Hello everyone.
I bought HD2 a few days ago, have an wildfire too ,and its rooted and i know to put new roms in it but in HD2 its different. I bought it used , it came with a NAND ROM HD2ICS V2.4 installed.. I would love to put in a new rom ( like sense 3.5 or miui) but i dont know really how to do in order to not ruin everything, so i would love if someone of you guys could explain to me the procces of flashing a new rom, the best wold be on msn, skype or facebook, because its easy and fast , or on email, you choose.

Power off the phone, then press and hold the power button until the MAGLDR screen appears. If it doesn't appear, you have cLK and I can't help you. If you do indeed have MAGLDR, just follow the instructions here to flash the correct CWM recovery partition size and a ROM. You should already have the prerequisites.
When i do so it gets a black screen and on top says : magldr v1.13 and then boots again so should i follow now the instructions off the link you gave me?

but when i hold down the power button, it appears this screen ,a few lines appear and then it boots, i dont get any menu?
Literally don't let go of the power button until a menu with options on it comes up. You scroll through these with the volume buttons.

So here's the story i used this guide to try and put andriod on my phone.

problem i went throght all the steps till i reached step 6, once step 6 was done my screen was stuck on stick together screen, can someone please help me? my computer won't recognize my phone at all to even try and reflash it, also i tried to put it in bootloader mode but nothing, can anyone help me =/
It's not gonna go past the Stick Together screen, because task29 erases and formats your ROM space. Your phone has no ROM on it. To enter bootloader, yurn your phone all the way off, and hold the VOL - (down) button while turning the power back on by pressing the 'End Call' button. Just continue with the steps in the guide, even though my opinion, flash a good Windows Mobile ROM, and just put whatever Android build you want to have on your sd card. Then you have the best of both worlds, Android and WinMo too. There's really no reason to limit yourself by using the ROM

As long as you have a X.XX.50.XXX radio and not a X.XX.51.XXXX (a 2.08.XXXX radio or greater is what you want) then you're good to run any Android build you want. I would suggest one of the ones in my sig, they're great, or one of the RAM builds, those are very very fast

First i´m spanish and...sorry for my english is some poor...
I had a hd2 with the Typhoon ROM set with the Recovery and magldr 1.13 ... after downloading a number of applications gave me an error, I continue to reset the screen to start drawing android stood in the midst of .... and would not go away ... I changed the rom and the way to a more current ... and I got to work with the installation ... But my surprise was when I can not install all the steps still doing well ...
I can´t do a tricolor screen, i don´t know why... and i tried with all types of roms... The first rom of Coutulla, Daf roms, Recovery roms...recovery roms and DAF roms stops when are loading and in the screen are the android or logos...
The roms don´t load...
Please, i really need help... i don´t know what else i can do... My hd2 is european and the operator is Movistar... i never had a problem... but now i are ****...

Try the HR (hard reset)
turn the phone off
press and hold volume up & down together and power up the phone same time
That should hard reset your phone
Than press and hold volume down and power on the phone and that should bring u into the bootscreen mode

Nothing... only load the magldr....
but the buttons are ok because i can move on the magldr menu
so than try this-
switch off the phone
take off the battery cover and find the red like small button under it. press and hold it for few seconds than try the first step again

How about reinstalling android all over again? Maybe that can solve the problem.
If you are willing to do it, just go into bootloader screen, flash task 29, flash Magldr 1.13, flash CWM (dependent on the partition lay out required by the relevant rom), and flash the ROM (Nandroid).

as far as i remember it was the volume down button to get into booloader.

I don´t understand all...do you say me taht install android again??¿ i tried...with recovery mode, DAF mode and data2ext4.... but nothing....
Are you sure you're just downloading ROM's and using the same Clockworl for all? All ROM's have different partition layout requirements for Clockwork. Check out the ROM thread and look for something about the Clockwork partition size. I usually just Ctrl Find then look for 'CWM'.
If that's not the case, you may be downloading ROM's which need an Ext3/4 partition on the SD card. Do you have an Ext partition?
Well you have the partition, so the only thong it could be, quite possibly is the wrong Clockwork size. As far as I know, I think there's an included file in the TyphooN thread that has a CWM inside it. Download it, flash it via the .daf file, then go back in to recovery and flash the TyphooN .zip again.

Reading other posts I see you have tried everything, so I suggest you go back to the start, i.e install a Win 6.5 rom from HTC using the SD card method which will erase everything on your phone(including HSPL) and revert your phone back to factory status..
and then try again, use a Android NAND rom which does not required any ext/data2sd/apps2sd partition by default and see where u get with it.

I think that i made good the partitions... but any romload compleate.... Recovery don´t run, when i install a DAF Rom the load stop in te first screen.....
And i can´t do the tricolor screen... the buttons are well...but the tricolor screen no....

Hello all good people. My screen suddenly stoped working.. hardware buttons works fine but thats not enough on this phone.
I still have guaranty fortunately But with hardspl, CWM and a android nandrom installed i dont dear to send it in.. is there a way to remove everything? I mean so it will pass the most strickted serviceguy..
Hope anybody can help me and yes.. i've searched a lot for this solution with no luck :/

Download the stock Windows Mobile ROM for your particular device (TMOUS, Telestra, etc.) and rename the ruu_signed.nbh to LEO_IMG.nbh and put it on an sd card of 4gb or less. Put the sd card in your HD2 and power it on while holding the volume down (vol -) button the entire time it's starting until you enter into bootloader (tri-color screen). The leo_img.nbh should be detected shortly and then you will be prompted to press a certain button to flash the new ROM. Once it's done, you will have stock WM 6.5 and the stock bootloader back on your phone, ready to ship off for repairs.
Just make sure and find the correct stock ROM for your device, or you will be sorry. If you flash a EU ROM to a TMOUS HD2 for example, it will brick the device. Look in the HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 stickies and you will surely find a link to stock ROMs to download.

Hi all im new on this great site and i dont know if here is the RIGHT PLACE but please understand.. i just installed rafdroid 4.0.2 had 3 with 1.11 rom. it was working nice but i wanted to upgrade took me almost 8 hours to figure out...(new) thing is rafdroid 4.0.2 is running fine a lil problems on the start but it can be fixed maybe i messed up something my issue is the BOOT WHENEVER I START THE PHONE i doesnt AUTOBOOT it takes me to the "aMAGLD V1.13 where all the options are.. so i have to manually hit OPTION #3 (BOOT AD NAND) to boot the android, is there anyway i can fix that? ...
adittional option i was messing with the phone because i didnt knew what to do so maybe i changed something

in mgldr menu there is 'services-boot options-boot ad nand' choose it then reboot. next time you will not go to mgldr menu unless you long-press the power button.

When I press the on button it first goes to the Green HTC HD2 letter screen, then the NAND bootingscreen with this text:

And at the end an Android logo with HTC HD2 underneath it.
and then it's starts all over again.
How can I fix this? or restore everything back to the basics of android?
I dont know anymore specs from the Nand build
only it has the CyanogenMod on it and it's Gingerbread.

constantly rebooting a few seconds into the sequence is sometimes down to a bent battery pin. check them carefully. Failing that id suspect a fresh flash is in order.

Before fresh flash .. what has made your Android fall into a bootloop? have you flashed anything via cwm recently? that could be it.
nope did nothing. only thing i did was putting my sd card in my comp, and after that first some apps didn't work correctly, but that happens me all the time. so i reboot and so it all started ...

You didn't turn off your device, you removed the sd card immediately (or unmounted it from settings), right?
You have data2sd enabled on your build, or apps2sd?
Try to remove sd-card and then boot...
If above ddn't work, try to reflash your build through cwm (without wiping data, which will only restore your system to original state) ..

@Marvlesz; yes i unmounted it from settings, and im using apps2sd
without sdcard he still wont start normally...
could you explain how i do the reflash?

I'm sorry but I'm very newbie @ this stuff.
It depends on how you flashed this ROM in the beginning .. ( I assume you did it through cwm)
So get to the website of this rom and download it again (or pass if you have it on your pc)
bootup your phone while holing nothing but the power button, phone will remain on aMAGLDR and won't boot into Android.
Go to option 8. AD Recovery (using volume rockers) and press Green button (dial) ..
A black screen with orange text will appear, remove your sd and put it into your pc, copy your ROM's Zip file and return sd to phone.
Go to "install zip from sd" .. choose second option, and choose the rom.. then hit yes. After it's done, hit on reboot.
Report back ..

lol, Im sorry to hear that you lost your information ... I recommend doing NANDROID backups from time to time (from orange menu) as well as apps backups with (titanuim backups) .. even if you messed up with the system files, you still can get it back ..

im having pretty much the same problem..everytime i try to turn it on it loads up all the way to the occupy together screen then it just starts back over again. so i left it on the charger and let it charge for a whole night and its still doing the same thing. i've tried to do a hard reset but my volume down button doesnt work =/ is there something i can download or is there an update that i need for it to work again?! SOMEONE HEEELP!
