Hi,
I'm a little frustrated right now!
I want to install this ROM:
NexusHD2-JellyBean-4.1.2-CM10 V1.2
First problem:
I wasnt able to flash because my accept-softkey was broken.
New MMI-Board - check!
Now:
I had this ROM on my device again:
RUU_Leo_S_Vodafone_DE_3.14.162.5_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship
(Installed via SD-Card)
--
SPL 3.03 --> SPL 3.03 HSPL - check!
Radio Rom --> Radio_2.15.50.14 - check!
Task 29 - check!
Want to install Magldr --> installed / reboot but stuck at the HTC screen
So - what did I wron till now?!
Or is there anything I could do?!
The 3-colours-screen says:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-3.03.HSPL XE
0x05
Cortulla HSPL 0x50
On the SD Card are:
1. LEOIMG.nbh (The Vodafone ROM)
2. NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10_V1.2.zip
Thx in advance
try flash hspl2.08 and then flash magldr .I have forgotten if you need to set maldr space for install the rom.If it need keep follow the instructions on tytung's suggestion. And I think you have to give it 350mb space.

Disclaimer: I am a cLK user so the information I provide may not be totally accurate or up to date.
Now that's out the way I believe your issue is HSPL 3.0.3. The OP of Magldr states you need HSPL 2.0.8. This is also stated in the HSPL Reference Thread. However I am aware that both threads are rather old, but I would try downgrading your HSPL to 2.0.8 and reinstalling magldr.
That was the reason!
Thank you guys
But what is 3.03.HSPL good for?!
needed for running 3.14 winmo roms on a regular hd2 (because 3.14 roms are very unstable if the spl ISNT 3.03 whn on regular hd2)

It seems you know a lot about that topic - so may you can answer this question, too (everyone else can add a answer as well) - I would like how to set the values from this table:
misc ya 1M
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr 7M recovery_leo.img
boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 220M
cache ya 2M
userdata ya|asize|hr allsize
(I am using magldr - and want to use the ROM (mentioned in the first post) as nativeSD
Where can I set this values?
I didnt found really helpful answers up to know

The easiest way is to download the HD2 NAND Toolkit, with which repartitioning is fairly self-explanatory. There are also guides in the OP of the link so I doubt you'll have any trouble using it.
Alternatively, you can do the following:
1. Download CWM from the original thread or from the NAND flashing guide in my sig
2. Open the CWM folder then find the file 'flash.cfg' (not flash.cfg.txt)
3. Open flash.cfg with Notepad
4. Edit it to be the same as you posted and save it
5. Boot into MAGLDR and go to USB flasher
6. Connect your phone to your PC and run the CWM installer.
In your post, it also says that you want to run the ROM as NativeSD. I don't know anything about NativeSD, but I thought that since it runs from the SD card it shouldn't require CWM partitoning? I think you're getting confused here between the instructions to flash NAND Android and the instructions for NativeSD. If someone knows otherwise, then please correct me since I don't want to be spreading incorrect info.
Thank you for the answer - i thought it might be possible to adjust the values anywhere in magldr - because with the NAND-Tool its just possible to take more or less values in 50's steps
Then the next thing with the adjustment with the flash.cfg was the \RSPL\RSPL.cpp (723) but I just had to get rid of a tick in activesync.
Lets see if its now working correctly -last time I installed Jelly Bean everytime i downloades something from the market it just rebootet ...
€: Its working (yay) - but I would still like to know the things

Btw. everything is fine right now - but I want still to know that stuff
You can't change the partition sizes from within MAGLDR, unfortunately. It's not so bad for someone like me who doesn't really flash ROMs too much, but for self-professed 'flashaholics' it's pretty annoying. If you really desperately need that function for whatever reason, you can flash cLK 1.5
Choose custom, and after you hit re partition a popup asks you what size. (does no one ever just try anything and see what happens nowadays;? ? )

Thank you for that information but cLK and native-sd seems not to work so easily like magldr for me
& I do not change the ROMs that often that it would be annoying but it would have been pretty nice.

Hey guys. I have read alot of threads where people are having similar issues, which is actually really easy to fix. I'm not going to write 500 words explaining it.. Just follow those steps bellow
Fix most similar issues (CLEAN INSTALL):
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HSPL 2.08 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
Task 29 simply clears all the cache, data everything on your phone.. it makes your phone brand new.
1. download task 29 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=644781
2. enter bootloader mode (hold volume down button while clicking on power button once) PS: make sure your phone is off.
3. install task 29
now you will have nothing on your phone.
4. install radio Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787 (highly recommended rom for mostly nand roms)
You can now flash an android rom. (if you have to install it with cwm, look at the instructions below:
How to install CWM on MAGLDR (NOT CLK!)First install magldr (run updateutility.exe as an admin) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893618
If you want to install Clockwork Mod download CWM. You will see 3 versions. 150mb, 250mb and 400mb. To know which one to flash, check what the chef of your android rom has written. If not, ask him
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=987531 (scroll down)
(make sure your phone is turned off) Turn on your phone. Hold down the power button untill you enter MAGLARD. CLick on usb flasher. Now right click on DAF.exe (clockworkmod) and run as an admin. After flash is done, you are ready to flash an android rom trough Clockworkmod. Go to ad recovery and install your rom
Clk and MAGLDR are differant bootloaders!Clk:
- charge while phone is turned off
- better rom manager support
- faster bootup
- Open source
- PPP
Magldr:
-Wp7 support
-Rmnet
-Tetris Support
How to install CLK the professional way:download:

fastboot drivers for manual installation (2).rar http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3xbr1nqoonhkcrh
ALL THE DOWNLOAD LINKS, EXEPT FASTBOOT DRIVERS, ARE ATTACHED BELOW!
extract them all.
1. Now install clk 1.4 as you would install wm 6.5/task29 etc.
2. When that is done, you should see a code on your phone. Now install the fastboot drivers. (go to contol panel, drivers. You will see android with a yellow "!" there. Click on it, and choose install manually, the locate to fastboot drivers.rar and install it. (after the installation is done, you should see (fastboot processing commands on your phone)

GPS FIX - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953630
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1100114 (guaranteed working! got gps lock in 2 seconds)

Fix mini FC issues/wifi not workingStuck at android screen or cm7 loading screen? try this:
At clockworkmod (option 8) wipe cache, factory reset, then go to advanced and wipe dalvik chache and battery stats, if it doesnt work, try to reinstall everything. (sometimes, just reinstalling the rom works) + MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE RIGHT CLOCKWORKMOD, IF NOT YOU HD2 WILL BE STUCK AT ANDROID SCREEN,,,,,,, if you dont have the right radio, it will be stuck at htc screen.
If you get : nand kernel open failed, make sure you are trying to install a MAGLDR rom and not a CLK ROM
If your wifi is not working, do a task29, then wipe cache/data/dalvik cache from cwm. Then reinstall the rom.
to fix wifi issue, try wiping cache and dalvik cache, flash the kernel and fix permissions. You can also try to replace the wpa_suppliciant from your rom.
Nand USB Init Failed on MAGLDRTry this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=895655
If that doesn't work, make sure you are running DAF.exe as an admin
Fix robotic voice issue:1. First solution, disable “Audible touch tones” from the “Sound Settings” menu(just uncheck the box) and reboot your phone. (Note: Disable it right after you flash a new ROM and reboot, that way your phone system will remember it.) So, no more Robo Voice for you.
2. Second solution, while you experienced the Robotic-Voice call, enable the loud speaker, and disable it. You will have no more Robotic-Voice until your next boot.

confirmed working on many people, (mostly magldr), worked on me (I'm usng Clk) (update [Sep] WWORKING ON ALL AUO SCREENS!)
HOW TO FIX RANDOMLY REBOOTING ISSUE!Go to settings - Wireless & Networks - Mobile Networks - Network operators, search for operators, then choose your operator.
Ever since android nand came out, I had randomly reboots, after doing this, it never happened again.
It can also happen because of under/overvolting.
I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, BUT NOTHING WORKS!!ok, try this
- Download a stock Rom from htc.com
- Rename the extension to .zip
- open it with winzip and extract the RUU_signed.nbh file to a folder
- Rename it to LEOIMG.nbh and copy it to the root of a microSD card thats been formatted to FAT32
- Insert your storage card into your phone
- Enter Bootloader and follow onscreen instructions to flash
(after it is done, install hspl 2.08, radio 2.15, clk/magldr, and from cwm wipe data/cache/dalvik cache)
My Icons are to small!Locate to system using root explorer. Open build.prop, and edit the lcd density. 240 is normal. You can do this before flashing a rom too.
My battery life is so bad/ I want more RAM!!!
Try to remove the widgets you are not using.
Dont use live wallpapers.
Dont turn on wifi/gps/cellular data/bluetooth unless you need it!

Maybe you can also explain how dalvic and other caches do work in magldr?
Seems the OP's love the CWM and are developing more and more that way.

"new rom 2.00.000.0" = This is task29 = it cleans your NAND by flashing (in it's basic terms) an empty ROM.
Simply flash the winmo ROM you wanted, and for the above post: it probably stuck because you don't (or seem not to) have HSPL .(but how did you manage to do task29 without HSPL?)
Install HSPL if you want to experience the real HD2 .
Have fun!

What CyanogenMod7 ROMS have over Sense Roms:
*ULTIMATE SMOOTHNESS AND RESPONSIVENESS !!
*Very Customizable.
*Always Running the latest build of gingerbread (2.3.5).
*Stable and no lags.
*Very Small in size (only needs 150mb of your nand, the rest is for your data )
*Faster boot.
What Sense Roms have over CyanogenMod7:

Here are some tips you might need:
*Never boot WP7 withou sd card in.
*All ROMs have HD cam, Live Services (must have code).
** Some threads that might help you get a code :
***http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928366
***http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960849
*** (P.S. : Use skype to call them for free )
*Mango will be released soon (hope so) so make sure to get it .
*Make sure the Android build is compatible with MAGLDR (the thread will probably have the tag: [MAG] or [MAGLDR].
**Pick your sd ROM from here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=735
*It's easy to switch ROM's when using sd build, so you can try Sense and if you don't like it just switch over .
*Make sure the path is set in MAGLDR (you won't notice this if everything done correctly, However, sometimes it needs to be set manually, PM me if needed)
*NAND rom's cannot be booted from sd (duh)
Have fun
Yea great but i can't or i don't know wath the dude on the clip is doing when he's taking his sd card out ?
And can i do that without sd card reader with just my sd card in another phone?
Sent you a pm.
Instructions will be posted tomorrow
You need an sdcard reader, there are no other methods (that I know of) to partition your sd cards !
THIRD METHOD - USING A SINGLE SD CARD - HERE IS ANOTHER ALTERNATE METHOD PROPOSED BY XDA MEMBER HYELLOW (UPDATED)
1. Put your sd card inside the hd2 and power on.
2. Go to about screen, in settings, and reset your device. Let it reset and boot to WP7 again. While booting to WP7, it'll create the partitions it needs, so this is important. After you have gone through the setup wizard, go to about screen and reset your device again.
3. When it has booted into magldr screen, remove the sd card and insert into pc. (make sure that magldr is shown and stays there at bootup, otherwise it'll boot straight into wp7 without sd card and that is not what we want.
4. You'll see two partitions. A whopping 200mb of fat16 partition and the other is unformatted. Now right click on the unformatted partition and click delete. After that, click apply. Now you have unallocated space. Right click on the unallocated space and select create. Set parameters to logical and unformatted and size the partition. This will be your WP7 partition, so decide how much you want to allocate to it, this is permanent, no changes afterwards can be made. Also, make sure you move it to the end of the sd card in the same 'create' window. Hit apply. IMPORTANT When using this method make sure that the wp7 "unformatted partition" is larger than the Android partition otherwise the wp7 "unformatted partition" will move in 2nd place and you will not be able to resize the fat 16 / android partition.
5. Sit back and take a break.
break.
6. You now have a green fat16 partition to the left, some unallocated grey portion in the middle and your WP7 partition in modern turqoise colour on the far right. Agreed? Now remove the sd card from PC and insert in HD2.
7. After you have inserted the sd card, let it boot into WP7. Remember what your last action was when you were still in WP7? Yes, you pressed reset, so the device actually thinks he is still resetting the device. He might do it too, but just go through the setup wizard again.
8. Go to about screen and verify your storage. Don't look strange if when the storage has a different of about 1Gb, this is swallowed by WP7 for system stuff etc. Are you happy with the progress so far? Then power down your device and remove the sd card. Allow the HD2 to fully powered down as sometimes the screen is pitch black, but the device is still turning off.
9. Insert the sd card in pc and, using EASUS right click on the green fat 16 partition and select resize/move. Now fill up the rest of the unallocated space and hit apply. This is your android partition.
10. Format the sd android partition (not the whole sd card!) using EASUS to FAT32 using 32 or 64 kb cluster size and put an android build onto it and test.
11. IMPORTANT You need to convert the wp7 unformatted partition to primary for the sd android to see the sd card Use minitool partition wizard to do this. Right click on your WP7 unformatted partition and select modify and then click on set as primary and hit apply. Here is the link for minitool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=372

Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
So my friend has a T-Mobile us HD2 and he got sick of wimo 6.5 a few weeks ago and was ready for me to throw android on there. I have him running an SD build for him to try out to see if he liked andriod, was fine with how it ran, and generally just to test it out before I did anything major to the phone.
It's been a few weeks and I think I'm ready to get rid of 6.5 and run a nand rom on there.
I've been doing hours of research here and I've got most of it down pretty much. Installing(or making sure) the right radio is in place, then installing HardSPL, then MAGLDR, and finally I think CWM. Here is my one and only question/hangup:
I'm confused as to the whole installing the correct CWM, excuse me if I'm saying this wrong, system partition? the whole 150/240/400.
This is the rom I plan on running: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075703
I've gathered that I need CWR: 5/240/5 as listed on the file download link. My question is, I've seen files only in 150/250/400 blocks.
I know I'm probably explaining this extremely wrong because this is the part I'm completely blanking on. I understand that the 240 is the system partition space, I'm just unsure as to what I'm supposed to install, where I'm supposed to get it, and also how to do it.
In the rom thread, this part of the installation guide is confusing:
3. Flash Recovery with edit "flash.cfg" as bellow: (use Notepad to open flash.cfg file (don't open file flash.cfg.txt))
misc ya 1M
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr filesize recovery-raw.img
boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 240M (depend on which ROM version you use, change it follow the chef recommend)
cache ya 5M
userdata ya|asize|hr allsize
Link download newest Recovery 3.0.2.4: thanks seadersn
http://www.mediafire.com/?f81pamq6fbjmtw5
- Goto MAGLDR113 menu
- Choose USB Flasher (use Volume down/Volume up button, then press Call button)
- Connect your phone to PC
- Run DAF.exe and follow guide step by step
- Phone auto reboot and go to MAGLDR113 menu
- Choose AD Recovery to go Recovery Menu
Once again, I know this is dealing with the 5/240/5. I've been searching around for further clarification and am getting no luck. I'm probably just looking in the wrong place.
I'd very much appreciate some guidance, a further explanation, perhaps some links for what I need or for where I need to look. Thank you in advance for your patience with yet another noob.
heres a good guide to read about flashing : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
heres a good tool to help you install android, it has all youll need but the rom. (just read the post of whatever rom you want to try and find what partion size youll need) read the post here and you should be good to go : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090783
I want to use RCMix 3d's rom but it said "TMOUS needs CWR 5/270/5 is the minimum requirement". Mine now is 5/150/5 (I guess coz I don't know how to check it). So can you guys show me how to change that, thanks a lot.

Thanks for your reply but I'm kinda confused coz I usually use MAG menu to install roms. According to your instruction, should I switch to MAGLDR repartition instead of CLK repartition ?
And there are 3 numbers 5/270/5, what is the other "5" ?

Personally I prefer clk, but magldr is fine, and the number 5/270/5 mean the same for clk, and magldr.
In 5/270/5
The first 5 basically doesn't mean anything, it's saaying 5mb for cwm, but thats really a given.
The 270mb is system size
Then the second 5, like this 270/5 means 5 mb cache
Excuse me but 1 more question: Is it necessary to do a task29 again because I heard that doing this will harm HD2 especially Tmous version .
im not sure
I'm not sure about it harming the hd 2 with a task 29 I think its a good idea every once in a while its kinda like defragging a computer just cleans every out fresh I do it once or twice a month mine does just fine. Pls someone correct me if I'm wrong.
theres an hd2 toolkit which let lets you easily change the partition size and cache easily and on the fly, and same way for clk.
noob proof = )
I've written a guide that will walk you through everything. I recommend task 29 but theirs lots of contraversy saying that it isn't necessary. However, if if you have a problem and do a task 29 then 9.9 times out of 10 problem solved.
Sent from my HD2 using xda premium
i task 29 every time i flash a new rom, just me
never had a problem. it is time consuming reinstalling cwm, and clk or magdlr,
but it keeps me away from bad blocks. which i dont have =-)
just me lol, i recommend, it will solve lots of problems.
Ok I'm so through now thanks to all of you, XDA rocks
You can do it yourself, open the recovery folder, right klick on flash.cfg, open with editor. Now you can change the values of "boot yboot", "system ya", "cache ya" how it is on the Discription for the rom you would to flash. Now you must save it.
That´s all !!

Don't leave it for too long because you may run it out of battery, and you'll end up having to cut open a USB cable to charge it again. You need to provide a tonne more information.
Have you got HSPL?
Have you got a .50 radio?
Which bootloader are you using?
What partition size are you using?
Which specific ROM are you using?
HSPL: yes
Radio: 2.15.50.14
Bootlaoder: MAGLDR
Partition size: (for 4Go card) 1rst partition 2,76 Go FAT32, 2nd 1 Go ext4
Rom: RUNNYMEDE 1.22.461.2 - Sense 3.5 [v2.5][MARC 0.1.6]

No as in partition in CWM
Where can I see it? I had just followed the steps and don't remenber this partition
But in the tuto, they have said that for this rom, we don't ave to change the partition. so I think (guess?) that partition is 175 M

Any sense ROM I've ever seen needed at very least 300M so change it to 300 and try that
Sent from my HTC HD2 using Tapatalk
How to change it please? can you help me? I'm inexperienced in this!
Just see this guide and you should be fine. In order to change the partition size, either use the HD2 Toolkit or do the following:
1. Open CWM folder
2. Open 'flash.cfg' in notepad
3. Edit the line 'system ya xxx M' to whatever the ROM you want specified.
4. Save the file
5. Run DAF.exe and flash it to your phone via USB flasher.
Thank you, I will try it and get back
Please how to go back? because mn phone is still freeze on the black and white face picture. I have changed the partition in the file "flash", but in DAFexe, it don't see my phone when I connect to the USB... (sorry for the english)

Pull the battery? Don't tell me you actually left it on all this time. You do realise that in MAGLDR you can't charge the phone when it's off, right?
