You also have to remember that UK prices don't directly transfer to US pricing even through currency conversion. I suspect that the sgs II will be between $500 and $550 in the US at launch off contract.

OK, so I have had my Vibrant for about 9 months or so and want a new android device. Trying to figure out what I should get? Thinking about doing it in the next 2 weeks. I would like to have a duel core processor and a decent screen and maybe Gingerbread built in. Any ideas? T-Mobile don't seem to have very many devices with these specs! I was looking at the HTC sensation tonight but I am not so sure now. It has a bootloaders for now. I am on month to month contract but I plan to be on a contract before AT &T takes over.
Might wait for this Samsung Hercules Device. If it's even real! Sounds to good to be true and $350 is way to much Moolah!

Not a bad tablet for free, although I imagine they will make you get a data contract for it. It has the same display the Nexus 7 has, a 1280x800 at 7". Only downside is its running HC which is still much better than GB on a tablet. Although XDA has a fix for that as there appears to be unofficial CM9/CM10 builds out there:

I'm due for an upgrade next month. I can't decide between the EVO LTE or SGS3. There is a rumor floating around about a Galaxy Nexus 2 that would have a 1.5Ghz processor, 8MP camera and 32GB of internal storage. I know the LG Nexus device is coming, but I've never been a huge fan of LG, and I really like the Galaxy Nexus. Hardware wise, the supposed Nexus 2 would be on par with the SGS3, at least at a glance.
Edit: Just read a recent article on the Galaxy Nexus 2. Doesn't look all that promising, really. Looks like the SGS3 with a microSD slot.
