2012)
3. Double click LG Flashtool. Username, password, and Registration key are on the link #1 post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2396048
4. Insert DLL file in DLL column. Browse to where you put the DLL file.
5. Insert TOT file in Software column. Browse to where you put the TOT file.
6. Click OK
7. Click the GEAR icon, set only port #1 that ticked. Other ports are UNTICKED. Click OK.
8. Press & hold volume UP , while connecting the USB cable to your computer (set to DOWNLOAD MODE). Until the phone shows "DOWNLOAD MODE" on the center of the screen.
9. Open System Properties. Device manager ->Set COM port for LG Handset using port 41.
10. Click Arrow Right in LG Flashtool, disconnect USB cable for 5 seconds. Reconnect USB cable.
11. The FLASH process in progress, wait for 600 seconds and shows green background say "PASS".(In my case at around 86% The phone already worked, the flashtool still did his thing and failed at 90 something percent.Doesnt metter because phone works)
12. Disconnect USB cable and close the LG Flashtool application.
wow props to ya...how did u get the IMEI back?
Why kids messin with phones when they dont know what they doin .. aaahhh

I'd do the next:
1. Get an OTG cable and a USB stick. Format the stick to FAT32 and throw any .apk file on it.
2. Download some 4.4.2, say, G900FXXU1ANCE and flash it with Odin.
3. Reboot to recovery and perform a factory reset.
4. Reboot to system and enter Setup Wizard.
5. Connect the OTG cable with USB stick attached. When the phone detects the stick you will see a pop-up window of file explorer.
6. Navigate to your .apk file (from p.1) and tap on it. You don't really need to install it, you only need a security request after your tap.
7. Tap "settings" and voila, you are in the security settings menu now.
8. Navigate to "reactivation lock" and untick it. You'll be asked to enter your Samsung account credentials or to register a new account.
9. Register a new account, log in to it an you'll be able to untick Reactivation Lock and disable it completely.
The trick will work on early 4.4.2 only.

There are other ways too.
Yes, a pendrive or something like a USB cardreader with a card, just to connect it as external OTG storage.
You are saying you cannot turn the phone on. What does it mean? What you do and what you see?

1. You should know that the first boot after a factory reset takes a long time, say, up to 15 min. I'd suggest waiting 20 min. and then make a conclusion.
2. If your phone freezes and restarts after a factory reset, it's a good idea to flash a stock ROM. Reactivation lock will not block flashing a stock ROM via Odin.
3. If your phone still behaves abnormally, it's more likely a hw memory problem (rather often for G900), not a reactivation lock problem. Reactivation lock would not prevent the phone from booting.
4. If you still interested in "other methods", have a look at this my thread. It's for SM-G900V and the files will not work for SM-G900F, but there are another files and the main idea will work.
But I'd like to say it again: seems, it's not your case.

I have tried to put stock ROM and it didnt help. I was not sure which version should i use so i started with first one from the list. Odin says it was succesfull but phone is stopping now with recovery booting welcome page. It takes about one minute and the phone is off. I tried four versions of stock ROM and result is exactly the same.
Phone is not starting at all.
Should i try all versions of stock rom?

Hi,
I don't want to make you afraid but I was facing very similar problem and nothing helped but replacement of phone's motherboard at Samsung service centre -> my eMMc memory got corrupted for some reason.
Hopefully it is not your case but after reading your symptoms I wouldn't be much optimistic.

Any one is enough.
If you flashed a stock rom, performed a factory reset and the phone still restarts it is not a good sympthom.
I think, Many40 is right and it's time for a new motherboard.
There's nothing to be afraid of, it's just about $30 if DIY.
@Many40 @bbsc
Ok so i give up. I realy like this phone so i will give it to service for motherboard replacement since i have no idea how to do it by myself.
Thank you guys for help!
Cheers!
