Hello all
just wondering if any of you guys use CM9/T-Mobile UK and also what kind of speeds you currently getting because mine are below 1mbps download and less than 0.5mbps upload :/
Truely shocking to say they are the first to bring out 4G!
Baseband Version : i9300BWLH1
Any help appreciated
Also if anyone on original T-mobile firmware can you advise of the default modem
Thank you
Thanks for the reply :/

I'm running stock and T-Mobile UK and I get about 3meg down and 1meg up on 3g and H+.
I don't think their 4g will speed up the 3g but you're right, yours should be faster depending on your connection.

Think I'll flash stock now and see what I get.

EE who will be running the 4G network is the company who own both Orange and T-Mobile. the I-9300 isn't LTE compatible so it's not worth mentioning that, as for your low speed contact customer services and ask for the iPhone data speed cap remover to be added to your account, you'll need to speak to technical, I had it added to my Orange account and speeds went from 500kb to 7000kb.
Im the same. Running stock rom Tmobile uk hspda.
Was actually pretty surprised i was getting that amount. I only get 2mb max with o2 broadband in the house!

I find here in Kent that the LI4 modem works best

Yeah, Although do you know T-Mobile isnt 4G. The company will merge into EE with Orange but at the moment EE is the 4G network in the UK. The other networks will follow after the auction next year!
Hope this helps

I'm in Vietnam for vacation, the GS4 has been released here already. Was wondering if I buy GS4 here can I later flash different modem like att or tmobile US to use on their network?
My main concerns is LTE on att and tmobile.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
Most likely LTE will not work so if thats your main concern just get it in the U.S unless you dont mind being on 3g maybe H+

Alright. So today my nexus 4 came in, and from I've read the Nexus 4 can do band 4 4G. Which from what I've heard isn't supported very much in the united States. Is this even worth me trying to get working?
If it is how hard and reliable is it for me to try this?
I am on T-Mobile and I live in Oklahoma city.

It's easy to do and very worth it.
Because you got your phone today, root it now so you don't lose any data when you unlock the bootloader.
You will have probably updated to the latest version of Android, so once you have CWM or another custom recovery, flash an older, compatible radio and then do the T-Mobile fix. This will give you working LTE on the stock ROM.
There are tons of threads out there to help you out, including this one (previously mentioned) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211618, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233319, and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147325
Don't forget to push thank you on posts if someone helped you as well. You'll be wishing you had done more of that when you learn a little more and want to add thanks to your name

Does anyone have one in the GTA? I love this phone but not sure what the data speeds would be. I'm with bell. Was reading ghat in some US markets the hspa+ was faster than the LTE.

In places where LTE is prominent, it is faster than any alternative. I think Bell and Rogers have pretty good LTE, especially in Toronto. So I don't see why it would be a problem (assuming the Find 5 is LTE capable).
It doesn't have LTE.
Speed on lte cant be beat by hspa... at least not in toronto...

Thanks for the replies. I decided against because no LTE and went with the HTC One Dev.
