Hello, Good news, but still has, in my view, debug and tune something.
browsing the forums (for me the most interesting) I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1875024 information possibilities make calls from the P7500.
Since I have installed this ROM tab, moved to my P7300, 1st I thought, I have 4.0.4, 2nd, what can go wrong is the Modem that is version LQ3 LQ8 and mine is there and I thought we were flasee giving the following result:
You can make calls, but ..... I ran out of Wifi or Bluethoot, but what is said so you can make calls. With this, it is shown that fixed Tab P7300 hardware is enabled to make and receive calls (I was so glad I did not look if received ALSO).
Now I'm just the file to flash Enable Voice Call [Stock] ICS ROM 4.0.4 Build 1.zip because I guess the modem I have of the LQ8 can serve, and that's it.
Although I have not because I went flaseado notice of "batria low" when I will charge enough.
Proven, without putting the CWM_i9103XXLQ3_Modem.zip and only getting Enable Voice Call [Stock] ICS ROM 4.0.4 Build 1.zip, I have: incoming calls, outgoing calls and the wireless works perfectly and Bluetooth.
We will comment if the little one suffers or become angry, not currently brickeo

Hello everyone,
Further to my post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=455840, I am using a now slightly old version of Yevgeny's WM6.1 ROMs on my 614c.
One of the few problems with this ROM, which is otherwise great, is that it does not allow concurrent voice and data usage on 3G. The original HP WM6.0 ROMs do allow this and it was a big plus to be able to stay online when the phone rings.
With Yevgeny's ROM v1.6 (and actually I think his newest one is v1.4 rev 1.2, don't ask me about the numbering), the data connection is dropped as soon as the voice connection is made.
I was in Moscow last year a few times and there was no 3G network (just EDGE), so I guess maybe Yevgeny has not himself noticed this problem.
Is anyone using a WM6.1 ROM that DOES allow you to keep your 3G data connection open when making or receiving a voice call?
I use last ROM from Yevg001 WM6.1 20270 rev 1.2 FIX with Manila 2D and data connection is always on (i use push to mail service). I have no probrem with dropping connection during calls.
sergiorus, this is good news. Are you certain that the data connection is remaining open? For example, do new mails arrive while you are on the phone, or you can navigate to non-cached pages in your web browser during calls?
For me, with the older ROM, the data connection is suspended as soon as a call is initiated or received.
I have just called from my home number to mobile and during this call downloaded ephemerides for GPS and updated Manila weather. All correct.
Sergorius thank you very much for testing this... it sounds like a good result. May I also ask you two other questions?
1) Are you using radio firmware 0.77 or 0.88 (notice on the blue start-up screen)?
2) Do you have the "call waiting problem", which was introduced in 0.88?
To test for the call waiting problem, without the help of another person, call yourself using your ipaq and begin to leave yourself a voice message (I usually count numbers). While you are talking to your voicemail, create a waiting call, by calling your ipaq from your home number. Continue to talk to your voicemail for a few seconds while you hear the beeps in your ear, then clear down on your home line.
When you listen to the voicemail that you left yourself, you will hear your voice at first, then notice that your voice was muted while the incoming call was waiting. This is the call waiting problem.
To work around this problem, which for me made my ipaq unusable, I downgraded my radio firmware to 0.77.
I'd be very interested in your results...
1) I use radio firmware 0.88
2) Omg, just tested, I have this problem too.
I tell about this problem to Yevg001, maybe he know how to fix it.
I work in a company wich has about 90 of this phones and , yes, all have the same problem. (call waiting)
We have FW 0.88.
Please if you find a solution, could you post it?
Thanks in advance

There is a solution in sight.
Hi Guys,
I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S via Odin to Froyo 2.2 with a custom Rom (SztupY_JPM_JP6_NORFS_ROM_0.2), an excellent Rom by the way.
All went well, but I couldn't install some Apps, like Google Sky Map, Crazy Birds, etc.
And so, after a while I Downgrade it to Eclair 2.1 [JM8] with 512 Pit, then upgraded to Froyo 2.2 again [This time with JPM with 803 pit], "all by the book", no custom Rom now.
Everything went well again and my phone was behaving like brand new.
I started installing all the apps I need, games, etc... Until I install an App, "APN On Off", and then it began; I receive a call, (I was near the phone), the phone wake up, it showed the number making the call but didn't rang (no sound on incoming call). Tried everything and nothing!
Uninstall the APN On Off and had sound again on all incoming calls.
I thought that the issue was solved, but no, now every time I install a new App I need to test it to see if the phone continues to have incoming call sound or not, because now it behaves randomly, even when sometimes I install a game the sound is off, but not in the phone, only with incoming calls!
Already uninstall and install Froyo again, formatted the internal and external card, restarted with factory defaults and nothing.
Can someone please tell me if there is some kind of .temp file inside the system files that isn't erased (even after reinstall all again) and is making the phone behaves this way?
What can I do?
Can someone please help me?
Thank you very much Guys*
P.S. Sorry about my English.

Hi Klaus,
Until this date I couldn't find anything to fix this issue, I had an anti-virus installed called NetQin, and when I uninstall it the problem whit the sound in the incoming calls was fixed, but I have a lot of times services that stops suddenly and I still have to check every time I install an app to see if the incoming call sound is ok.
Hi striken,
i also can`t find a fix.
Internet ist full about this failure but no solution for this.
Does your phone ring every time when display is on ?
I just have a hang at Display is off.
Somtimes a short Sound appears with incoming call but just for a second. Hope is not an harddware Bug. Will take the weekend to Work on that. Please give me a replay if you have something found out.
Greetings...

Hi Klaus,
I think that no one knows what's causing this problem in Android.
I read that APN settings can cause android to crash sometimes, (android system stops an application when it's running), and to solve this issue we need to copy a db. to a system folder. I never did that because I know that this problem isn't because APN settings. I already uninstall APN on off and the error subsists.
Regarding your question, the phone doesn't ring when the display is on or off, but sometimes I also hear a short sound in an incoming call but just for a second, then the icon of “sound off” appears and disappears instantly, and the phone stays without incoming call sound.
Cheers,
Striken
Dear striken,
i found a treat with some interest infos. Mostly users say that they have this Problem in dual mode G S M + W C D M A.
I switched my Galaxy to G S M and W C D M A only and it seems to run perfekt.
I checked this ten times and every call is ringing.
Its a Software bug!!!!!!
Check the gsm symbol above during an incoming call, it must disapear. Next step is to shut down package data. (no internet).
Check out your phone Provider
about your home Signal.
I living in a good umts environment.
So i will Test wcdma only for the Next week.

Hi Klaus,
It's a good thing that you found what the problem was. So it's an Operating System issue.
I installed Froyo 2.2 again but this time the JP8 Original Vodafone Release, and all the problems with my phone disappeared.
If you want I can explain you how to do it. You also need to reinstall you OS again to solve all that issues.
Cheers,
Striken
Hi Striken,
those News are my favorite.
Where did you get the vodafone Froyo? Is this a branded OS?
By the way, all my attempts to solve the problem are not satisfying.

Hi Striken,
i flashed my galaxy this way and test it a couple of days. Youre right, everything works fine and all incoming calls are ringing.
Many thanks for this.

Hi Klaus,
I'm happy your Galaxy is working fine
Mine is still 100%
Did you install with Odin 1.3? And about CSC file, did you find one for your country?
What Rom did you install?
Tell me everything
Cheers,
Striken
Hi Striken,
yes i use Odin3 v1.3 for flashing.
OS Parts:
CODE_I9000BUJP8.tar.md5
MODEM_I9000BUJP5.tar.md5
CSC_I9000DBTJP3.tar.md5
(German/English only)
At my first attempt i just flashed CODE and MODEM witout CSC because i thougt it was included in one of them and i can choose this over the dialer behind.
After reboot the Galaxy starts up with German Language, so i was happy and don't thing about later.
But in consequence of missing CSC i can't download any app over the market for two days.
Can you suggest this? Nacked Phone just System apps.
To solve the market problem i used the SGS-Tool app (4.0.6)
from a colleague at work over
E-Mail (Uhhhahh an SE-X10).
Here i saw that CSC is unknown and i flashed just the CSC with Odin.
Now i'm very happy with the best Phone ever.
The first app in my Galaxy is GDE 0.2.0 a pretty nice Homescreen with cube design and three gray button below only.
Next i wanted to root with ryanZA OCLF but it seems the OS will not support this, so i use voodoo 5. Works, but not so fast as ryanZA.
Can you confirm this?
What is your favourite?
By the way, what is your country?
Salute
Klaus

Hi,
This is a member of Viber's Development Team.
We haven't yet tested Viber on this device. We are working hard on testing Viber on different devices. Please check out our list of officially supported devices at: http://helpme.viber.com/index.php?/...oid-compatible-with-viber-system-requirements which we keep updating.
We would be happy to receive your feedback as a tester of Viber on this device via our support team at: http://helpme.viber.com/
Thanks!

yes,Motorola Flipout with Android Eclair 2.1 when make a call the microphone don't work and it seems like its mute.
please do something Viber member
thank you very much
We will certainly look into it, but please understand that Flipout is quite a rare device, that's still running officially on Android 2.1
VoIP support in Flipout is not so stable, and this is probably the source of the problem. As I explained, we will try to find a solution, but we can't guarantee it will happen soon unfortunately

FYI, I have found that the other party can hear me for a few seconds when I mute/unmute repeatedly. It is very random, I will mute/unmute a few times and it works or sometimes it won't. Very weird.
The only thing I can suggest to you is to gather many friends and together open tickets to our support team (at http://support.viber.com). Since FlipOut is quite a rare device, a change will happen sooner only if many people show their demand for Viber.
I'm afraid that there is not much more I can do to help
Viber mute on Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000

Please make sure neither you nor the other side are connected to networks that might be blocking Viber (for example - a router running a firewall).
1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connected to different WiFi networks. Does it work now?
2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled on your routers or firewalls:
TCP: 5242 + 4244
UDP: 5243 + 9785
(if you are not sure how to enable ports, contact your router manufacturer)
Alternately, the reason for this problem could be the fact that you're using quite an old version of Android (2.1). Have you considered upgrading?
I'm having Bluetooth problems (XDA forum post).
So you don't have to read that whole post to answer this post: basically it seems as if my headset is spontaneously losing part of it's connection or is somehow interfering with the call (call connects but callers can't hear each other).
If you do want more details, the above link has more, but here's my question for this post:
Can I try different kernels on my rooted my Sprint SG4 (Android 4.2.2)?
And would that be a sensible thing to try, given a Bluetooth connectivity problem?
Should I try something else?
Three questions. I have three questions...
ofcourse you can try other kernels. just make sure you download a TOUCHWIZ kernel and not an AOSP one. it may need to be compatable with your baseband..md5..nc6..ng5..whatever...i dunno..ive never used touchtwiz, hacked my phone in the parking lot when i got it lol...check out the kernels forum and it will tell you compatability
Hey all,
some of us suffer from the robotic voice issue and the discussion in the dev forums gets out of control, so I decided to open an own thread for this topic.
I hope this will reduce the off-topic talk in the ROM threads (which is against xda rules by the way ). Also this will maybe help the devs to find a solution eventually as they dont have to search through the 500pages in the dev forum to find any useful comments on the topic.
Further I would like to share how to live with the problem
For many users this issue is a dealbreaker for using a ROM. I personally adapted to it as those ROMs/builds without the issue are extremely poor when it comes to performance and especially battery life for me. The current version of the device tree massively improves those too aspects at cost of bringing the robotic voice issue, which is good so, as the issue only affects a few and it can be easily worked-around.
What you can do to work-around the issue:
turn network mode to 2G
Go to Settings => Cellular networks => Preferred network type => 2G
Of course this means that your mobile internet will be way slower. All background service will run without any problems. Only when you for example stream music or videos online or maybe want to use the browser (in fact, therefore it wouldnt even really be necessary) you would have to switch to 3G/4G.
I have the robotic voice issue on every outgoing call when on 3G/4G and never had the problem on 2G. So this is a very stable workaround :good:
Also I have found an app called "Toggle Network Type 5.0" PlayStore - xda
It requires root but using a custom ROM that shouldnt be a deal-breaker. With this app, you can create an widget that toggles between network modes that you can select. So for example to toggle between 2G and 3G/4G
That means it is only one tap on a widget from ready to take a call to highspeed mobile internet :fingers-crossed:
use dual-boot
I'mTheMr released a dualboot app for our device G800F xda-thread. I am using it quite a while now and never had any problems with it. The ROMs are installed to internal storage. Having a device with 12gb internal storage this is absolutely no problem. You can access files, photos etc. from all ROMs.
So you have one ROM (works with rooted stock ROM as well!!!) that you can rely on, say your work partition and when you want to use a custom ROM with all its fancy features and the robotic voice issue is atm no deal-breaker you just choose your secondary in the app and reboot =)
I really hope that one of the devs will take a deeper look into that issue sooner or later. I can put up with it, but getting rid of this problem once and for all would of course be way nicer.
What we know about the issue (or think to know :silly: ):
As I said before it is connected to the latest changes in the device tree by hennymcc, which switched the phone libs. Considering that it doesnt appear on 2G, one can assume that it is the part that controls the mobile data / voLTE. That also means that basically every new ROM has the same bug because they all share hennymcc's device tree.
The ROMs that have the robotic voice issue are:
CM 13 (there are builds that dont have it, but I am speaking of the latest build)
Resurrection Remix
Tesla
PAC-ROM 5
ROMs that dont have the robotic voice issue:
Bliss ROM (latest build used the older version of device tree)
CM 12.1
I have this issue with every outgoing call others only calling specific numbers/providers and most of the users dont have the problem at all. So, it could be related to the provider one uses or more precisely the frequencies your provider uses.
And thats about all information I can provide to the topic. Feel free to add things that I forgot to mention or just dont know and when someone wants to have any specific logs just tell what you need and I am sure there will come a lot then I will of course add a call log with and without robotic voice (2g/3g) but probably not today.
PS: Please excuse the noob language used here and there, I am obviously no dev
