[Q] Defy with Defy+ kernel

Hi all,
i've a problem with my Moto Defy.
Some days ago i tried to flash it and I make lot of mistakes. Now I have on it the CM-72 Nightly FOR MOTOROLA DEFY+
What should I do to reinstall the version for normal moto defy and not defy plus without bricking? It's a good idea doing that?
And what should I do to use the camera?

And for the camera what should i do?

If you have red lense, follow the steps of the thread, if not you cant use the camera

[Q] Anybody tried "Kang ROM" for Defy/Defy+ ??

I´m not sure if the version run on my defy with the defy+ kernel ...!!
have anybody tried this romversion?

KANG means nothing but its an Experimental Build (Nightly) .. If u have GB kernel try Epsylon3 CM7 Roms for Defy+ (GB kernel) ..
and regarding KANG if the build is named Addressing Defy or Jordan, then its for Defy.
and if its named addressing GB kernel or Defy+ then its for Defy+ !!

Thanks for the informations I know about epylons3 CM7.2 nightly builds but on his versions the camera doesn´t work 100%! It´s overhead on my defy.. so it doesn´t usable for me

...I´ve tried out the "KANG" version of CM7 and it doesn´t work on the defy+ kernel !
but the headline of kangs thread means that it was also for the defy+. Thats not true!
On my brothers Defy the ROM run very well and smooth!
..I hope i can flash this ROM very soon!

Is it possible to make a "extra" version for the defy+/defy with new kernel ??
Because i get crazy about the new kernel and the nighlty builds (epsylon3/quarx)
for defy+ works very good and fast but the camera is overhead.
I´ve tried to replace the camera.apk from another build, but it doesn´t help me to fix this problem.

i think it just mod the lockscreens,i prefer Ep3 's builds.

If it is given that it is for defy+..then i suppose u need to flash GB kernel along with the ROM [may be that ROM is having Froyo kernel]..try it.. that may work..and right now Eppy and Quarx are working on Defy CM 7.2 & CM9..once the boot loader is unlocked , i think defy+ will have a lot of scope..think they are facing some problem with GB kernel..

You can use Epsylon3 last nighty simply adding those patchs.

ok, i´ve tried it with the newest nightly (7.2) for defy+
and the two patches from [] AL [] (big thanks!)
-made stresstest, etc., testphotos! and wow it works perfecly!
Cyanogenmod is still a fast, beautiful rom !

[Q] Wants to downgrade Defy+

Hello Friends,
I am using Defy + (MB526) running 2.3.6 Rom.
I want to downgrade my defy+ to froyo for MIUI rom. I tried many things to downgrade but i am unable to downgrade.Yesterday i was totally dead my defy+ but thanks to XDA i found the solution to live again my defy+.
I just want to know Can I downgrade my defy+.If yes then can I again come back to GB kernel ?
Please tell me the correct method to downgrade my defy+

Hi, I have a Defy MB525 Green lens with BL7 and how everbody knows the cam and the battery is no longer working. there is any way out that makes at least the battary work properly? I'm completely desperate.

my battery was work but my camera dosent work maby im on bl6 ,what is the defrent of bl7 and bl6 ,how i know which one is my defy ?!

i flash BL7 root ,after that flash cm9 defy+, u mean my camera didnt work for ever ?

If you are on BL7, you can kiss your camera good bye... at least for now, there is no way of downgrading from BL7 and SOC module does not work on GB kernel

Defy+ Stock SBF on Defy

Hi, my question is: it's posible to install a Defy+ Stock ROM (SBF) on normal Defy (MB525)? Somebody has probed?
If the answer is Yes, what's the benefit?

BUT JUST AFTER YOU MAKE SOME MODIFICATIONS IN IT
NEVER FLASH A FULL DEFY+ SBF ON DEFY(special on green lense)
if you dont know what is need to modified
DONT TRY!!!!

for an error i flash the GB kernel (only for red lens users) but my phone was a Defy+...what kernel should i install now for flash the last cm10 from Quarkx?
please help me :|
