Tmobile Leo mms

Hi all,
I can not for the life of me get mms msg sending working on this build. I can receive them, just can't send them. I copied the apn info from my v2 build in which it worked, still no dice. I tried all three apns listed on t-mobiles web site, still no dice. I seem to be at a lose.

Some versions of Android just do not send MMS messages. It seems to be a pretty common problem on the HD2 builds, though there are builds out there that support MMS. I would just look around and see if you can find one that you like.
When you do figure out which HD2 builds will support mms please make sure u post it on here. I also have the same problem.
V2 did, but this build is 100 times more stable, faster, and supports every other feature, so if it can't be done it is a small price........

go here: dev.chiasoft.net/HD2/
it off this thread: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=774672
download : FroyoStone_Sense_V3.1_MooMooMMS_FIXv2.rar
it's the 2nd link, you will have to erase your old android folder, but the mms works..., post thanks to chiasoft....

Official Softbank Mail + emoji

http://mb.softbank.jp/mb/product/X/09wi/#x06ht/application
Softbank has released it's 2.2 sms/mms client enabling emoji!
i have downloaded it and it's working fine so far! Unfortunately emoji only stays in the app and not the whole system..
Try searching "softbank" in market. Maybe other people will be able to see it outside of Japan.
For people in Japan: official [email protected] is supported!
Works good with x06ht rom but on custom roms it FCs a lot
for people who are using a custom rom:
http://blog.takuo.jp/2010/10/mmsapk.html
download the mms.apk according to your rom.. remember to delete mms.odex if it's there!
this mms.apk includes iphone-like emoji
So I guess this is useless if you don't live in Japan?
Can anyone post screenshots of the emoji? Thanks!

I guess it may be usable if you get a Softbank rom.
I will post screen shots in a bit, I am flashing a new rom right now

Hi _Dennis_
Which ROM are you flashing? The original Softbank ROM? Or are you using a custom ROM?
the .apk works with the Softbank ROM update to 2.2 I put in the other thread. It was not working with 2 custom ROMs (Alex and Pays).
Screenshots!
More to follow....need to set up an account to hold my pictures.
edit:

Nice! Just included it into my custom ROM. Based on Noonski N.S.A ROM.
Works nice and smooth.
Thanks for sharing this.
Next I need the 2.2 HTC Japanese keyboard.
Just an update....seems to work fine on sense HD RCMix v 0.7.
i can receive regular sms and mms if the sender sent it to my phone number.. but if the sender sent it to my **@softbank.ne.jp i would not be able to receive it..
Did you change the user agent?
Correct MMS settings in the APN?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
do mms and data use different apn?
Is there any way to extract the emojis from this app, and enable them in the whole system ?
If someone achieves this, he will be the messiah for all people playing storm8 MMOs.
if you want to use Emoji in the whole system, your phone needs to be rooted, i think,
because you have to change ".ttf" file in /system/fonts/ folder.

So did anyone find a way to make the official s!mail application work on modded rom?
I am still having FC problem with mine...
They are in the same APN.

Getting my MMS to work?

My MMS has never worked. Most I've ever been able to do is send files, but not receive. I've searched around for help over time and have found nothing.
Until one day I tried Dorimanx's ROM, and it worked! I can no longer get that ROM to work for the life of me though
I have since then gone back to my primary ROM, NDT MIUI. Knowing that it is possible, how can I get my MMS fully working on this ROM? Do I edit a setting in a system file or something?
I would love ANY help! Please ask for whatever information about my phone necessary, I don't know what else to add besides my APNs have always been the same on any ROM.

I applied the latest MIUI fix from that thread, and now I can send MMS no problem, but still cannot receive... Any help?
are the apn settings correct for the mms and is it set to auto switch ?

My APNs are set to what my carrier provides, but not sure what the auto switch setting is?

No I'm on Wind, a Canadian carrier. When I apply the available T-Mobile MIUI fixes posted everywhere though, they allow me to send MMS no problem but I still can't receive them from anyone. I don't get it lol

MMS with [ROM] Project Cold Fusion - PCF - MAKO - 4.2.1

Hi everyone,
Changed operator today, Internet is working like a charm on 3G/H, but I can't send or receive any MMS, I tried going on APN settings, but can't edit any of them ! When clicking on it, it's doing nothing, only things I can do there are : "Creating a new APN" or "Restore to default".
Any idea ?

[Q] Why can I only receive MMS's on AOSP roms and not LG roms? T-Mobile!

So I tried flashing both CloudyFlex and CloudyPro and noticed that I wasn't able to receive MMS's on either rom but then once I switched to Mahdi rom which is AOSP then everything was fine. Anyone else having the same problem or know what is wrong? Is it a T-Mobile thing?
Have you checked the apn for the rom?

No I haven't, data works so I figured it wasn't an apn issue. Am I wrong?

no its possible the mms settings within the apn might not be filled or current... so check it out... might be that
if it still doesnt work ... try to see if you can receive mms on another app instead of stock lg messaging...
