In the past 24 hours, after flashing WIUI 2.3.30 V4 in Defy it got rebooted twice, with no activity / reasons. But the phone uptime shows it is running continuously without reboot.
Please let me know more on this issue.

Hey guys,
I have recently flashed 2.3.6 retail sbf onto my defy+ and I have noticed that it does not always wake up when going to sleep, I somethimes have to pull the battery out. Even now, I have installed cm7.2 nightlies and it goes to sleep without waking up (somethimes).
What is the cause of this as it was running fine on 2.3.4...
Thx
I have a defy+ with 1700mAh battery with the following stock specs:
System: 45.0.1321.MB526.AsiaRetail.en03
Kernel: gbdd614e
Build: 4.5.1.134_DFP-1321
I am now running white rabbit 1.5 as my stock rom (2nd-init) and 3 other ROMs on multiboot (v0.5.4) which are CM7.2 (Quarx latest), CM9 (epsilon3's latest) and CM9 (Quarx's latest).
The battery on the phone works fine in all the above ROMs excepts for the CM7.2 defy plus latest build by Quarx. The battery just has a "?" sign on it and shows 100% charged.
This is what I have tried to fix it:
1. Tried all battery fixes as provided by tweetypeety for white rabbit
2. Tried battery fix by AL.
3. Replaced my battd.bin from the working white rabbit ROM.
4. Tried various battery calibration software from play store.
None of the above worked.
What am I doing wrong?
Please help.
The Whiterabbit edition includes another 3 battery fixs, try it
I did try all the battery fixes as mentioned in the first post.
This is what I did to fix the issue:
- wiped everything: data, cache, dalvik, battery stats
- installed CM7.2 as the main (NAND) rom. (It was originally as multiboot)
- Seems to be working fine now. Weird.
I did not need to apply any fix for the battery
Did a search but have not seen any thread on this, so apologies if I have missed something.
I've just encountered this today and not sure what to make of it. i9000 been on CM9 nightly without issues until I woke up this morning, backlight was on (nothing unusual, just emails overnight), but it will not wake up no matter what I pressed (home button, power button etc.). So ended popping the battery out and start it up again.
This is when the strangest thing happen, loaded the usual Galaxy logo screen, then into the CyanogenMod screen, seconds later, it restarted. This boot loop went on forever. Doing VOL UP + HOME + POWER does not get me back into recovery. At this stage, I am on CM9 nightly 20120707, with CWM 6.0.0.3 (I think).
I ended up having to Odin flash back to GB 2.3.6 (XXJVU) and start over again. And I thought that was the end of it. Picked up the latest nightly 20120728 and RC2, and I ended up with the same symptom. I.e. post WIPE (Data / System / Cache) and loaded CM9 of both version (plus Gapps loaded), all ended in the aforementioned bootloop. Have also tried fixed permission as well in between tries to load CM9.
Spent a bit more time on this and I am now on the unofficial CM10 (not that I am complaining ), but this is very strange to me. Has anyone ever experienced this? It seems that I have no way of getting back in CM9.
I was running cm9 nightlies until I flashed cm10 (which is amazing ) and had no issues with it what so ever :S
I don't think I've heard of any cases of what happened to you, happening elsewhere
I'd just stick with cm10
Happened to me, too. I solved the problem flashing a previous build of CM9 and a previous build of Gapps - it seems like Gapps was the problem.
After popping out battery, insert batt., start download mode, Odin flash Semaphore ICS kernel as PDA, re-partition unticked.
Enjoy
The Semaphore dev has a thread about this. A number of people have experienced what you say with a combination of different ROMs and kernels. Check it out on development thread

Cheers for the reply fellas. Will check out Semaphore. Interesting though as I've always thought "stock" CM9 was just easy as.
Okay, So I am running Cyanogenmod on my VS-980 and there are 2 problems that I face but may be universal to all roms:
1. The Random reboots are getting more and more common so now they are up to about 7-10 times a day. Any fix? Or at least workaround?
2. Factory resets and cache clearing take SO long. It is around 10-20 minutes each. I heard it's due to the massive LG rom? Is there a way to make it normal like any other device (few seconds)?
Thanks

Try flashing cyanfox (CM11 based) and paeks kernel. Been running both for about 2 weeks....no reboots no sods no lockups. Completely stable.

I'm running the 1/04 build. Haven't tried the newest one yet, but I can say I'm totally happy with cyanfox. Best, stable AOSP ROM I've flashed yet.

Hi everybody, i'm new in the forum and not very able with technology so forgive me if i do wrong.
i decided to install cyanogenmod 13 on my galaxy s4 (GT-I9505) . I used as recovery TWRP 3.0.1-0 Released , the stable version of the cyanogen: : cm-13.0-20160820-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO0J3-jfltexx.zip and the nano pack of google apps (i had problems installing the the stock pack).
Everything went smooth and the phone was perfectly working ( with no lags or reboots) untill i have used it (for 2-3 hours downloading apps and making the "new phone" configuration). Problems started during the night when the phone ( charging, in idle) started rebooting many times.
The following days (still now) it rebooted at least 15 times per day, randomly, generally in idle.
Sometimes it blocks when i turn it on (the lock screen doesn't respond) and reboots.
Have you any suggestion?
What should i do?
Thank you.
