Hey guys,
I ve searched the forums for this question but couldn't find anything.....
So at the danger of sounding retarded, here goes, how do you access your browsing history (stock browser)? I tried the usual ''file://history'' and had no luck

When you say stock browser do you mean chrome? I dont have my nexus yet(its on the ups truck scheduled for delivery today) so I dont know which browsers are on it. I came across this article for chrome. Hope it helps. http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39...-clear-browsing-history-on-chrome-for-mobile/

I could have sworn that the N10 I smoked had the standard Android stock browser... The one I have now doesn't seem to have that one, but it does have chrome. When I set this up I pulled in my apps from Google backup which was set up by my gnex and that had both installed. I'm not complaining, I like chrome fine... I'm just wondering.
Update: never mind... As usual, with such questions, I stumbled across the answer 5 minutes after I posted. Sorry for the noise.

I have adobe 11.1 installed and used dolphin, boat, ocean, and chrome browsers. But whatever I do I can't get live.lifechurch.TV to load like it does on my laptop. I can get it to show the video but no chat box (which shows up during one of the showing times on the video). I've searched the forums and no one else visits this site on their N10. I'm new here so take it easy haha. Thanks for any help.

Make sure you have your browser set to desktop and not mobile.
Also chrome isn't compatible with flash so that's out, for boat and dolphin it's under settings and user agent, for ocean I think you can just request desktop site in the menu.

Do you have an AD blocking app? Try reversing the setting and uninstall the app. This should fix it

That's pretty good - posting while dead.
If you insist on staying unrooted, then your only option is to install a different browser from the Google Play store
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=web+browser&c=apps
Getting just the .apk file for the AOSP stock browser and side-loading it won't work - the pre-installed BrowserProviderProxy.{apk, odex} applications in the stock ROM will prevent it from working correctly.
FWIW, the AOSP browser only "kinda" works even on a stock ROM (even when BrowserProviderProxy.{apk, odex} have been removed from /system/app) - it freezes quite a lot - especially when browsing XDA ... LOL
But I know where you are coming from - Chrome really needs to be able to do text reflow on a 7" tablet (and IMO the bookmark thumbnails are much nicer in the AOSP browser too).
Guys I'm hoping someone can explain the following.....
I was looking for a simple RSS reader, I'm sat next to my mate, he's got a gnex too and suggests greader by Google inc, I can see it on his phone and in his market.
I've searched my play store and have a greader app but it's by noinnion even though the asp looks similar to the ogival Google product
Either way I cannot see the original Google version of the reader and he can? Why is this?
Were both in the same geographical area, same os version build, bought them from the same place and have the same regional settings etc but I get totally dif search results
Wtf?!

I've read Google were going to remove it; it seems they have now as it's not on mine either.

I just got a Nexus 4 which is nice but I'm having some issue with fonts in the Chrome browser when reading forums. Basically some posts will have the font size quite large/normal but then the next post will have the font size tiny making it unreadable.
At the moment I'm completely stock, only upgraded to 4.3 and not even rooted yet.
I really like Chrome in all other respects but this issue is making it unusable for me. I'm wondering if installing a custom rom might solve the issue as some are reporting this happens and some are not. Apparently this issue didn't exist in v18 but we are now up to v29 in Chrome.
This problem happens on xda (the website version) too. If you can tell me if this happens to you or jot and if it doesn't then what rom/configuration you're running it would be much appreciated.
This happens to me as well.
Even stranger though, whilst on the XDA web page, when I try to scroll/zoom in, the page just keeps reloading constantly and this only happens on the XDA forum no other web pages.
Hence why I'm now using the xda app
