T-mobile in store demo units??

Anyone know if/when t-mobile corporate stores will start getting their store demo units in? In the past they've always gotten a new device in a week or so before launch. It'd be nice to check it out in store prior to ordering from the play store.

I just talked to T-Mobile today and they said they'll probably get them a day or two before - but won't put them out on display until the 13th. I got a nice salesperson that offered to call me when they come in and let me feel it before release! :laugh: Check with your local store and maybe you'll get lucky.

I can't get any kind of answer from the stores ..most barley know wtf I'm talking about let alone a release date for the phone
I'm going in to a higher volume store tomorrow to see if they have their phones yet ...I really want to have this phone in my hands on the 13th

^^ Same here. The 1 store near me (downtown Denver) has absolutely no idea what's going on with their launch of the Nexus 4. One employee knew what I was talking about and said he planned on ordering his unlocked tomorrow as well but said there has been no internal communication regarding display units or availability.

I just got off the phone with one by where I work in minneapolis, and they said they should have it out tomorrow or the next day.

they told me the 14th..i live in miami btw

officially on sale wednesday morning. instore only! lol. can't wait.

I went to my store today in Detroit and she said the truck with the phones comes in tonight and I could come in tomorrow to play with the demo unit

Have you ordered your Nexus 10?

Well it was hard work but I finally managed to get my order though for the Nexus 10.
How was everyone else's experience? Did you have problems with the Google Play site like I did?

Still having problems, trying to order Nexus 4 16gb with bumper and nexus 10 32 gb in one basket but even they appears and disappears very quickly. Now none from nexus 4 devices is available, also there is no option to buy bumper for nexus 4 and only available option is to buy nexus 10 16gb... cant wait to buy them all

I'm sure you'll get there in the end, don't give up! I found i had more success having one of my Google accounts logged in Chrome and the other in IE and I was trying to get to the checkout using both accounts. Eventually I got through on one of them

Managed to get it after an hour hitting refresh and putting it in and out of the basket. The 16GB N10

yeah, N7 and N10 16gb is available for sale, but rest of nexuses are sold out :/

So is this even going to be available in the us by the time they allow us to order it or is it just going to be sold out in the us. I set two alarms and got no sleep to find out I don't even have a chance to purchase it.

Well UK orders are being shipped from Ireland therefore I would imagine US orders will be shipped from the US therefore they will all still be in stock for you guys. Everything was available to purchase from around 8:30am on the 13th so ppl from the US have a few hours to wait yet I guess...

I managed to get a 32gb version after some teething issues with the site. Looking forward to the weekend now if it arrives as promised.

When you guys ordered where there any options such as a charger or cover available?

Ordered the 32GB. There were no accessory options. Took me two goes after getting online at 8:30am before it went through. By the time I packed up and got to work (~20 mins later) it was all sold out.
Delivery was £9.99 and states "two day" delivery.
Hopefully this means we'll have them on Thursday.

Im in Canada and it never became on sale still tells me to notify. I never got any email and I checked every hour thru the night

The times posted were for European (and before that Austrailia), it probably hasn't made it to America yet, and by extension, Canada.
Does it say November 13th for you guys like the rest of us? You must be later today after they deal with all the orders from the rest of the world.

Current EST time is 9:50am correct? If so everything should be available to purchase now providing it hasn't sold out already. Everything in the UK was available from 8:30am onwards.

In NYC the best buy on 44th and 5th had some in stock today. Picked up a 32gb .

What do you mean incompetence? If you mean since they sold it to you today. They upped the release date from Tuesday to today.

I thought BEST BUYS site was full of it..... the in-store option said "Available Now"

Picked mine up this afternoon, Willow Grove, PA Best Buy, they're sold out now. I had it preordered already online for delivery, got the email at like 4am this morning saying the release date of a product you ordered had changed. I thought "well, looks like they probably pushed it back to a later release in August or something..." Then I saw that it was released today, so I went online to see if they were available for in-store pickup. Sure enough they were. Now I have the one I bought and the one coming via UPS. Now I'm hoping I can just take the one I got delivered and return it to the store with the receipt from the in-store pickup one so I'm not stuck with two.
Does anyone know when or if this is going to get its own forum?
Update: You can return an online order to any Best Buy, per their return policy. "Avoid shipping charges and receive a refund more quickly by returning your items to any Best Buy store within the United States."

Yes you can. It says on their website you can return anything bought online to a local store.

Canadian Nexus 6 Pre-Orders!

So while our fellow neighbors downstairs are spamming their "Out Of Stock" ordering page, we can't even get to the page itself
I'm still not seeing the device being available on the Canadian Play Store. I have emailed google (.ca) and asked them about when it will be available to pre-order, and this is the response i got:
Thank you for contacting Google. It’s great to hear you are interested in the Nexus 6. We are excited to offer this popular new product on our store! I’m happy to help!
The Nexus 6 should be available on Google Play sometime today! I don't have any additional information at this time. I recommend to keep checking Google Play for updates! As soon as there is more information Google Play will be the first to be updated.

I've heard reports from MobileSyrup saying a completely different story though... but I think they were referring more to the actual release date rather than the pre-ordering date.
Ah well, it's almost 11am PDT , which is the rumored time to pre-order (as it was for the Nexus 5).

I think they meant the first week entirely in November (2nd-8th), seeing as it's not likely to release on a weekend. Google Canada's nexus page still just says coming soon. As much as I'm hoping for a Monday release, things aren't looking good.

If its going to be the coming week I would bet on Wednesday. Not a big deal though considering the lucky ones that were able to preorder in the states won't see the devices ship to later November. I doubt Canadians won't see the device until December. Might even see a carrier (I believe telus is the only one to confirm) release it before they land in .ca. Either way I'm still pumped for the device.

I haven't been using my credit card just because I'm waiting for this phone to come out!!

I've been trying to get ahold of Google, but so far I haven't gotten any reliable answers...starting to think even themselves don't know when they will release it for Canada
My next big bet would be this coming wednesday, because it seems like the following one (11/12/2014) is the shipping date for the US-based pre-orders from last week.
Telus and Rogers are both going to offer the Nexus 6, but neither has any idea on when.

Yea, I'm guessing Wednesday too... Base on the previous launch...

Really hoping Google can provide some details on this.
I was expecting Nexus 6 would have similar launches as Nexus 4 and 5. In anticipation, I sold my Nexus 5 and went back to the laggy Galaxy S 1.
Not sure how long I need to stay on it..

Based on the n5 it would be 2pm est

Lot's of US users reporting that Google has updated the page saying Stock comes every Wednesday, so seems like they will have stock tomorrow. Let's hope that some of that is allocated to Canada. That lines up with the Early November release. If not I think it will be the 12th

If the US is struggling that much to get the demand up and running, I don't think they'll see Canada as a priority in their list.

Well I got the pushbullet notification that they're "available" again... Store page still says "Not available in your country". Starting to doubt that any Canadian is gonna see one before December at this point.

Best buy pre order

I pre ordered from Best Buy to get the 12 months no interest (I would have used Amazon otherwise). Pre ordered the day it dropped on their site. Anyone know if it's still going to be there tomorrow the 29th? The order page originally said 7/29 but now it says 8/2... Really hoping to pick it up tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding it being there tomorrow. Thanks!

I also pre-ordered from BestBuy, but opted for the Quartz Grey so mine is still two and a half weeks out.
I'd like to assume the date changed because they sold out of the initial pre-orders, meaning if you ordered early enough you should be fine. Of course, that's an assumption. Their whole shipment could have been delayed because of strong sales.
Edit : I just rechecked my order status and it says the Quartz Gray is now slated for an 8/25 release. Bullcrap. This same delay crap is what turned me away from the HTC 10. If it gets another delay I might as well wait until October for the Nexus.

I never saw 8/2 but my order went from "Ready to pickup on 7/29" to "We've received your order" yesterday. I called the store and they said they have it and I can pick it up today. I'm headed there for 10 AM ET. Hopefully it really is there.

I'm in the same boat. I noticed yesterday morning that the "release date" on bestbuy.com had changed to August 2, so I called BB customer support about it. They said it looked like my order had gone from pre-order to back order, which i assume means they don't have them yet, or don't have enough of them to fill my order (placed July[oops] 16). I made it clear I was very unhappy and regretting not going with Amazon, and she eventually gave me a $100 credit to make up for it. I hope they will actually deliver it on August 2 like they're currently saying. The website is now showing 8/2 as the release date for all the stores near me.

Oops, sorry, meant July 16.
Btw, I just checked and they've updated my order from "Processing" to "Preparing for shipping". That certainly suggests they have them in hand now, at least. The status change was made in the last couple hours.

I was gonna flip if I was a month off.

I wouldnt buy from BestBuy if my life depended on it.. They ban people from returning items! Google BestBuy return ban...

Just came from BestBuy where they told me they aren't expecting the Quartz Gray Axon 7 until early to mid October.
I will cancel my pre-order if that's the case. Way too long gone to wait and at that point the Nexus 2016 will be right around the corner.
I'll keep my pre-order through August and that's it.
