is there a Paranoid Android version of v2,0 available anywhere? - Epic 4G General

I have 1.99 PA on my phone now but looking to upgrade to 2,00 or 2,10,,, I see it on the official website but can't find a version for the Epic 4G.. Is there one even available yet for the Epic??

How many threads are you going to start asking the same question? All you have to do is go into the dev section and look at PA thread. There is mention on the second to last page that it might be coming soon.

I am still very new to all of this and I am only looking for guidance.. I just assumed that since I got no response to my first question I would ask again.. excuse me if I have offended you by my lack of knowledge...I am coming from a rom that has had consistent nightly releases and wanted to try something new.. I do thank you for your tip to point me in the right direction but not the arrogance.........

Here is guidance:
Rule 5: Post a question once
PM the only developer working on it in the only thread.

Thanks!
They all work. Every single one in this section. Future questions should be asked be asked in the Q&A section, or general section. Just a heads up. This is development section

Not quite true. The desire HD builds don't have a camera yet, for instance.
I suggest the OP reads each build thread carefully before trying, and searches before asking questions

Read each thread? Lol...if he did that, he wouldn't have created this thread...but anyway, most builds work. They all share similar things. All HD build have no camera is the exception.
For me, almost every Rom in this sub forum working really great...(sure in HD based, they still unstable)...
Just try a couple rom, and you will find out which suit u best....
This, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824601 is probably the most up to date cyanogen build.

[Actual CM7 Nightlies] [Not molested] [The Source]

This is the link to the CM7 nightlies (which includes EVO aka Supersonic)

This is the link to the latest Gingerbread Google APPS for the nightlies:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version/Google_Apps
There is a thread in general for the nightlies, thanks for the good intention but, people is going to flame you most likely and cm only updates his thread when there is RC for CM

Not sure why it would be in general considering this is highly development and I might add HIGHLY functional. It is a great ROM. But I wanted it in here because there isnt an EVO specific thread on it. I also figured it important to get the google apps link in there because that is not even easy to find from the cyanogen site itself.
People can flame all they want, I dont care. For each flamer, there are probably 10 others of whom it helped.
I edited my post as I didn't realise there was a nightly for CM7 in general. I just rarely look in general.

How is the thread not evo specific when it is in the evo general forum? Way to waste space.

I created one right after CM6 nightlies started back in July.

I certainly agree that it isn't going to be super noticeable since it is not in the dev section. I spend a lot of time maintaining the OP to consistently provide useful and relatively up to date info, since it is frustrating to not be able to find that stuff. Cyanogen (and occasionally other devs) check in to that nightly thread or the official thread in dev once in a while to see about any issues.
Cyanogen won't create a thread in dev unless he has a "stable" (RC or full) release, and I think the (very) rough moderation policy is that any thread in dev needs to be created by the developer. I created it in dev, and after a few days it was moved to Q&A. It was there for months and then suddenly moved to General. I'm not complaining, the mods here have a ton of work to keep stuff clean. And to their credit, there is a more official thread at the CM forums for the nightlies.

It is in the Evo -> General section, so it is Evo specific. The top of the op has a set of links for nightlies, gapps, etc. They are not in a formatted block so they show up properly on the Tapatalk/XDA app.
Someone else created another one around the time the CM7 builds started spinning.
Hope I don't come across like a dickhead that thinks my thread is more important that this one, I just want to provide what I can to be helpful, and prevent some of the duplicate effort we get.

Not to happy....

So I tried to post in a ROM thread and get a message saying I'm not aloud cause I'm under 10 post and no expert but yet I was able to post there the other day twice which was no repost or a noob question. So now I can't post a question that still has not been posted by anyone else or has been posted anywhere. So guess I need to just make random post bout 7 more time so that can make me a expert at knowing what's going on just to post in certain threads ... Cool
What did you want to post? They had an announcement a few days ago about why new members (under ten posts) would no longer be able to post in the development section. Nothing to get upset over.

Well like I said I was able to post twice just yesterday them now I can't and I brought it up to a buddy and he explained to me bout the new rule but kinda sux fir people like me I just sit back and wait cause most the time someone else always ends up asking questions that I have I mean I'm no expert but at the same time I know what I'm doing just by reading most of what's going on. But the question I had was I'd anyone knew of anything bout CM putting in more themes in the rom itself or there gonna be a new thread where we can dl them from? Also what if I had a problem to report bout a rom but couldn't post in the right thread am I to make a new one or sit back and wait to see if anyone ever post the same problem? Thanx for the help/advice

Generally the themes are in the "Themes and Apps" section. I think they figure that if you've gone through the process of rooting your phone, learning to use adb and flashing ROMs and kernels you've probably exceeded ten posts. They just want to keep the development sections clean so the developers stick around. I happen to think that's a great idea.

All you have to do is post ten times before you can post there, and if you are here enough contributing that shouldn't be so hard...?
It's a great idea. If you are going to root your phone and flash ROMs, hopefully you've taken the time to know everything involved in doing so.
Too many root their phones and have no idea what they are doing. It's not that hard to read and watch video to learn how things work.

Its kinda hard to contribute when u can't post in the rite thread. That's the whole point of this rant but also to just get me up to 10 post so when I do have a question or something that has not been brought to the table I can contribute!

Unfortunately, 90% of the posts by new users are in the wrong thread when they post to the development section. If you are in the 10% that do know what that section is for, then great, make your 10 posts and unlock the door. And thank you for contributing! Once you have been for awhile, you'll start to see for yourself why they made that change.
If it was a question then.. it shouldn't been in development
There's your problem from the start
Imo I think they should make the post count higher to post in development or even better they should hafta get a mod to approve if your allowed to

I'm down for a higher post count, 10 can be too simple, and people can just post a bunch of stupid ish in random forums to get to it. If you have a specific question about a rom, chances are you haven't read through the 30+ pages of that thread. So instead of posting about it again, search JUST the rom thread, not the android dev. forum, with 1-2 keywords of your problem, more likely than not, you will find a fix for your problem, or see that it is still unresolved.

I've been coming to XDA for about 6 months now, but I haven't been posting on the threads because I'm able to solve issues myself. It sucks that they just added this when there are plenty of people who are mature enough to search and solve their problems without complaining about not being able to find a fix. It seems like, once again, the ignorance of few have ruined it. I guess I'll just have to answer some questions until I get up to 10 posts so I can actually give input on bugs and other ROMs I test.

XDA answered your questions and provided ROMs to flash for your enjoyment for 6 months... I think 7 more informative/helpful posts is the least you can do to give back.
I'm also working my way up to 10 so that I can join in the CM7 discussion on this forum.
That is a ridiculous rule. It only does one thing it keeps some spamer or troll from sighing up and do his dirty deeds quick. Nothing else.
I have over hundred post and a title like "senior member", like that's supposed to be anything. I can tell you right now I don’t no my head from my ass. ~ & worse; I think I'm funny.
Vibrant Axura 2.2 Voodoo 5 JL5 via the XDA app
It has nothing whatsoever to do with spamming and trolling. If it was to control spam and trolls, don't you think they would have applied some kind of rule to ALL forums and not just the developer forums?
It's blatantly obvious that it's to keep people who don't know any better from posting off-topic non-development questions in the development forums. By the time somebody makes 10 posts, they've hopefully figured out where to post things.
I honestly can't believe this is even an issue... its 10 freaking posts. Get over it.

There is already a 4.4 thread, use it.. Redundant threads just create a mess of the first page where it ends up having OVER 9000 threads discussing the same exact thing.

Oh ok thanks, no questions, was just seeing if there was an update I missed.
Edit: My post here was misworded and therefore taken as inappropriate. My apologies. The point was to agree that the bajarom thread had been replaced with the announcement of better things being focused on. The thread continued for a bit, supporting those still running the last release of baja, but people kept asking about the new rom instead of keeping with the topic, resulting in the thread being locked. The lesson learned is that any future questions, even pertaining to specific roms when their threads are closed, can be placed in the q&a section.
This is now irrelevant unless your sticking with bajarom. As Kenny has pointed out in the next post, the "better things" have arrived! Great job Bajasur, beans, and the rest of the alliance team, thanks for your dedication!!
