Hi everyone,
Changed operator today, Internet is working like a charm on 3G/H, but I can't send or receive any MMS, I tried going on APN settings, but can't edit any of them ! When clicking on it, it's doing nothing, only things I can do there are : "Creating a new APN" or "Restore to default".
Any idea ?

Hello,
today i updated my Milestone 2 to CM7 20111018 by Endless7.
I was comming from a previous CM7, so I just did a Cache and Dalvik wipe.
everything is working fine, exept the mobile internet connection.
Is this a bug at the moment? or could it be a configuration issue?
what informations are required for troubleshooting?

Delete lines with comment"improve signal(3G)" in /system/build.prop.Though it works well in my region, but cause some problem with some phones. Next version I will remove them totally.
now its working
thank you for the fast support
bug fix
This version fixed keyword bug and led bugs?
ALT LOCK key ,batery led and others bugs, anyone tested this?
test and post pls
Not sure what the keyword bug is but Alt lock only works on the Moto roms, not any ASOP, but you can do Alt lock by double pressing Alt. The charging led (I assume the one next to the port) has been working for quite some time. I haven't found any other bugs with the latest build

hi,
Recently i have rooted my HTC Wildfire with CM7 version: 7.1.0.1-buzz (Android 2.3.7) and found gprs (internet) not working. I can not see lines to delete (improve signal(3G)) as you've mentioned above. Looking ahead your response.
Thanks in advance.

Probably due to the fact that this is a milestone 2 rom and is different from yours.
I'd suggest checking you APN settings are correct.
[Edit]: wifi works fine now but still struggling with gprs (data connection)...double checked with airtel customer care, APN Settings are perfect..Calender also doesn't work after rooting.
First let me say I have used the search function ...so I am using the nexus HD v2.8 Gingerbread Tom on my SD card. Everything works great except when I receive a mms its very blurry....any fixes?
Check Novembre5 post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12305357#post12305357
I also had this problem running on Gingerbread CM7 referencing another forum the fix was:
go to messaging
settings
custom user - agent
click custom
and set to NexusOne
save setting and all was perfect with receiving my pics.
I go to the messages and then settings but there is no user agent

My MMS has never worked. Most I've ever been able to do is send files, but not receive. I've searched around for help over time and have found nothing.
Until one day I tried Dorimanx's ROM, and it worked! I can no longer get that ROM to work for the life of me though
I have since then gone back to my primary ROM, NDT MIUI. Knowing that it is possible, how can I get my MMS fully working on this ROM? Do I edit a setting in a system file or something?
I would love ANY help! Please ask for whatever information about my phone necessary, I don't know what else to add besides my APNs have always been the same on any ROM.

I applied the latest MIUI fix from that thread, and now I can send MMS no problem, but still cannot receive... Any help?
are the apn settings correct for the mms and is it set to auto switch ?

My APNs are set to what my carrier provides, but not sure what the auto switch setting is?

No I'm on Wind, a Canadian carrier. When I apply the available T-Mobile MIUI fixes posted everywhere though, they allow me to send MMS no problem but I still can't receive them from anyone. I don't get it lol
Hello to everyone!
I have flashed my HTC HD2 to Android 2.2 a while back. Everything works great except I cannot connect to the internet throught my carrier (T-mobile) Wi-fi works without problems. This is the ROM used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893620
More info:
magldr v1.13 build feb 1 2011 by cotulla 2011
[30.DEC.10][DFT]LEO "Stock Desire" NAND Android ROM
Android Version 2.2
Radio 2.15.50.14
Kernel Version 2.6.32.15
HTC HD2 showing as HTC DESIRE A8181
Mobile Network is on
Access Point Names do not show
Thanks a lot!
If you don't have any access points, how do you think the device would connect to the internet?
While in APN, press menu > create new apn > set it up > menu again > save > select it.
That's the original proof of concept rom, really old,not rooted, and unlike any other rom,my advice would be flash a more recent rom.

One more thing to learn, don't say thanks, press the button instead. If you're still feeling a debt of gratitude even after pressing the button, then you can post about it.
