Flash every kernel automatically - Xperia Play General

Hey people!
I thought that this might help some people that are too lazy to type in fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img etc.
If I am not allowed to post files like this, let me know.
I have a GSM device. I don't think all of these will work on a CDMA device, unless the kernel is named the same. If you want me to make a .bat file for a specific kernel, just ask. It isn't hard though.
Put them in the same folder as your fastboot.exe. These files won't work if you have renamed the .img files.

Doomkernel: http://www.2shared.com/file/-18yHOii/Autoflash_Doomkernel.html
DFK4: http://www.2shared.com/file/tr2C4Q5T/Autoflash_DFK4.html
FXP CM9 (Also works for PaxChristos' CM9 for CDMA!): http://www.2shared.com/file/_yLcPgdQ/Autoflash_FXPs_CM9.html
Doomkernel ICS: http://www.2shared.com/file/j5ErcXwq/Autoflash_Doomkernel_ICSbeta.html

Mjolnir: http://www.2shared.com/file/HGUknseJ/Autoflash_Mjolnir.html
All of them (unpack in the same folder as fastboot.exe): http://www.2shared.com/file/vGVLl1Rs/Autoflash_all.html
I did not create these kernels. They are the work of:
KeiranFTW
DooMLoRD
FXP
PaxChristos
lightningdude
and I believe KalleD
You use these files on your own risk. I am not to be held responsible.

Is this for cdma or gsm?
Sent from my R800x using Tapatalk 2

This is a great thread, put it in your sig definitely cause it'll get buried here.
Maybe you should also include a thanks button to the developer link, a GSM or CDMA tag. And make sure you keep them up to date. Then I can see this thread being sticky'd.

As of now (May 21) it is only for GSM. I probably will expand it further, when I have the time. If a thread has 2 kernels (one GSM and one CDMA) and they are named the same, it will work.

IMHO this is pointless I mean to type "fast boot flash boot boot.img" takes less than 10seconds. But thanks

Maybe, but you'll have to open your command prompt in the right folder, remember "fastboot flash.." etc. This saves you a few seconds. And I am lazy, and I know I'm not the only one on the world .

Thanks for you work and pay no attention to the douche

Not really... not a waste of time.
I (and I know other devs will back me up on this one) have had to help many people typing the right things into fast boot and opening command prompt... its not a breeze for everyone

Yes I know but this requires the correct file etc there is a better even lazier way. And to the person calling me a douche, do you even know what a douche is? I bet your some immature kid, I said IMHO so didn't mean to offend

Ive read enough comments on these fourms to know exactly what a douche is

Use it if you like, it's your choice. But can we all just chill out here?

I am chilled this guy is just getting his knickers all twisted over nothing. thanks.

If you hate using the commands just use flashtool

The files are named so that it is clear which one is which. And just wondering, what is this easier way? Flashtool?

I think its still against the rules to "spam" another site
So even if he did want to share with xda he would have to bring it all over here with team wins permission

I really like this recovery, however I actually like the confirmation screen. At least make us go only 2 or 3 levels down instead of 7. I went to flash a ROM and wasn't paying close attention and ended up flashing the wrong one.

[DIY]Boot to Gecko (3G/4G)

This site gives pretty nice instructions on how to make the build yourself
I would make it, but I don't have a large enough hard drive
Right now it's slow and in early alpha, Hardware Acceleration doesn't work as of now.
So until someone can dump the IMG files, this is how it's done.

A friend of mine is right now for the 4G. Let's see how this works..
the result file should be .img files that have to be flashed via fastboot.
So everything will be erased, recoveries, ROM's and your SDCARD/eMMC
Does it wipe SD card?
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk
He did say sdcard, so yeah.... it will be the same as when you rooted your phone for the first time. Same system.

My friend is currently trying to get a version that we can flash, because normally it just transfers straight from adb. He has to fix permissions and symlinks of the dump. Hopefully if everything goes right we should have a build by tonight
I would really appreciate this, been wanting to try it out, but don't have a PC running linux now.
Interesting. If I get time I might setup Ubuntu in Virtual Box and give it a try.
I'm so trying this when it's fully functional, even if I have to wait a long time.
Whoever is in charge of the UI is great at what they do, it's really nice looking. Especially the dialer.
Wow , I find this thread now ... I feel stupid for posting my thread now .. Alright Everything is Done , but one question ... If I flash this will clockworkmod go away, or anything from my memory ? like all my music and etc ... Just need to get things clear

what happened to the thread you posted with the precompiled zip?? I was able to pull it up on google cache, but it's deleted from XDA for some reason.
was there an issue with the build that caused it to get pulled?? I'd like to try it out since I've already got your zip.

That's exactly what happened, but to say it was no big deal is foolish. It may not have been as awesome as building from the source that does not exist yet, but to get a bunch of noobs who don't know how to flash anything onto Jellybean and to even have the idea to extract the OTA from the I/O devices is a little bit more than "nothing special"
What I meant is that it could have been done sooner or later with all of the devs at io. What else do you expect them to do with a dev phone loaded with exclusive access to jb. Jeez I'm not trying to steal credits here look at my sig I'm not even a android user (yet). My point is it's not worth to celebrate something like that by opening a thread just keep going on existing threads.

The SXL kernel was released months ago and is as useful to us as a one V kernel - which is not very much!
And before you say "oh, but the HW is the same. Why don't you guys give kernel 3.0 to me. Aargh! " why don't YOU try to port it, if you get it working ill take this all back

Because I haven't mad a highly successful rom like lord DOES NOT mean I have no idea what in talking about. I have made a few working roms. Only 2 I have shared with xda. They weren't huge but people used them and actually appreciated it.(almost) No one appreciates anything in this section anymore. Its always what YOU want...you just throw reality out the window and demand something without thinking about the work needed. I can be as clueless as as a squirrel and just read one thread about ics or jellybean to find the answer I just gave you.
Edit: I'm sorry this was not directed at you In particular, it was directed at all if xda pretty much. Its just ridiculous that people don't read a single sentence and demand something(which in no way did you demand anything..you just said you didn't believe me and that's okay but if you read a couple threads on it,you would have found your answer...but that's okay )
Again not directed at you specifically!
