Hi i have problem with screen i can't set brightness it's stucked on lowest And when i slide with bar (in settings) nothing IT Will do nothing do i installed another ROM And Same problem the Re. Plese He LP. Btw excuse my poor english

I've just run into a problem with my Touch HD and would appreciate your help.
I went into Settings to change the screen brightness, but...the icon is no longer there ! Any ideas where it's gone, or how I can get it back again ? Thanks.

You mean the POWER icon? (for battery and backlight etc)
Do you have a standard ROM?

Hi folks,
I got a very strange problem of my Samsung B7330(omnia pro):
Once my backgroud light of screen is off, I can not wake it up anymore...That's crazy cuz I have to work without background light, I can see nothing.
The only way now I have to keep background light on is restart the cellphone and keep typing it...
Is there some one have the some problem and can give me some advice???
I got a quick solve : Setting - Power Management- Set first 3 to NEVER NEVER NEVER. Than it's ok, but I think this is not a good solution.
Hi, on i8000 there are more settings for display-light if you klick on the
battery-icon in the top right corner of the startscreen.
I have instaled on my defy green lens, a 2.3.6 full rom, and i have been searching and i cannot find any one with this problem, a few seconds after restart the phone the screen brigth dims to a point, it is only possible to see in a dark place. The brigth settings doesn´t react, only the buttons change there brigth levels. The problem isn't the screen because when the phone start the motorola symbol appear brigth.

If you can go to market install root dim app put all setting to 255 (full) then save then reboot.

sorry, but do you have the automatic brightness on?
i just moved to the GGL-ROM 2.3.6 also, and my first impression was exactly the same ... the screen brightness was very low.
i just turned off the automatic brightness setting and set it manually.

I have searched the forum but didn't find this particular problem.
I have auto brightness off, and set to 40-50% manually but the screen still dims sometimes. it gets dark and i have to do a manual increase/decrease to get it to a state where i like, but then it does it again? Only way is to reboot the phone then it usually takes a while until this behaviors shows its self again.
i dont juste batterysave functions either..
Anyone else have this problem or a solution??

I have this problem since few months:
Sometimes out of nowhere the screen starts flashing (like turning up brightness to 100%) for a split second when I touch it. After a while it stops. I have no idea where it comes from or how to replicate it. Sometimes restarting the device helps, sometimes not.
Automatic brightness is turned off.
Can anyone think of the origin of this problem or how to solve it?
It is a A2017G and on 7.1.1 with A2017GV1.2.0B05 but was the same with the last update (B04?).
Anything I could think of would be SystemUI Tuner, but I only use it to hide the NFC icon.
