[Q] Problem with gosms, cant send to a contact. - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

Hello.
Wrongly, i sent a message to +1 333 44 55 but i had to send to +90 333 44 55. My country code is +90 and Usa is +1. So, i lost money because off country sms is being chargiedmoney.
So then i try to sent +90 333 44 55 again but it again sent to +1
I created a contact and i saved it with +90 and sent it messages but all of them to +1 !
When message is received, in conservation mode i can see the message with same conservation. But in same conservation, when i try to send again, it again sends to +1. I cant change that. I delete contacts, create another contact but it is same.
Please help..

SMS multiple Recipients

My dad bought this O2 XDA IIs a month ago. His previous device was an Ipaq 3xxx and Nokia 9210i. According to him O2 fell short when It comes to sending 1 SMS to multiple recipients coz O2 limits it upto 13 contacts only.
Is there a third party software that can send 1 SMS to a min of 500 recipients? His previous devices are capable though you won't be able to use the phone for almost an hour whenever he does that.
Hope you guys can help.
Thanks
500! ?
is this a how do i spam peoples with sms's post ?
its for my dad's Organization that's why its more or less 2000 members.
what does it have to do with you rudegar anyway, the guy just wants some help. Wincrash, my XDA II lets me send more than 13 (in fact I tried it with 22). Does it only let you add 13 to the list of recipients or does it come up with an error when pressing send??
nothing i just asked a question
it's my right
just as it's the right of the person i ask questions to
to answer or not
what we do is we select more than 20 contact nos then press the window and i think click Send SMS i cant remember and only 13 nos appear in the "To:" field. No error messages occurs. how do you do that 22 recipients?
I hope you guys could suggest a 3rd party software that can solve this problem.
I just click on the SMS icon on Today screen and then NEW SMS. Now click on the icon next to 'My Text' at the bottom of the screen to bring up your contacts. Now just tap each contact you want to send a message to. Like I said it let me add 22 to the list which expands.
Remember I haven't tried actually sending it yet. Good luck
I've just also tried going to my contacts, highlighting about 20 names and then selecting send sms and it successfully added them all the the recipients list.
OK thanks I'll try it out then give feedback.
Thanks again.
do you have YMID? pls pm me if you do or add me [email protected]
Thanks

Changing Text Message length

Just a thought - is it possible to extend the rather limp 160 characters I am curently allowed to send as a text message, or do I have to make do? I only ask because I used my old phone yesterday, and it has 370+ characters to fill per text.
Many thanks in advance,
Stephen
On my XDA Exec if I go above 160 characters it automatically extends it to 306 characters then if I go above that to 459 characters.

160 characters is the limit set by the phone company, not the phone. As far as I know.
Yes 160 is the per message limit, however some operators/phones allow you to write longer messages which are sent as multiple messages, on older phones they would be received literally as 2 messages whereas newer phones would receive it as 1 message.
On the XDA Exec it tells you the number of messages it is sending with teh character limit so it will display something like "172/306 (2 Messages)"

Messaging automatically changes to MMS after 480 characters(3 texts) limit?

Hey there, I've explored every setting available in a stock rom and I could not find the setting to change the "feature" of a text changing to a MMS automatically after 3 texts are inputted in a single message.
was wondering if there's any way to change it other than third party apps (i know handcent works)
thanks!
up.
Also looking for a solution, on the Iphone I could send thousands of characters in a single sms. Why the hell would they put a limit and not let me chose what I am sending ?

you can change this in the sms settings!!!
here every single sms cost 25 cent
so,
25*3=75
and the mms cost 50 cent n u can writ as much as u want on it smart droid lol
my carrier allowed me to send unlimited text so yeah lol
Well here it costs 9.9c per SMS, and 50c for a mms, so really it should be changing it after 5 messages.

Except that there are often plans where you get 1K free SMS, which does not include MMS...
0*3 = 0
1*50 = 50
Same here. I have unlimited txts but I'm paying for mms. Fortunately you can change that option in handcent sms

Sms issues

Hey guys am using a Samsung s7 edge purchased from carphone warehouse in UK on a 24month contract with EE. The issue is that when am sending sms texts a long sms text is auto sending as mms even though I have mms texts set to warning. I receive the warning when I send a actual picture but when I send a message just full of text it auto converts to mms and sends I don't want to install a 3rd party sms app and I pay for unlimited texts I could understand being charged for mms if it was a actual picture but to just send TEXT and as a dep manager of a company am always sending long texts to my staff this is going to cost me a fortune anyone help?
That's the longest run on sentence I have ever seen.

Sorry mate. It was 0545 this morning when I drafted it, and I was on a train with 5 hours sleep haha
Unfortunately this can't be changed in the stock app. That's one of the reasons I don't use it.
If you do decide to go with a 3rd party sms app, I would definately recommend AwSMS it's awesome.

Ahhh I see. I never had this problem with my note 4 so I don't understand why samsung has made this changes. And if I download this AwSMS then I will be able to send my long texts as sms instead of mms and the emoji problem I have seen being encountered will be sms not mms as well?
Just a not that sometimes you have to set the text/sms server number. i.e. in the Netherlands a few:
