SO PRETTY MUCH I FLASHED HSPL3 SUCCESSFULLY I THEN PROCEEDED TO FLASH THE RADIO WITH THE HD2 TOOLKIT IT GAVE ME A FAIL SO I FLASHED THE Leo 2.15.50.14 RADIO IT GOES TO 100% BUT STILL GAVE ME AN ERROR SO I WENT ON AND MOVED FOEWARD AND INSTALLED MAGLDR AND IT FLASHED TO 100% BBBUUTT!! I HAVE A BLANK COTULLA RECOVERY SCREEEN ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
Just from my own experience any of the newer HD2s I haven't had to flash radio on them since the early ones...the stock radio is up to date. Maybe just task29 it, and start with hspl then magldr and so on

Okay after i task 29 it should it reboot into the windows phone os ??? Cause all it does is vibrate 4 short times and then goes black
I'm sorry I can't say for sure....when your on the screen with 3 colors is the hspl there? And which radio version is showing? Maybe something wrong there? I just figured task29 and start fresh. If you scroll down a few threads in here there is a definitive radio thread and one forbade troubleshoot that mentions using the yellow reset button on the phone, maybe there is something there that can help atleast until someone who knows the issue comes along.

YEAH the hspl is there 2.08 HSPL or something like that so i ran the task 29 and the phone went blank and then went in to the TMOBILE STICK TOGETHER splash screen and it hangs there which intially was what was wrong with the phone but ill try the yelloe reset button and see what happens

yeah i tried to task 29 then flash the magldr and im still getting the blank aMGLDR V1.13 Screen with no menu options
its just the title with nothing underneath the title just blank
I'm sorry stumped....probably something simple we are missing. Any chance you tried clk instead? I have zero experience with clk but I imagine its similiar in setup aspect.

so i was able to get mgldr to load with the menu now when i try and enter ad recovery i get an AWESOME "1E FATAL HIT 1" whatever the hell that means
That fatal error code is mentioned in the thread with the yellow reset button.

Im doing that but on romupdate shows me error because my phone is not sync with mobile device centar, but that is imposimble because phone is flashed with android

me too have the same problem
I solved that. First you need to install HTC Sync for all HTC Android Phones (i cant post hyperlinks if you want i will send you link via DM ) and after you will can to upgrade MAGLDR
You don't need to install anything, just turn off phone, then turn back on holding down volume down button until you see tri-colour bootloader.
At the bottom you will see the word serial then plug into PC, thenafter a few seconds you'll see it change to usb, then flash 1.13.

You don't need ActiveSync.
The ROM Update Utility .exe will recognize and skip to step starting with the tricolored screen (hold vol down and power on). Ie. it will recognize your phone from there on.
You can do this to update anything from NAND Rom, Radio, MAGLDR etc. once you are no longer tied to Windows Mobile (activesync). The ROM updater skips those steps.

does it erase the setup you have on your phone? or can you just upgrade with no issues?
I'm interested, too, if there's any data loss.
I read somewhere something that after upgrade the android needs to be flashed again.

No, flashing from 1.11 to 1.13 does not result in data loss (normally - to be safe I'd suggest taking a backup though)

So I did it and no problems!
does updating MAGLDR 1.11 to 1.13 make u lose ur warenty. And does someone know when there is gonna be a new MAGLDR 1.14(?) on the market and will this be better then 1.13?
warranty? I think you can reverse and go back to stock for warranty. you already lose your warranty once you flash hspl anyways.

I'm trying to update from magldr 1.11 to 1.13 but every time I run the ROM update utility I get "Error [260]: Connection" & "the Update Utility cannot connect to your PDA phone." I have the tri-color bootloader screen, as well as USB on it. I'm already running a NAND Froyo build, just trying to switch to Gingerbread. I've tried searching this forum & the web for help without any success. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I cant get past the MAGLDR screen...I can load a HSPL or ROM what do I need to do
did you load clockwork or a rom yet? if you only just flashed magldr, then there is nothing past the magldr screen yet, you need to flash something (clockwork would be my guess for your next step)

I'm new here posting, but was reading XDA a lot .
I have a poblem that I cannot solve:
I have HTC HD2 and wanted to flash MIUI instead of stock OS.
I'm not new to custom ROM, and use custom ROMs on Motorola DEFY and Galaxy Ace.
For HD2 I used guide below:

I was able to change SPL to 2.08 HSPL, but for some reason mine shows PB81110 HX-BC instead of PB81120 etc in top line and 0x40 instead of 0X50 in the bottom line.
Than I run Task 29 successfully. Than I've flashed cKL,1.4.0.1, it was 100% and looks good.
Than phone was supposed to boot to cKL menu and instead it stuck on HTC green letters logo on white screen.
I took battery out and tried press power button, no luck same HTC logo.
I went to three color screen, run Task 29 again and tried installing Magldr same thing says 100%, doesn't boot to Magldr screen, battery out, HTC logo and that's it. Tried multiple times, with different usb cables, nothing works. Didn't do stock back up, so cannot go back to stock, battery is getting low and I out of ideas.
Could someone PLEASE help, and explain what am I doing wrong? At this stage I'll be happy with any working ROM even stock.

did you update teh radio? flash 2.15.50 from bootloader (stripey screen) and reboot, see if magldr appears.
Oh and stop task29ing, its not necessary.
PB81110 means it is a telstra version. (Same as regular version except for the 3g frequencies)

Hope it doesn't sound very annoying, but what is 2.15.50? I would appreciate just a reference or link to the right thread.

But problem again:
I've flashed tytung R14 kernel, than MIUI and it looks good, says congrats on the screen, but when I go to 'reboot system' in CWM it boots back to cLK screen looks like step 14 of this guide:

I think I'm very close ( have CWM installed and able to flash kernel and MIUI), but obviously doing something wrong.
Is there any step I'm missing? Any ideas? Help please!

My phone has the same problem. I think it has to do with corrupt internal memory blocks. I was able to flash a few times by altering system size partition, but now I can not flash clk on my phone anymore.
I ended up installing using magldr method, instead of clk. Use the hd2 toolkit to:
-Wipe task29
-Install magldr
-Magldr repartition (Usb flasher option in magldr)
-Install zip from sd card in ad recovery
I chose dataonext because I don't trust my nand memory.

I have been given a htc hd2 and there was a previous attempt to flash android on it but now there us no rom and has magldr 1.13 and CWM.
I get a series of 6/7 vibrates when i turn it on so have to take battery out for 5-10 mins then put it back in just to magldr or tri-colour screen.
I have tried to load CWM with ad recovery in magldr but i get 1e FATAL HIT error.
Also i have tried to use task29 to clean it up but cant find task29 without a radio so tried one that included 2.15.50.14 but it will not connect, i am using windows 8 with WMDC and WMDC is not recognusing decice but can connect it as mass storage.
Any ideas would be appreciated as its confusing me now

Hi i wanted to install android my HD2 bt the installation stuck on zero amd gives me error every yime at 0% when i start swipe i used MGLDR and HD2 toolkit bt samee problem. please help me i want to Flash android in it. it has currently a stock windows phone never updated

Umm .. are you following a guide or something? Because you need HSPL 2.08 prior to flashing anything other than stock.
At last done got an idea in sleep so downgraded Hspl to 1.42 then used mgldr and then hspl upgraded to 2.08 and there it go boot loader

first of all sorry if I'm posting in a wrong place.
I tried many native sd roms with Android on HD2 but each one has a huge problem. When I boot into Android I have to make a first call which lasts only 1 second and then it disconnects. This happens every time and eats my credit. I thought that installing a new rom will fix this problem, I am using BoxMax now, but the problem is even worse. Somebody calls me and it disconnects in few seconds. Anyone having same problems? Thanks a lot for help.

try a nand rom, not a nativeSD one... it's full of rom and guides around

you need drivers to have hd2 recognized by windows in bootloader (tri colour) screen... install activesync or WMDC (x64 or x86 accordingly to your os)
Had fixed the problem with some thinking when downgrading to cotulla spl 1.42 then flashng hspl thn upgrading to 2.08
