Ok so I came across this Google Play Store v3.10.10 Modded by ChelpuS. What does it do exactly? And can I still download apps like normal in the playstore when I install this?
I have no idea, but out of curiosity where did you find the modified app store? I'm curious and would like to check it out.

I know people are always looking for apk files to sideload on their KF specially Google apps. I've started a page where I have posted those common files. I'm also willing to add more upon request. Just leave a comment on the blog post page. This is for free apps only and is not meant to get around paid apps in anyway. http://androidcowboy.com/android-apk-files-download/
This is awesome!
THX :good:
I've downloaded and installed the Play store. When I open it, it gives me a popup informing me an account needs to be connected in order to use it. I click yes to set up my account, and the app shuts down. Any ideas?

You probably don't have Google framework installed. Use KFU (Kindle fire utility) to do that. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399889 Questions welcome.
Thanks Cowboy - useful stuff
I use Android Drawer since it has mostly All Free Apps, that are essential for Android Users. Its got over 50,000+ apps, only free though, no warez. I use it all the time for sideloading when I am at Stock, and most are update as soon as updates roll up.

Hi, great thread. My daughter is getting a Kindle Fire for Christmas and I will be setting it up before the big day (well Santa obviously does that). I specifically want to add Google Play Music as I have just signed up for All Access, what additional APKs will I need to be able to sign in?

I think you'll need Google Play Services, and Google Play Framework if you're aren't rooting. Also, I am not sure but I think All Access is for Android 4.0+, but I am not sure though.

Oh right thanks, I'll check that out first.
Edit:: a quick search seems to indicate all access will be ok on GB, I'll try it anyway.

Check this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270926. I had a similar issue with Play not even seeing my device.
I would say try clearing your framework / Play / Playstore cache and then rebooting.

Will do. Sorry and thank you. I believe I found a work around. Because I actually own the game I downloaded the most recent apk version and it works great even with the daily bonuses
Could some on3 upload the apk for Game Informer version 1.0.3 please? Its a free app already so shouldn't be an issue

My lamentations of the new Google Maps are well documented. And although upon reinstalling the Kit Kat stock update I did try to give it another go, I just can't deal with it. So using Titanium Backup I uninstalled the new maps and reinstalled version 6.14.4 The issue is its still in the Playstore. Even though I used Titanium Backup to detach it from the market and then cleared cache from the Play Store it still comes back. I thought maybe it had something to do with having new maps installed on my tablet so uninstalled it but still it won't go away. So anyone have any thoughts on how to get Maps to stop showing as needing updated in the Play Store?

This one should be relatively easy. Uninstall it!
Have you tried just freezing it?

?.... Maybe I didn't make my post clear enough. I want to keep Google Maps. Version 6.14.4 I just don't want the dang Playstore always trying to tell me it needs an update. Although I've used TB to detach from market and cleared market cache it still seems to pick up on it and ask me to update it. So I'm wondering is there another more effective way other than TB to detach an app from the Playstore? I can't seem to find one...

Well there is away. You will need xposed installer. After you install, download a module named "Xprivacy". Go to xprivacy, find Google playstore. Make sure to check "system installed app". This way Google play store won't be able to find which apps you have installed.

Thank you! A viable solution. I will try this. I already have Xposed. Thanks again. I will report back for future reference...
Edit: won't this stop Google Play from being able to determine other apps that I actually want to update.?

Yes you are correct. It will stop Google play from being able to determine other apps update. So far this is the only solution I know.

That's because Google Play is view only at the moment. Attempting to download is not advised, yet.

I think most users are aware that this forum is for the HD2012,
Currently there is no dedicated form form for 2013 version so this one is the closest.

@LE: Is there any solution to get the Google Play Store working on the KFHD7 11.3.1.0 you know of?
Or will I just have to wait it out? Thanks and greetings!
I wonder if anyone can donwload the app from the play store and upload it here.
It tells me its not compatible with the note 3.
Maybe it is and its a limitation on the play store.
Thanks
Go to apkmirror.com they have it on there. Gotta warn ya, the old one has got more features
