Try clearing data and cache in recovery
And if it doesnt work, you can still try mounting USB via CWM recovery..
go to mount and storage->mount USB
LOL you are done
i try to do your explenation but doesnt work anything.
can you show me a video or something like that????
step by step??
my device with this rom is like an original cellphone and is not rooted and whithout usb i cant root again...

hmmmm...
you have a stock SE rom.
go to Settings->Applications->Developement
and uncheck the usb debugging if it is checked.
also make sure your cable is ok....
And remember to always reboot your phone when a problem appears, its sometimes the best solution to a problem

Hello. Please help me. my phone can not use the rom manage. I have used one once, but can not be used again. when I turn on the program, still connected 3g/wifi but nothing more happened at all. I have copied the program into the correct directory. My phone rooted. This phenomenon occurs after I Flast 2.1
What doesnt work? Does it not install? Why are you copying the app at all? Why not install from Market?
I installed the application from Market but I can not use the rom manage.
I don't know!

Rom Manager*
You have to be rooted to use it.
You can't expect people to help you if you don't tell them the problem.
So its installed, did you flash the clockworkmod? Should be the top most option.

Also, did you download it from the market, or did you steal the pro version from online? I am asking because you said "I copied it to the right directory"
Maybe I understand his/her problem. Rooted, installed RM but cannot install Clockwork?
Few options here, search for the standalone update.zip with Clockwork and do it that way OR wait a few hours and try again.
The 1st choice I had to do once because RM wasn't liking my phone and the 2nd choice sometimes the server is down.
First, my phone t959 rom UVJI6 normal. Then my rom to version 2.2 T959UVJFD. I do not feel satisfied so I returned to the Odin 2.1.
My phone has a normal root and fix lag.
but then, I could not manage to use the rom again.
Sorry for my english level is limited. I'm from Vietnam

Yes. this is my problem. How do I do now?
Thanks!
If youre trying to flash another rom you need to disable the lagfix first.

My assumption is you have OCLF, try removing it then giving it a go.
Google a clockwork update zip that is pushable with ODIN, I found one the other day. I MAY have it still but I am not sure and I honestly have no clue where I found it, wasn't xda I am about 90% sure. It is not really a solid fix but will get you to where you have CWM. Rom Manager will not recognize you have it installed but when you go to enter recovery mode it will enter into CWM.
Did you by chance also flash a custom kernal? When I tested out a few I noticed my phone did the same thing, my knowledge currently doesn't expand far enough to know if they can even be related though. I am still learning a lot myself.

hey everybody,
i recently rooted my S2 with Odin, but now my battery drowns really fast.
As a solution I wanted to unroot it again, however I can't because the USB input on my phone is kinda broken. (I can only charge my phone).
So, I was wondering if one of u guys knows how to unroot my phone without using the USB cable??
Thanks in advance,

Don't you have cwm recovery?
Just flash a stock kernel then...
But...don't go back this easy, fight the cause!
The kernel is pretty sure not the issue, it's the setup, just flash the latest speedmod and be happy!

If you dont know such basics, you are probably at the wrong place mate..
get this file --> http://vln01.helochat.com/tourist/speedmod-kernel-s2-ics-k3-25-CWM.zip
put it onto your SD Card, boot into recovery and select "Install zip from sdcard"
clear cache and dalvik cache, reboot, thats it.

Small warning for newbies as me, just in case.
I have Xperia Arc S, rooted, locked BL.
I changed rom and during this operation I pressed wrong key .
The sequence was as here:
- I wipped all to factory reset
- then in Mounts and Storage I wiped \system and \boot partitions
- then in Advanced I wipped Dalvik Cache
- then my fingers pressed wrong key when I was on Reboot Recovery option but it was too late.
Phone trying to reboot but there was no CWM recovery as it is installed on \system and I just wipped all to factory reset .
Of course such situation can be simply fixed by Flashtool, but I haven't my PC with me .
My advice is: do not press Reboot Recovery option in CMW recovery when you already delete all from your phone .
And rather change rom when your PC is available and ready to work. Just in case

That should be common sense, but I guess it's true what they say about common sense eh. This is why it's recommended to just unlock the bootloader, if you want to root to install custom kernels, ROMs etc then you might as well just go all out and unlock it in the first place.
In all my time here at XDA having owned an X10 and the Arc I've only ever seen one instance of a Phone being well and truly bricked so with those kind of stats I don't grasp why People don't just unlock their bootloader from the off.

Your right to a degree, but you have to remember its other things like hardware that can be damaged due to overclocking etc..
So it isn't just bricking you have to worry about.

In my country Xperia Arc S is rather expensive ;-(
The only reason why my phone still has locked bootloader is warranty/guarantee.
According to my little knowledge it is impossible to lock bootloader again with all settings as in hm... 'original', not modified phone?
so the main point is what? i don't really understand, so you did brick the phone/send it to phantom zone while doing those you mention above?

does it still alow internet access?
are u able to get aps like googlemusic and netflix?
Hi, you must be root, and clockmod recovery must be install, i advice version 6.0.1.
Make a backup of corrent rom, just in case
Copy froyofusion zip file to sdcard, power off, click menu+call(green button)+power on, after reboot in recovery, choose install zip file, again a few minutes and then reboot.
froyo as internet acess, and you can acess the google market, never try to install the programs you said but i have install a lot others with no problem.

I have never installed NativeSD but..
Is the ROM you installed Tytungs ICS? If it is, the kernel is already included - you need not I stall it after the fact. Maybe that created a problem.
Fir the wifi look for wifi fix on Google Play. It may help.

Does the device connect to wifi when not in ICS?
Have you checked the obvious things?
In settings / wifi / advanced make sure you allow for weak signal and the wifi region code.
ICS will have a different mac address; make sure the router is allowing it.
Clear cache, fix permissions, the usual steps.

As I said, I really don't know that much about NativeSD so I am only guessing..
Is it possible to get a logcat from the time when you try to turn on the wi-fi?
There are several apps on Google Play which will save the log as a text file and you can upload it to the ICS dev thread for Tytung or someone else to look at.
You can also try to flash an old wi-fi firmware but I have no idea what that may do. It is possible that it will not work and you will have to do a clean install after it. If you want to give it a try download BCM4329_firmware_v4.218.248.18_.zip - 1.66 MB and flash through recovery.
Last, I would try to remove the entire Nativesd ROM and start over clean. I don't think the ROM has a wifi issue in all Nativesd installations so my last resort would be to completely clean up and reinstall.
Try some other rom to see if your wifi works, try some stable roms, like cm9 or viper,
Or just reinstall rom using another kernel.
