battery constantly disconnected when charging - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

I have this problem with my note, the screen keeps saying 'battery disconnected' when charging. After a while it continues to charge, and then it says that again, every 3-4 minutes.
When the charger is disconnected, the phone works fine.
I'm very sure there are no loose connections, as I opened it and pushed everything in place and it fits nicely.
Is it an android issue?

Clean the usb socket on the phone. I used a toothbrush and it fixed the problem for me.

I've found that the USB micro cables I've been using have been "wearing" out... Replace with a new one and try again...

Charger issue

I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, so it might just be a small defect or isolated incident.
I always charge my phone during the night while I sleep and just recently woke up to find the phone only at ~70%. For some reason the AC adapter seems to be malfunctioning. Since the issue has started, I managed to get it to charge to full one night, but the rest of the time it seems to stop charging. It recognizes it being plugged in initially but then it pops up with the notification saying that the charger has been unplugged. I've tried reconnecting both connectors which will sometimes get it to start charging for 15-30 seconds before it shows as disconnected again.
It works fine via USB connected to a computer so I can only assume it's an issue with the wall adapter. I'm not sure if there's much I can do if it is an issue with the adapter but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas that would be worth trying before I give up on the adapter. Also wondering if anyone else has had this happen.
I don't have that problem. Call and get it replaced. All you news is a USB AC adapter.
Have you checked the socket you are plugging the charger into? Have you tried a different wall socket or socket on the power strip?
Are you using a Motorola brand wall outlet and usb? I was using an aftermarket cable and had this issue. So I got a branded cable and now it's fine

i had same issues
my atrix would only charge also to 70% so i was about to return it. i forgot that it also came with a stand alone battery charger to charge just the battery. charged it and then put it on my atrix and said 100% again. hope this helps..
Yeah get the wall socket and make sure that's not the problem. Also I can't imagine it being the cable I use a 15 foot after market cheapo cable I got off newegg for like 3 bucks and it charges my phone all the way and I don't even use the wall adapter moto gave me I use some random one that's for one of my old phone or my nikon camera I don't remember. Also moto cable is crap it doesn't let me use adb doesn't seem to push enough power to my phone.
But thats just my 2 cents

Use the cables that come with the atrix.
Problem solved.

Big problem with N7... what to do?

My Nexus 7 was working fine up until yesterday. I hooked it up to my iMac at work and copied the latest version of the rom I use, flashed and everything seemed good. I noticed that last night the N7 didn't charge and the battery was really low, so I plugged it into my charger.
--Nothing--
Hooked it up to my computer
--Nothing--
Strange thing is, if I shut it down and leave it off, it detects the charger being plugged in and appears to be charging. Also, my OTG cable seems to be working fine. I hooked up my Xbox 360 wireless adapter and was able to pair and use it with my computer. I've tried wiping and re-flashing, restoring from backup, all results are the same.
Can someone give me some insight?
It seems the battery is really low. Try to use the stock charger since it has higher current to charge
Doesn't matter what charger I'm using. If android is RUNNING, it will not charge not do any USB operations (except OTG) I can't read it on the computer, charge it off the computer, charge it off any USB charger including the stock one, adb to it, fastboot to it. But if I shut it down, it will charge when it's completely turned off.
It's charging same thing happened to me when I turned it on for the first time. After putting it on for some time remove it and after some time it turned on with full charge..
In my case i Don't know why it didn't turned on just after the charging..

[Q] Touch screen goes crazy when charging?

Whenever I plug in my charger, my touch screen starts going bonkers, but unplugged it performs perfectly fine. I have turned on pointer locations to see what is going on. The touch screen fails to register touches and also fails to keep track of my finger. For instance, if I quickly swipe my finger up and down repeatedly, it will only track my finger for a very short amount of time, and sometimes fails to follow my finger at all. Unplugged, it continuously tracks my finger. Has anyone had a similar problem?
I have tested multiple chargers using my computer and a wall outlet. The problem always persists.
That's a problem on just about any smartphone. It's something to do with the voltage supplied
I have the same problem, except that the screen registers more touches and my device is a Micromax A75.

I had the same problem with my one x. It was because I was using a different charger. Ensure you are using the stock charger and if the problem persists, try a different micro usb lead!

I have tried three different chargers, same thing happens with each of them.

[Q] need help - razr m doesn't turn on - have searched google

Hello All,
I've had my razr m for a bit now, unlocked bootloader, and was running a CM 10.1 release on it for a while. I wiped it, and installed CM 10.2 nightly (10-2 build i think) - i knew i had to potential to blow up my phone. Was using the for almost 2 weeks, then I went back to my parents house and had my phone hooked up to i guess what was a cheap china wall wart with the microusb cable already built in. it got kind of hot then turned off, i unplugged my phone from the wall and put it on the floor in the garage. i tried to turn it on a couple hours later, no dice. now when i hook it up to anything (only using legit chargers and a PC that can be sacrificed) the led just stays on green, but the phone doesn't even turn on...
any advice?
tl;dr
i hooked my phone up to a cheap china wall wart after upgrading the rom and using the rom for 2 weeks.
now the phone doesn't turn on.
thanks
IMO it sounds like the battery or the charging circuit is fried... normally when the led stays on and green its telling you that the battery is completely dead and will remain that way until the charge level reaches 4-5% then it will boot to the charging screen... I would plug it into a Motorola wall charger for a half hour to an hour if after that time the phone still won't power on I'd pick get a factory cable/adaptor if that brought it to fast boot I'd flash stock and attempt to charge again...if it wouldn't charge i would find a battery somewhere...

i don't have a factory cable, but i do have an extra battery...
i am trying the battery now.... if that doesnt work any thing else?
i've made a factory cable, do i need to have the battery connect when using this cable?

I always have... I'm sure you don't need to have it connected as it bypasses it...

so i noticed that the LED only stays on green for like 5 to 10 minutes then turns off.
i have a second battery that when its connected the LED on the phone doesn't even turn on.
Hmmm.... can you get into fast boot mode with the factory cable you made?I'm guessing you found the walk through on how to make them did you make it correct solder points solid and getting +5v off pin 4...when plunged in (to charger) do you get a response from holding volume down and power....

nope, doesn't even seem to turn on.... i have a 100% new battery on the way, i am going to try to replace it, there is a chance the other battery i had hanging out was bad. I also am making a new factory cable using the microB plug from sparkFun. as a note i might have my friend make a new case for the phone for me that has a removable back.

so i got all the goodies in and hooked up the factory cable to my phone, no love from windows (ie doesn't detect the phone)
any ideas?
i know the cable is good, i have another phone that i have check it with.
i also have a board from my old xt907 (which i broke by throwing), and when i connect the factory cable to it, windows seems to think its there.
so the board for the phone that was hooked to the cheap china charger i think is 100% dead... when i hook it up to my machine with the factory cable nothing shows up.
the other board that i have has some qualcomm usb serial port show up....
any ideas on what i can try for the dead board to try to bring it to life? there is still some data i want of the damned thing....

Device usb charging connection sound issue

got an issue with the note 4.
When i unplug the device from the charger, the phone makes the standard beep sound when you first connect your device to charge on the usb socket.
It makes that beeping sound once every 2 seconds constantly? I have to turn the phone off and take out the battery for the charging sound to dissapear.
Anyone had this issue before?
I tried a factory reset and still get the issue
anyone?
I don't have that issue with my device. Maybe a loose connection somewhere. Try a different cable and usb port for trouble shooting.

Hi I asked for a replacement but they wouldn't budge and was arguing with them for half an hour in the Samsung store.
They only do replacement if it's purchased within 28 days!
They said I have to get it repaired and wait 1 to 2 weeks!
Is that happens with factory back cover too or only with s-view cover?
BTW vertical videos should be illegal

Both
I can temporarily fix it by pulling the battery out and insert it again.
I suspect that there is short inside micro usb socket. If I remember Note 4 is capable to charge other devices uding special cable. What I'm thinking : once you remove charging some pins getting shorted and note 4 either start "charging itself " (led on), sensing there is no charger attached (led off), sensing again that charger was plugged in (because of short) and keep repeating it. I could be completly wrong but try to clean inside usb socket.
