Boot Logo Change - XPERIA X8 General

im using alfs kernel and i hope to change the boot logo??
any1 can teach me how to do so?

Yeah, like, using the search button.
If you're trying to change the Splash Screen (blue words, Alfs v8), you can't change that.
It's built in the kernel.

It friends on the situation. If your on a custom rom that has a boot animation in it you need to flash the rom and kernel a second time work out wiping.
If your on a rom that uses the stock boot animation you need to delete the stock animation and add a boitanimation.zip to system/media.
I forget the exact files to delete

The fix will be in the kernel, not the ROM. It was never a ROM problem and never will be. Samsung broke RNDIS in the kernel.

You know which kernel it is only after installing the rom if the rom download page or developer doesn't provide information about the kernel. After you finish flashing the rom, go to settings>about rom or about phone, you will see the kernel version.
Hit thanks if I helped you.

You are absolutely right. His question is - how shall I know which kernel it is without installing the rom? That is why I told him that he won't know which kernel it is without installing the rom i.e. from the boot image and that he needs to install the rom to know which kernel it is.

No swap support is the same!!
From what I understand it is not the same... Zram uses RAM compression, swap uses the SDcard as a swap partition, which might be inadvisable to preserve SD life... Am I wrong?
