So it finally hit the uk and 859.99 us dollar for the 16gb and 1125 us for 32gb holy moly. That's w.o contract. With is 599us for 16 jesus

You also have to remember that UK prices don't directly transfer to US pricing even through currency conversion. I suspect that the sgs II will be between $500 and $550 in the US at launch off contract.

Yea but the US versions will take apart a lot of features to lower the price. I remember the original EU galaxy s was almost 700!

Not necessarily. I will bet you can find an imported eu sgs II for around $550 pretty soon after it's launched.

What's the next device I should get?

OK, so I have had my Vibrant for about 9 months or so and want a new android device. Trying to figure out what I should get? Thinking about doing it in the next 2 weeks. I would like to have a duel core processor and a decent screen and maybe Gingerbread built in. Any ideas? T-Mobile don't seem to have very many devices with these specs! Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks a million!

I was looking at the HTC sensation tonight but I am not so sure now. It has a bootloaders for now. I am on month to month contract but I plan to be on a contract before AT &T takes over.

Might wait for this Samsung Hercules Device. If it's even real! Sounds to good to be true and $350 is way to much Moolah!

Get the Hercules. It have all the specs you want.

I have my streak 5 but I can't use it on my network so its up for sale on the classifieds , I got to offers on a trade a galaxy s 4g or a streak 7 , what would u guys do ?

I've read some bad reviews on the streak 7. You might want to do some research on it before you make a move you'll regret.

I even offered to give her my old Xperia Play to get her off iOS, but nah she insisted on paying £500 for a sim unlocked overpriced iPhone.

My gf has an SII, she's waiting for the contract to allow a cellphone upgrade, she's pretty happy with her SII, specially since I started tweaking it to her liking. Her upgrade is due pretty soon but she's thinking on a Note II or waiting to see when the S4 is coming to get it.

I love my galaxy nexus. So much in fact i bought an s3 and after a couple of months went back to my nexus.
Is it worth the upgrade/leaving verizon?

In my opinion, yes! The Nexus 4 has much better top of the line specs. The specs of the Galaxy Nexus are starting to get outdated. The best part of the N4 is the price.

I would look into the coverage on other carriers first. I love the Nexus 4 but T-Mobile is just awful in my area.

I've been happy since I made the switch. The nice thing is that with the specs of the nexus 4 it will still be relevant a year from now IMHO. It's not like buying a phone only to have something come out a week later that's better.
Plus I get great coverage on T-mo... better than Sprint and Verizon. Of course that depends on your area. And if you're in an area that has a cell carrier that uses LTE band 4 you can always open that up on the phone. However, the HSPA+ has produced great speeds in my area, greater than 10mb down on average.
Highly recommended phone, so much that I ordered one for my wife a few days ago.
