Verizon S3

Is there a reason Verizon did not get its own forum for the S3 like the other carriers did?

Guessing it's because the Verizon S3 hasn't been released yet while the others have

Rogers don't have one either .. but everyone saying Rogers and Telus have the same version as Att..
So I'm guessing VZW and Sprint will be the same

It's still currently being discussed and we should know something in the next two days of how it's going to all play out.

Downgrading from N7105 to N7100

Since the carrier I am in to does not have 4G in my area, I'm considering of getting an export set once again. The most painful reason is that up until now NO or just a few devs dare to cook something for the LTE variant.
I want your opinion to this. Anyone else did or planning to do the same?

Give it time as it the same with the lte 9305 S3 which now has over 6 ROMs I'm definantly getting the lte 7105 the speed I get is over 30mb here

Are all nexus 4s unlocked?

I have the opportunity to acquire a nexus 4 on virgin UK. An orange sim works in it but atm cannot prove if my o2 simply will work. If anyone can confirm if carrier supplied handsets are unlocked that'd be great.

Yes as far as I know they are .. for GSM networks.

They are all unlocked.

Great thanks everyone - as I don't think this was bought from the Play Store, but instead carrier provided, I wanted to make sure.

Help switch USCC gs3 to Verizon gs3

So I US Cellular is done in Chicago and I refuse to purchase another phone if I can change over with my current one.
I am already rooted and wondering what I would need to do attempt to get the cmda to recognize Verizon. PLEASE HELP!

Looks like you're in the wrong section. This is for the international GS 3 rather than any us variant so any help probably will either be a. Harmful to the device or b. Not helpful at all

Browsing while on a phone call

Im not sure if it's just my phone or how this phone was made. I'm no longer able to browse the internet while on a phone call. I was able to do it on my sgs3.

Depends on your carrier. GSM has separate multiple radios (modem and voice). CDMA does not (exception: WIFI will allow you to browse while in a call).

Not possible in the Sprint variant unless you have LTE or WiFi available while you are making the phone call. As Sprint builds out its LTE network, this situation should become less of an issue.

So this phone isnt able but the sgs3 is. These are both from sprint. I dont have lte available in my area but was always able to multi task like that before

The SGS3 is supported by svdo while the SGS4 is not supported. As someone else has said if your on Wi-Fi or LTE (which I seen you do not have yet), your good to go. But not on 3G.

Yeah, it would have been nice. I have LTE all around me, so it hasn't been a problem for me. Sucks most of you guys haven't got it yet in your area. My GNote isn't supported either. I'm assuming (as well as someone else stated) with LTE being deployed, not having it supported wouldn't be a problem. Now the problem is customers not having LTE in their respective areas.
