[Q] Problem with Dualboot on A500. - Acer Iconia A500

Hello everyone, could someone help me? On my A500, some of the options of boot menus do not work anymore since I installed this dualboot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619913. I can only start with Primary Kernel Image, when I try to enter into recovery mode (or in fastboot mode) crashes the tablet.
What can I do to restore the boot menus that I had with Android 3.2 (ClockworkMod recovery rev 1.3.4) without dualboot?
Thanks to all.

since the last update of Acer Recovery Installer I managed to install the recovery CWM 1.7 and everything work again. Now I wish I could remove the dualboot screen ...

[Q] Cannot enter CWM recovery rev1.4.2

Does anyone else have a problem entering CWM recovery 1.4.2?
When I try to enter CWM recovery rev1.4.2, after the 'acer' logo and 4th line - 'Booting recovery kernel image', my screen goes blank(black screen) for about 25-30seconds. Then, it automatically reboots into normal mode (i.e. lock screen, which I'm able to enter as normal). CWM up to Rev1.3.4 is ok. Reverting back to 1.3.4 is the only way to enter recovery.
ps: I get exactly the same results with rev1.4 and 1.4.1 (i.e. auto reboots into normal mode)
There is a 1.4.5 version out. Think since yesterday.

I had a feeling you were talking about the Acer Recovery Installer. BTW, the latest version of it is v2.42.
That's what I used to install Thor's rev1.4.2. I also use adb method as well. My problem starts after I've installed thor's latest clockwork recovery image (which is rev1.4.2) using either of the ADB method or the Acer Recovery installer. Sorry, should have made my question clearer.
Does anyone know how find the log of a failed boot into CWM to find out why it failed? Internet searches aren't giving me anything. I can enable 'report error' in rev1.3.2 which gives me a log of the recovery boot, but it is only for that boot. I can't do that when I upgrade to rev1.4.2. Because I can't even get to the recovery page. Something is stopping it from booting into CWM.

CM10 Bootlooping with Franco M5 kernel

I have a galaxy tab 2 10.1 running cm10's 8/292012 nightly. I used franco kernel updater to auto flash Milestone 5. The auto flash seemed to work, my device restarted and is now boot looping at the new cm10 startup screen animation. I attempted to reboot into cwm recovery but can't access it. What are my options to access recovery and restore to my previous version of cm10 prior to the Franco M5 auto flash? Are there any options that will allow me to use a Mac as an option. I do not currently have access to a PC? Any help is appreciated.
I think you try to enter download mode by volume down+power then try flashing with heimdall for mac

A500 cannot mount, format, or wipe /data

Hello guys. After 48 hours of searching forums I couldn't not to find someone with my problem so here I go. My device is an Acer Iconia a500. I am using skrilax v6 unlocked bootloader and the A500 public recovery. I can install any ICS rom. After the acer screen and the rom specific animation appears, the animation runs for hours, going nowhere. Recovery will not let me mount, format or wipe /data. Power plus volume- gets me in recovery just fine. When I attempt to format or mount data in mounts and storage, all I get is "error mounting(or formatting) /data!" Mounting and formatting everything else seems to work just fine. I assume this is preventing my roms from booting. When i hold power plus volume+ I get a menu as follows:
Reboot
Fastboot Mode
Boot Recovery
Set Boot Secondary Kernel Image
Set Debug Mode Off
Wipe Cache
Using windows xp because windows 8 is still buggy, I've used fastboot to try other recoveries likes thor's newest touch recovery and I still get the same error. "error mounting(or formatting) /data!" I cannot use adb commands. I'm assuming /data is corrupt and preventing me from booting entirely. Please advise and I'll pay for your beer. Thank you!
In the android developement files for the iconia a500 search up either how to rollback from ics leak or how to fix a bricked acer a500 you are going to need your sbk and you will have to use nvflash... it will work eventually although you will have to reflash the bootloader

[Q] Can't access CWM - Can't boot

Hey guys,
I am really going crazy with my A500 and I really need help!
I tried to Update my Taboonay to the newest Flexreaper Edition. In the desciption it said that I need to have one of that custom recoverys to use Aroma installer. Because I had CWM with Thor 1.3.4 and 1.7.3 is neccessary I wanted to Update CWM via installing the zip from SD Card. Before installing the zip I accedientially deleted the update.zip from the SD Card. Tried to restart CWM than but it didn't work out and I could not enter CWM. I was stuck on booting recovery kernel image, waited about a minute and than the screen turned dark. Since that point the tablet doesn't start anymore and the tablet does not enter CWM.. What can I do to fix it?
I summarize:
- can't enter CWM
- cant boot the ROM
- deleted update.zip
Thank you in advance

I would guess, you are still running an HC bootloader? You must update your tab to the V8 unlocked bootloader from Skrilax_cz.

How did you install cwm?
There's only two ways to get cwm on 5360
Temp cwm
Flash this in stock recovery every time you need cwm
Perminant cwm
This is built into a custom kernel & replaces stock kernel & recovery
If you chose the later it's most likely the kernel you
flashed is not compatible with the rom/file system you are using
More information about what you are using & what you did is required
If all else fails flash stock rom via odin and start again
