I am looking for a bookstyle case with a clear plastic mirror. The only case I am able to find is...
censored by the XDA forums..
CaseCrown Neoprene Vinyl Screen Case for Google Nexus 7 Tablet on Amazon
I do not know of any others. Maybe some of you guys know?
It is basically a case with a clear plastic cover.

Should I get the screen protector or bumper case? I don't want the glass to break.
I'm getting the bumper and a screen protector. Cases are too unwieldy for my taste

If the bumper case come with carbon fiber backing, pretty sure I will get one.
A bumper cas with some sort of backing might be interesting, but I don't see much of a point with bumpers that are just going around the edges.
If the bumper case isn't too bulky I will get it. I can't stand bulky cases like otterbox etc..
i'm planning to get those book-style case, so no need for screen protector.
Where's the vote option for both?
I plan on having a bumper case with a Best Skin ever full body skin... Hopefully it all fits :X

Elliot, are you getting rid of your Infuse too?
I will probably get both, but for sure a bumper case. If I feel the need for a screen protector, I have used ZAGG before and I like there screen protectors, just gives it sort of an orange peel look to it though.
Both maybe,Screen protector for sure.Have destroyed too many displays
The Thickest case available in the market, the back glass breaks easily, the verge review is a proof, the phone then looks too ugly, i have destroyed cells by dropping and would not like to take chances with this phone

Getting ready to pick up my N7, and I think I've talked myself into buying a solid case rather than "wasting" money on a random store's warranty plan.
I'd really like something that protects the screen well, so I'm leaning towards the Speck FitFolio since it has a screen cover. Problem is, I look at pictures and reviews of the Seidio Active, and that thing looks like it could bounce all over the floor and never let the N7 break (and I love the look of it). I don't like the detached cover of the Seidio though (I dislike separate pieces to keep track of), so I was wondering if a Seidio with a simple screen film protector would be as good as the Speck.
Any opinions? Anyone have experience with both of these that could contrast them against each other?
Honestly, the official Asus cover is the best one I've found, it's nice and thin, does a perfect job protecting the tablet, and an attached screen cover.

Hello,
I recently got the Nexus 4 and am pondering which case to get?
I am extremely worried about the glass back and am wondering if the bumper case will do any good in protecting the Nexus.
I drop my phone sometimes, usually the phone slides and scratches a great deal. An example is when I went running with my HTC EVO LTE, and dropped it. I dropped it on the road and it scratched up the whole front of the phone. Of course, I had no case on at that time.
What are the best cases I can buy for the Nexus 4 without it becoming huge? I prefer the bumper case, but am wondering if it will offer any real protection.
Poetic Bumper Case
Rearth Slim
Diztronic

Ionic guardian case. It's very similar to otter box, but a lot cheaper. Very good at protecting the phone, it's a beast!
Maybe a bit ugly for some though.

if you want a slim case then best option would be Rearth case. I have it and it is very slim almost feels like without one but protected
Definitely the original bumper. If only there is stock though
I would also go with the original bumper.

I would go with google bumper and screen protectors on front and back... dont use the zagg lol... I am using matte ghost armor on the back and the spigen on the front for a dynamic duo lol
If you are prone to dropping phones the only thing that will protect it is a full coverage case like an otterbox, which will add bulk. I have the poetic bumper and it offers enough protection for me but I have yet to drop a smartphone.
How would you guys rate the Poetic Bumper in terms of protection? I've too decide between that and the Ringke case.
Just so you are aware, there is an entire Nexus 4 Accessories Forum here on XDA... tons of reviews and information on cases.
stock google bumper! looks sexy, the others just don't compare! course i don't have one

Some people complain about it being too bulky but I never used one so I cannot comment
Looks like a nice case indeed

Hey folks,
Has anyone here ever tried to remove micro-scratches/swirls from the bezel? My bezel got scratched and it annoys me every time I see the phone since the scratch is pretty noticeable under the right angle.
I tried some car polishers that were lying around my house (Kit Scratch Out, Mother's Plastic Polish, etc.) but no luck.
A friend of mine said that he managed to remove similar scratches off his PS3 using some product called Scratch Ex or something -- I can't quite remember the name, LOL -- should I try it?
I'm surprised you getting all loco over a itsy bitsy scratch. Here's a solution, buy a bumper or a case to cover it up. I really doubt all those liquid substances will work. It's not like removing scratches on a CD or DVD.

I'm not sure if you can remove scratches from metal so easily
Blue Magic metal polish would probably do the trick. The bumper is actually what caused the scratches on my bezel, so now I go nekkid

The bezel is made of metal? I doubt it. Imho it is plastic with a chrome finish.
Quick question, I was interested in a Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit case for my N4, but I was wondering if the case would lift up my screen protector (using a Extreme Guard protector, covers the glass edge to edge). If anyone with some experience with the case and a full covered screen protector let me know how it worked out for you I'd appreciate it.

I have a cruzerlite case. It does not have the lip around the edges. So it won't cause the screen protector lifts.

Anyone else have any info on this? I'd like to get some more opinions or info from more people so I can get a good general idea if it does lift screen protectors or not before I purchase cause shipping to Canada is damn expensive from Cruzerlite. From the videos I've seen it seems like it would since it covers some bezel so I would assume when putting it on it would, but if it's a tight enough fit I'm assuming it may or may not lift the screen protectors (wet apply types) either if put on properly right away,
You will need to head over to the accessory department of the Nexus 4 forum.
