Hi everybody, i'm new in the forum and not very able with technology so forgive me if i do wrong.
i decided to install cyanogenmod 13 on my galaxy s4 (GT-I9505) . I used as recovery TWRP 3.0.1-0 Released , the stable version of the cyanogen: : cm-13.0-20160820-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO0J3-jfltexx.zip and the nano pack of google apps (i had problems installing the the stock pack).
Everything went smooth and the phone was perfectly working ( with no lags or reboots) untill i have used it (for 2-3 hours downloading apps and making the "new phone" configuration). Problems started during the night when the phone ( charging, in idle) started rebooting many times.
The following days (still now) it rebooted at least 15 times per day, randomly, generally in idle.
Sometimes it blocks when i turn it on (the lock screen doesn't respond) and reboots.
Have you any suggestion?
What should i do?
Thank you.

Not sure if this is the place to post this question, but I've been searching everywhere and I haven't found anyone online who is having the same issues as me.
I installed Omega V17 (for G900F) on my Rogers G900W8 S5 a few weeks ago (didn't choose to use the Omega Kernel) and it seemed to work OK, but it seemed to reboot randomly (all of a sudden when I'm in the middle of doing something, the Omega loading animation would appear). I didn't update my modem, as my phone was reporting that I was already using version VLU1BOC1. I have been trying to find out what has been causing the issue. I reinstalled Omega, tried removing all apps, but it would still crash.
I finally started to notice a pattern while at work. When I would walk across to our other building, it would always reboot. The only thing my phone would be doing when walking across the parking lot would be disconnecting from the WiFi in the one building and connect to the other. I suppose the other times when it would reboot where when the phone would, for some reason, drop the WiFi connection and reconnect (or I'm assuming that's why it reboots when I'm stationary).
When I did the install, I wiped both caches and did a factory reset beforehand and it seemed to install fine, so I don't think it is an issue with the Omega install, but I did try installing Cyanogenmod and it has been fantastic (stable and fast). I would rather run Omega for Touchwiz, but it keeps rebooting and it's pretty much unusable in that state. I noticed that there was a new version of Omega (V18) for G900F so I was going to try that version to see if it might work, but I just can't at the moment (I should be able to in the next couple days and will report back with an update).
I was wondering if there is any way to confirm what is causing the Omega reboots, and if anyone else has seen this issue before?
I bought Yureka on second sale of January month. Everything was fine even after Lollipop update. Few months ago, I flashed Yureka cm12.1 nightly and I didn't see any problem with that also. But two weeks ago, my wifi started misbehaving like not turning ON and switching OFF automatically and sometimes it doesn't show the available wifi networks. Eventually it stopped working completely. I thought that the flashed cm12.1 kernel is the culprit and so I flashed the original stock CM12 lollipop ROM. But the same problem still continued. I tried several ROMs such as SOKP, MIUI 7, CM12, CM12.1(nightley). I had same problem in all.
NOTE: Whenever I flash a new ROM, it works fine for few minutes or even hours, then it starts to misbehaving and finally stopped working. I don't think this is hardware failure, because after every flashing of ROMs, it works fine.
Someone please help me.
One more thing, whenever Wi Fi doesn't work, wifi hotspot and even bluetooth are also not working.
Hello, everyone!
Last week I received a brand new Xiaomi Redmi 3S. Everything seemed fine until I noticed that the phone tends to reboot from time to time. Sometimes, it can't work for a couple of minutes before rebooting and sometimes I can spend hours playing with it before the error happens.
I tried updating to the latest official stable MIUI and the problem persists. I switched to the developer version, to no avail.
Then, I decided to unlock the bootloader and install a custom ROM (from Xiaomi.EU) and it didn't solve the issue.
Reading through some threads in the en.miui forums I found some posts by a guy who claimed that the problem could be solved by using KernelAdiutor... But his method didn't work.
I made a video, as the vendor requested. There, you can see the problem: It rebooted my phone twice in less than 5 minutes.
I think that this problem isn't related to the battery, as the reboots have happened even while the phone is connected, and just before each reboot the phone freezes for a moment, like if a program crashed.
Any ideas on how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

No expert here, but seems could be hardware error. Next time if you happen to have such thing, don't unlock the bootloader. But maybe you can relock it (if thats needed) and install stock and send it back to them. The device seems to have a defect.
same issue for ME also ! every day crying with redmi 3s ! F**k
Hi there, first off please forgive me if I get any terminology wrong - I've been learning way more about this than I ever intended...
I have a Galaxy Note 4 (SM910F / trltexx) that's causing me problems with custom ROMs - the phone gets to various points of the startup process, then either shuts off or reboots.
I'm posting this in the Note 4 forum as it happens with all the following ROMs:
- LineageOS 14.1
- Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 / 5.8.0 / 5.8.3
I assume that either there's something screwed up about the phone itself, or I'm missing something fundamental about what ROMs I'm installing.
When I first install the OS (adb sideload), it will boot up the first time around just fine.
On occasion (with all of the above) the phone has gotten all the way to the initial configuration screen (e.g. select a wireless network). I've tried all types of wipe and format/reset, both clean and dirty flash, no difference. The point to which it gets in the boot process seems random. When the phone is connected to a charger, it will try to reboot. If it is not connected, it just shuts off.
Stock Samsung firmwares (5.0.1 and 6.1.1) with stock recovery all worked fine.
Recovery is TWRP v2.8.7.0 (that's the only one I could get running, 3.x would not start up)
I've recently had the screen replaced, the shop did a poor job (my proximity sensor started acting up, I first tried replacing it, then tried the electrical tape spacer trick, which worked.) I'm also using an aftermarket Anker battery, for what it's worth (they're great, btw).
Any ideas? As mentioned it seems to boot ok with stock firmware, but I don't want to run stock because that's no fun.
Thanks for any ideas!
Hi all,
since some weeks I've been facing an issue with my galaxy s7 edge.
I was using Floyd Rom (last version) for many months working great. Suddenly, the phone got freezed and rebooted. Since then, it's happening with my daily use very often.
It is like this: I'm using the phone with email, or checking something in browser (or with any other app) and then:
1. It gets freezed and unresponsive
and then
2. Temperature starts to increase until I reboot the phone
I've tried several roms with the same result: Floyd, Lineage, DotOS, Pixel Experience, etc...
However, and even without installing any rom, it happens the same.
Tried formatting as well with TWRP, and still the same.
Last week I tried installing the last version from the STOCK rom (android 8.0) of samsung from the official website with ODIN. The result is the same. It freezes and then raises temperature/reboots.
I'm starting to think this is a hardware issue, but before I'd like to share it here to see if anyone has any other idea before throwing my beloved S7 edge to the bin...
Any idea is very welcome.
Thank you!

The problem is in the hardware. The device must be checked to determine the problem
thank you for your answer.
Is there any app that tests/diagnoses the hardware?
I doubt if it worths to take it to tech service. It's a 4-5 year old phone...

I am facing the same issue after installing floydQ rom. Then I tried stock rom and the same freezes and reboots continued.
