Good afternoon, I make my tf101 NVFLASH B80 but I need a blob of Honeycomb to check if it solves a problem I have. Among his files would 8.6.5.17 or 8.6.5.19 officer I provide for download.
The problem I have is that if I turn off lights not only with the charger or dock, I want to download these roms. Because we do not have that problem

If I read it correctly you're looking for an NVFlash version of the HC ROM?
If that's correct try here, but 8.6.5.13 is the latest version posted

Its plus and power to get into APX mode. You won't see anything on the screen if done correctly.

Does anyone know if these steps (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075054) would work to install BackTrack 5 on an external SD card? I know you would likely need to build a new kernel for Backtrack to work properly on the Transformer and the block devices will differ but could it be easily doable?
have you tried installing the ARM version of BackTrack 5?
delete this please

Any further progress on this project?
The guys over in the Samsung Galaxy S2 forum did huge progress ... they are currently working on monitor mode!
Wouldn't it be great to have a network security analysis tablet?
Might the internal WiFi adapter work in monitor mode? It's a broadcom. Or would it be possible to use a USB card? The later is currently examined by the Samsung guys.
PS: Someone in the backtrack forums reported, that the Xoom how-to was helpful for porting it to the TF.

Today on sam firmware, a new ROM is avaliable for P1010, I downloaded and tested, the news? New Lockscreen, Face unlock and a Photo Editor. Only these things.
Link: http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=3&o=1&m=GT-P1010&r=1#regiona
I think this is the last update... Maybe, with soo luck... Samsung port Google Now(I guess not) well, if anyone here see another new, tell here.
Edit: Theres a new firmware from China, not tested.
Quickly tested, flashed it with odin from kpi without wipe : seems smoother at first glance.
I hope for a working cf-root soon ;-)

My p1010 is dead. I don't know how! The battery was 3%~4% and I turn off the screen and try to turn on, but the tab doesn't wanted to turn on, I tried to use force reboot, plug on odin, all these things and nothing happens, anyone has this problem?
Did you try to let it charge for an hour then long press on/off button?

Of couse man! Here my reasons:
-Tegra 3, very, very better than p1010.
-Updates by Google, that means you will have update in one month.
-A loooot of developers
-Nice screen
-Cheap
-Jelly Bean.
-Cheap
other things.

The tab is back to the normal. LOL
Flashed the new KPO software (had to do it twice). The new software has a new lockscreen and may be a little smoother. All apps worked, but no root. I tried to root with the madteam KPI CWM root and found that the WiFi and bluetooth did not work. I had done a Nandroid backup so I restrored to the KPI software. I didn't see enough of an improvement to stay with KPO and lose root.

I had many stability problems with KPI (tablet freezing from time to time), with KPO those problems seem gone and I notice overall speed is much better.
Moreover I never did manage to have a working root on KPI since motafoca's CWM/cf-root caused reboots every time /system was accessed, so, all in all....I'll keep this KPO for now

Try using the CWM's skin1980 for KPG. Overwrite the file and folder in the p1010 wifi with wifi folder present in the CWM skin1980 rom. sorry I'm still bad English

Thanks for your recommendation. Here is what I did:
Originally rooted on KPI with Madteam CWM.
1. Copied WIFI (system/etc/wifi folder) from KPI to my external sd card.
2. Downloaded KPO via Odin.
3. Downloaded Madteam CWM.
4. Copied KPI WIFI to system/etc/wifi in KPO. This replaced the KPO files and wifi worked.
Now have a rooted working KPO.
Thanks again.
Will give this ago later on thanks and let you know as well if it works then happy days

first of all i can't read the way you wrote
edit it in normal way
"Suck at CWM"
Sounds a bit naughty, doesn't it? Oral sex?
Hey CWM is related to kernel.
I dont have information if you have STOCK Kernel or a Custom Kernel.
Step 1: Get your phone working with the modified pit file in ODIN.
Step 2: Flash a custom Kernel like G.Lewarne NoteCore ICS kernel for
Step 3: Enjoy your refurbished phone. You are out of a superbrick. Thank forest1942 for his workaround and hg42 for the custom pit file.

my guess is that they use an asian keyboard or something, cuz sometimes asian keyboards will make the unicode all weird.

How to fix the touchpads on the Xperia Play in Cyanogen mod
This Works fine in CM9 - CM9.1 - CM10
We most edit the build.prop because there is a bug from the developers of CM!!!!
Edit this lines of the build.prop file from SYSTEM folder:
ro.product.model=Play
FOR ro.product.model=R800i
--------------------------------------------
ro.pruduct.brand=Sony
FOR ro.product.brand=Sony Ericsson
--------------------------------------------------------
ro.product.name=R800i
FOR ro.product.name=Xperia Play
---------------------------------------------------
Reboot the Xperia Play and enjoy!!!!!!
Now the O button problem in FPse are fixed and the touchpads in FPse and some android games are fully working!!!!!!!!!!I found this about 30 minutes ago when i was experimenting with the xperia play hehe!!!
Sorry for my english I am from Uruguay and i speak spanish!
I found this for my own! and I can not post in the developers section so I posted here because im a noob in this forum.

In build.prop the model says Play but is R800i so the games and other things dosent recognize the xperia as xperia play, so when you change this in build.prop the games and apps recognize as Xperia Play R800i and all works fine

I've always suspected that might be the cause... but never thought to look into it myself, because I was sure ROM devs wouldn't miss such an obvious solution.
Anyway, I've been experimenting with it myself, and found that this doesn't always work (this breaks the controls in GTA3 for example). So I've done some individual research and copied the (almost) exact values from the official stock GB rom, and it fixes that!
These are all the values I used:
Code:
ro.build.product=R800i
ro.product.brand=SEMC
ro.product.name=R800i_0000-0000
ro.product.device=R800i
ro.product.model=R800i
ro.product.manufacturer=Sony Ericsson
I'm not sure if all of these are required, it probably will differ from game to game, but it's best to include all of these to get the best possible compatibility.
HOWEVER, even this isn't perfect yet:
- Touchpad and O button works in FPSE.
- Touchpad works in both Mupen64AE and N64Droid, however O acts as back.
- Controls completely work in Sonic SD.
- Controls are recognized and work in Trials 2 Xperia Play edition, HOWEVER: O button acts as back.
- Controls fully work in GTA3.
So it seems some games still don't correctly register the O button. I'll be doing some more experimenting with it in the hopes of finding a better fix.
I will also be releasing an update.zip to easily patch the correct build.prop values sometime soon.
EDIT: All testing I did was on the new JB CM10, but I'm fairly confident it should be the same for any 4.x rom.

Hello guys!
I was just wondering if anyone was able to perform the softunlock on Quarx's new builds (New Life ones, with new partitions).
Until this recent versions i was able to do it with Baseband_change(EP93_U_00.59.01).zip and CMX_softunlock_2ndBoot.zip with no problems (this also worked for JB with no issues).
Has anyone found a solution?

I get a sign asking me for the unlock code.
I was able to do it before on Quarx's builds. I guess it has something to do with the new partitions.
