thats what is supposed to happen with sd card android, , , everytime you reboot, you are back in winmo until you run clcad and haret again.

After magldr, you should install Recovery (ClockWorkMod Recovery for memory repartition like 5/125/5 or else, according to desired ROM), you should find it in the first posts to each and very NAND ROM thread.
After that you can install your ROM from microSD card through CWM Recovery...
Read a little more and you should do this with ease!
Hajde zdravo!

magldr is 1.13
clockwork is like 3.04 or something
ye, u right, but any totourial to install it?

Stuck on "GO GO GO!" in AD Recovery.

I was able to successfully install CWM on one HD2 and is now running Android on it.
Well that HD2 the touch screen no longer work. So i purchase another HD2 and attempt to do the same, but once I install Recovery 150, I go to AD Recovery and I get stuck on "GO GO GO!" CWM won't load. Can anyone give me suggestion to what might be the problem.
What I have tried so far.
1. I reload HSPL3 to 2.08.HSPL
2. Flash Task29
3. Flash Radio 2.25.50.14
4. Flash MAGLDR 1.13
5. Flash Recovery 150MB
then when I boot in to AD Recovery I get stuck on GO GO GO!.
When I Flash 250 or 400 I get FATAL in red.
SO i attempt to flash the OEM T-MO rom it hang at 8% and crash. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can get into the bootloader fine.

first off once you do HSPL you don't ever need to do it again, and the radio you flashed was 2.15.50.14? once you flash the radio you don't need to reflash it again, unless changing to a different one.
Now I would suggest to start back at task29,
then MGLDR 1.13,
redownload the partition in case of any corruption,
are you using win xp or 7?
if on win 7 right click on the daf and run as admin.
I know there's not much difference from what you said but maybe you have a corrupted download and it's messing things up.
Try using the toolkit, it does a really good job:
[2 Jun 11][v3.9] HD2 NAND Toolkit - All in one Toolkit for HD2 NAND Users
I'm using windows vista & i tried the HD2 NAND toolkit still the same result. :/
so i gave the freezer cooling theory a try and it works. Now I got another problem on hand i can only use the phone no more than 20-30 min at a time before it locks up.

i'm having exactly the same problem, i'm trying to install android because if i install the stock rom it stucks at the htc logo an when i install android it works for a few minutes but then it freezes
i've searched on google for it and they say that it can be a overheating problem
It was a touchscreen issue when i had this error. I had replaced the digitizer but the ribbon came loose during repair. If, when you boot to the tricolor screen (hold volume down + power), you dont see cotulla hspl 0x40 or 0x50 you have a touch screen problem.

Hi jimani, welcome to the forum. Please provide more information about your problem, which recovery? what size recovery partition? What have you tried? Hspl?
The more information you can give, the more likely someone will know what your problem is.

Hi Robbie,
Actually I tried every thing:
At the first time it was a touchscreen issue, I replaced it and try to reinstall the android rom; i used the toolkit 4.3 to flash.
1.HSPL3
2.WIPE(Task 29)
3.Radio-Leo-2.15.50.14
3.MAGLDR 1.13
4.Repartition 280MB for system, 5 for cash.
But when I tried to go in AD RECOVEY, my phone stuck 1234 GO,GO,GO.
I perform this steps on two htc hd2( one is T-Mobile) but no success.
Please help.
Justin.
did you install hspl 2.08 using hspl3?
Which recovery have you installed and how did you install it?
Have you tried an sd recovery, booted from ad sd dir?

Hi Robbie,
Yes I installed hspl 2.08 using hspl3.
After DFT MAGLDR Boot loader is loaded I install the partition after that I go in ad recovery to load the Clockwork Mod Recovery then... stuck!
When I tried to boot from the sd card it's say : SD open kernel failed .
I don't know may be I'm mixing things. can you provide me a clear step by step doc?
Thanks in advance.
Justin.
Am at work now, have you tried using hd2 toolkit to install your nand recovery?
Else to use an SD recovery, you have to specify the folder that the zImage and initrd.gz files are in, using magldr ad SD dir, then boot from ad SD.

HELP! Hard reset

I have [DFT] MAGLDR 1.13 installed on my HD2 and the AD Hardreset function does not work.
I tried using the hardware key to hard reset the phone, it did not work as well.
I am trying to get rid of this install so that I can install other custom roms onto the SD card instead.
Can someone please tell me how I can get rid of my [DFT]MAGLDR 1.13 installed on the phone?
Thanks so much.
doing a hard reset will not set you back to windows and original install you need to flash back to stock windows for that

Will I be able to use task29 and then install other custom Android rom?
Will want to install new custom ROM on the SD card instead of NAND.
Thanks
Then just flash a stock Windows Mobile ROM and go from there with your SD Android.
Get a dual boot application that will ask you every time what you want to boot.
Just curious, why do you want to go back to SD Android?

Task29 removes everything from nand. So you can flash any other NAND rom. Clk Or magldr.

You can't run the system from SD and install to the phone. SD android doesn't touch the nand in any way.

Oh. So I still have to have a stock firmware on the NAND.
If that is the case I will just flash it to a latest NAND Android.

well not quite, you could have android on nand and another android on sd, or wp7 on nand and android on sd.

Try to do adrecovery and factory reset, so you can flash another rom, I just did that now switching to another rom =P

It would be really nice for your not to post stupid questions. I told him to go back to winmo to see if everything is working. Flashing from winmo is easier then from this "unknown" state. I think he got all help he needed.Ad recovery and factory reset wont help him much.

After doing a task 29, format your sd card to FAT 32. (make sure you are using radio 2.15)
Then flash a bootloader, and then cwm.

No problem
In post 1 you say you are on wp7, therefore the radio must already be ok.
task 29 is mostly pointless unless you are having issues, and if you don't bother with it you won't need to reflash magldr either. You should simply be able to enter magldr, install a cwm layout and flash android.
the only sticking point is removing the custom formatted partition on the SD card, , there are a number of "how to " threads for that.

no, unfortunately you can't.
Hijacking this thread... I bought an HD2 off of a friend bc he broke it... Ive now got it running CM10 Jelly Bean. Unfortunately, it freezes. It will seem to be fine, then it will freeze and the only cure is to pull the battery. Sometimes after a freeze it will let me boot, but usually it will load to the GO! GO! GO! and freeze there until I pull the battery again and let it sit for about 10 min. Would it be possible that magdlr has issues? I only have a mac or i would just reflash Magdlr. If someone can give me a lead on what to try I would greatly appreciate it!!!
Welp, this could be bad blocks on NAND or overheating issue. You can try to reflash magldr, just put magldr's .nbh file on the root of SD Card and rename it to LEOIMG.nbh, then go to bootloader.

I think I understand but just to verify, you are saying that if I put the nbh on the SD Card it will flash Magdlr when I boot to bootloader?
Also, at first I susspected overheating as well, but then it worked for over a day before it froze, and it never feels hot...
Yep, it will flash automatically.

Nand bad
If its bad blocks on Nand is the phone shot? I reflashed Magdlr and it still freezes.
You can still try NativeSD method. If it freezes while using sd rom, that could mean the motherboard is broken.

Any chance you can point me to a link for that?
With a recovery you should probably have by now for NAND Android, create an ext4 partition. Choose a ROM from NAND section and install it, choosing NativeSD method of installation. If you don't have ext4 recovery, you can create the partition with a partition manager, just keep in mind it should be a second primary partition. Then set SD folder in magldr to NativeSD and try to boot the rom.
