Videos and demonstrative images preloaded on tab 7.7 - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

If possible that someone from the XDA community sends me the photos and the video preloaded on the tab. The video and the one where jellyfish exhibit blue and black background. The pictures are of the wallpapers.
I apologize for my bad English and I thank you

I already solved by extracting the files directly to the stock rom ^ _ ^

Xoom gallery question

So I loaded a ton of high res photos straight from my DSLR forming a digital portfolio on my Xoom, but one thing is really irking me. When you first launch the gallery, the image is rendered somewhat fuzzy until you pinch and zoom in - then it becomes nice and sharp. Has anyone found a way around this? Should I be resizing to a ceettain size before transferring to the Xoom?
It's just a tad annoying that when swiping through photos in a gallery, they're all previewed almost in a low res fashion. Id hate to have to zoom in just to show how a photo is supposed to look.

Android Gallery sucks ... period.
Google does not spend time for that.
Go to the Market and get "QuickPic".
That's better.

i resize to 1600x1200 to save storage mostly but the images show well in both stock gallery and QuickPics. Higher Res takes a second to resolve to full detail but it should do so without the pinch and zoom trick. QuickPics saves the full screen view once you view the image the first time so it is faster on both viewing and slide shows.

Hi all,
I'm developing a full resolution image viewer "Gallery illusion HD" that supports big "jpgs" and displays pictures with no quality loss. Now is in public beta and can be download free on the Android Market. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Regards,
Mobileillusion
You should add basic viewer functions as scrolling by finger, rotate and so on.

Hi moriakoj,
thanks for the feedback. I will add those features in next versions.
The application is intended, above all, to see the details of high-resolution images (> 10 MP). Most viewers downscale the image in such images.

Mobileillusion.

bad photo cuality (viewer)

Hello.
Since I first tried watching photos on my A500 I felt they look horrible. They are not sharp and they looked badly focused.
I don't mean the photos taken with the camera wich i dont use very much, but the photos I already had in my computer and copied into the tablet to show to people and friends.
I took a picture from the proyection my teacher did in class and it looks perfect in both my laptop and iPhone, but just impossible to read a word in the Iconia Tab.
It looks like the algorithm it uses to read pictures doesn't correctly work. Anyone tried?
Do you know any app that fixes this? anyone else noticed it?
thank you!
Try Quickpic app in the market

[Q] i9505G Stock Camera Blur

Hi,
I have a I9505 which I have flashed with Google edition 4.3.
If I use the stock Google edition camera I get really bad results, lots of blurred photos. Today I was experimenting with Focal from CM10.2 and I was getting radically improved results.
I've attached some examples of text, but I get it with everything, no matter what the situation. Taking a shot in bright sunny conditions still gives me the same results.
I examined the EXIF data and shots taken with Stock & Focal are using exactly the same settings, ISO, Exposure, etc. I tried holding still for long after the shutter press to see if that helped, it didn't.
Here is a link to hi-res versions https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0xw0tgh8c695994/YmAC0tHpoH
I came from a Xperia Z which had the S4 GE camera app flashed on it, but I was pretty careful not to import this when I transitioned from a Titanium Backup. Even if I had copied it across, it should be exactly the same?
Any thoughts? or suggestions?
Steve
The blur feature looks like that the jpeg compress too much, rather than higher ISO.
I've installed Gapps on my Samsung tw ROM. so I have both Samsung camera app and Google gallery with google's camera app.
Compare the photo taken by the two camera app. the photo of stock samsung camera is really large in size. can be 4~6MB. almost 10 times size than photo taken by of Google camera app (about 400K-800K). 1300M pixels img compree to such a small size, of course google edition camera is blured.

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The dropbox link gives you hi-res versions, the attached images are just cropped versions. Both the Stock Google App and Focal App are taking identical images:
Pixel Height: 3,096
Pixel Width: 4,128
And the EXIF data is also identical, with (very) slight variance in the brightness value.
I didn't know you could run the Samsung camera! Coming from the Xperia Z, the camera and skin are tied together. Any ideas where I might find the Samsung stock camera?

It's alol right. My English is quite poor. I'm Chinese. I know my posts might be hard to read. I'm practise on it. .
I've seen the orginal files in dropbox, they are the same size.
My google edition camera app have the same problem,
I don't know why, but I guess it might be the unrobust noise reduction algorithm in google app, which may cause the image blur.

Issue with wallpaper quality

Anyone else have an issue where the lockscreen wallpapers aren't crisp and sharp looking? Seems like android compresses the wallpapers and they never look as good as the original image. I've tested out the new moto x and the stock wallpapers look tack sharp on the screen. This isn't just the lockscreen that's giving me this problem, it's the home screen wallpapers as well.
I've tested 1440p and 4k wallpapers as well with the same result. No, im not using low res photos.
Any ideas?

You are not alone. I have noticed the same thing. I believe its something with TouchWiz. I cropped my wallpapers to 1440x2560 in photoshop and they seem a lot better. Its funny how they still look a tad sharper in Gallery.
Anyone else with this issue / a solution?

No problem here, maybe I have the same issue but I never noticed it. . I also crop all my wallpapers to 1440x2560 and set them as a wallpaper using Quick Pic.

I've tried this, and still no luck. Wallpapers on the Nexus 5 are tack sharp, same as the moto x 2014.
The images in the gallery look amazing, but when they are applied as a wallpaper they look compressed and
blurry, even when they are cropped to match the 1440p resolution. This isnt a huge deal, but just wish it didn't look like this.
This is True
I am going to buy Galaxy Alpha .
and when I looked at wallpapers on home screen and Lock screen on my friend's Alpha it really looked pixalated
I thought its because of 720p and 316 ppi .
but when I checked Gallary app and other apps pics and resolution was looking really superb .
I can see pixels only if I really look Deeply .
2k screen is wastage of battery , Frame rates and performance , specially on S805
I hope they solve this Wallpaper problem
I can confirm this, I've compared a 1440p pic on gallery and when I set it as a wallpaper, as a wallpaper it definitely doesn't look as sharp as when I opened it in gallery. hmmm I hope they fix it with a firmware update or something. Don't know if it has anything to do with this issue but did any of you guys try a different launcher to see if the problem is solved?
Pictures look better in Gallery if you're using Adaptive display mode, because what this mode does is increase sharpness and saturation when viewing images and videos.

I go back and forth between basic and adaptive display, same issue on either display mode.
On both my Moto X and Moto G, whenever I apply wallpaper through Zedge the wallpaper image looks sharp but when I downloaded the same image and apply from photo album the resulting wallpaper looks like their image quality has been reduced. The effects are really noticeable since it produces color banding.
I'm using both stock Moto and Google Now launcher, both have the same issue so I guess it's not Touchwiz related. If anyone can help in pointing to apps that will allow me to apply my photos in gallery without reducing quality I will be grateful.

Yeap... That's it. Thanks a lot!
An easy way to have the same effect on the homescreen wallpaper, is to open the image with studio and apply the Sharpen effect (100%). Then save as 8MP> and set that image as wallpaper. That image will have noise in the stock gallery, but when applied as wallpaper should look almost identical to how the original one looks in the stock gallery.
Cheers
I have no problems with wallpapers.
I edit them to an ideal size, which on the note 4 is 2880x2560 for AOSP-based launchers(scrolling wallpaper) or 2560x2560 for touchwiz/lockscreen.
I then set them through FX File Explorer which doesn't edit the image unless it's really needed.
